Super friendly attentive staff. Got one of the 1$ small blizzards off the app and redeemed in store. The employee who made it did it to perfection. There was a bite of score all the way to the end and they actually mixed it perfect. Honestly best skor blizzard I’ve ever had. Great job. Staff actually seem like they enjoy working together. Also got asked if we needed help while someone was making the blizzards - it was great to see all staff being so attentive to the customers in store. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ will absolutely be back.

Hit & miss for service & portions. Sometimes the staff is friendly & nice & sometimes you can tell "its just a job" & unfortunately those folks always skimp on the portions. Its really unfortunate that so many places in Nanaimo hire any live body & it doesn't seem they have any standards & it really shows in the service! Atleast this DQ is more reliable than the one at County Club ~ 100% of the time their rude & only give you half the amount you paid for!(IME)

Pretty typically Dairy Queen. Overpriced but delicious ice milk cakes and treats.

I went in at store opening yesterday to order a cake for my daughter's 10th birthday, not realizing that they needed 24 hours for custom orders. The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating though. The lady who was making cakes for the day (I didn't get her name) truly went above and beyond. She was able to make the exact cake I wanted and even write the text perfectly (based on a drawing my daughter had done).Excellent service!!

Ordered a birthday cake and I am so disappointed and sad the way it turned out. I had a picture which was not only printed as a small square picture and put on a round cake, it’s so much smaller then expected leaving tonnes of white empty space. The picture itself is terrible too, I had colours in mine and the background of my picture is just shades of blue, almost like their printer ran out of colour ink. I also have a dent in the top of the cake, which I will have to try and cover myself. For $45 I am so disappointed, won’t make the mistake of ordering birthday cakes from Dairy Queen again.

I bought 2 meals and blizzards to take home. With discount it cost me 35$! I thought that would be my biggest shock of the evening, but I was very wrong. The fries were old stale and soggy and came out of the box with a thud. My 6 piece meal was made of 2 strips and 8 1-inch pieces that were overcooked so that the big piece was fully cooked, but the other little chunks were rocks. My blizzards were melted and unmixed. We had to mix them ourselves and freeze them before we could eat them. Called the store to ask them to make it right, and they would only make me new fries if I brought in the gross ones to prove it and let the rest of it get cold. Nothing but poor management. Hopefully, the real manager will make things right when they are back, but I won't hold my breath.

Great food and fast service. One of the best fast food experiences I've had in a while!

Used to be my fave burger spot, specifically this location made the bombest mushroom swiss burger.. Which dq turned into a "mushroom cheese stack burger", which is lame for "used to be good suck burger". Even if the ingredients or recipe were still decent they don't do nearly as boss of a dressing job, and it seems they think adding multiple cow discs could make up for that? Absolutely not. PS no wifi is incredibly inconvenient and it is near straight up discrimination to chase certain customers off as soon as they walk out the door saying "u can't sit here". Booo, I want old DQ back and some wifi here and there up Nicol Street could bring back some confidence in safety in an area where I wouldn't trust my cat to be left alone (and I don't even like cats).Kid-friendliness: Expensive for very small portionsDietary restrictions: Rough
