The Nanaimo cheesecake was delicious. While in town on a brief visit I thought it was smart to try something local.Plenty of selection with all of the different flavours. The crust is quite hard which I'm not used to with cheesecake but it tasted fresh and had lots of flavour.Very friendly service. The seating inside is a little odd but not an issue. Glad that I found time to stop by.

I never got to eat here. So I don’t know about the food. But I would give a 0 star if possible for the service. Today (26 April 2024) at 2.30 -3.00 pm, the lady in the store, was so rude, not interested to take orders, and gave a look like I came for free food. Myself, my husband, baby and my parents where so excited to try the Nanaimo bars here, reading about great reviews. Extremely disappointing but glad to get out and try the best Nanaimo bars ever from “serious coffee” with extraordinary host with a very pleasant face that made our day. So I would recommend “Serious Coffee” place if you are looking for Nanaimo bars and they have the best coffee I have ever had in town.Respond to the owner: 1. she never was polite. 2. I never asked or told her the other place had the best Nanaimo bar. Your respond itself says, how much you care about your customers. It’s not just good food that matters, but a happy face that is ready to serve food matters. All the best for your business.

Omg! I purchased 2 pieces of cheesecake...the chocolate peanut butter and turtle. They were both amazing! Seriously, you need to try their cheesecake! It's not like any other cheesecake you've tried. The pieces are huge; 3 inches tall and 3x3 wide. It's sooooo creamy; it's almost like no bake cheesecake...maybe it is no bake; I'm not sure but it's really really delicious and everyone should try it. You won't be disappointed and they have many different flavours...12? 13?Excellent ??!

Stopped in at Red's for the first time. Got a Banana Cream Pie and Lemon Raspberry cheesecake. The banana cream pie was beautiful and rich, very banana without being overpowering. The lemon raspberry was delicious and zingy, nice fresh flavor, nice raspberry contrast. The graham cracker crust is delightful. Good prices too and a nice big slice.Absolutely enjoyed. Great friendly service too. Nice its open late when it's quiet downtown for parking.Thanks Red's!

We stopped in just passing by and bought the quiche, the chicken pot an apple fritter and sweet cream cup; the quiche is the BEST we have ever had! The rest was absolutely delicious as well! Highly recommend it. I am seriously going to see if they will ship some of their products to the us in the lower mainland

Dropped by on a whim and what a great surprise. First of all they are open 24 hours 7 days a week. Blows my mind it's super convenient not to have to check people's hours. But the topper is the food is amazing. We shared a samosa and a taco pastry. Fabulous, can't wait to go back for the cheesecake. Also found some cheeky little greeting cards. Awesome.

Rave RAVE RAVE !A couple years ago when my cousin was down visiting she accidentally left her engagement ring in the tip cup at reds bakery , she was devastated, however red had posted one was left in there and if you can describe it , you may have it back .. low and behold it was hers , fast forward to now every time my cousin comes for a visit she has to go to reds bakery to get some treats and reminiscing, this week was her husband's first time ever being here so we of course , wondered over to reds !First of all let me say that the young women working the counter who I do believe is reds daughter , she was so kind , so engaging with both the kids and us , we got 2 different kinds of cheese cake , a taco pocket , apple fritter and 4 sausage rolls for there drive back to the Okanagan...My son said "this cheese cake is absolutely amazing I have never tasted something so good " ** Oreo **My niece happy danced the entire time she ate the lemon and raspberry cheese cake and every time my cousin took a bite , she would vocalise how amazing every bite was ..I educated them on all the good that comes with this little ma and Pa shop , alll the help and love and support for our community ❤️GIGANTIC SHOUT OUT TO Red's Bakery AS you are a staple for my family every time they visit , we have to go to Reds , thank you for being you and for allllll you do .
