Very cool restaurant with friendly staff, unfortunately where it fell short was the food . Maybe based on reviews I ordered the wrong meal. I ordered the Brisket plate , and the brisket was terrible . Chewy with no flavour , fries were okay but gravy was no good, cornbread was decent , beans average , but the Coleslaw was awful. Coleslaw is a basic dish , shredded cabbage , maybe some carrot , but red onion ruined this staple

As expected, even though a little slower start to the service on this visit, food and atmosphere were great. I’m for a late lunch for a hardy meal and received exactly the quality and quantity of food anticipated. Will keep coming back!

The Worlds Most Uninteresting Man
This visit was actually April 16, 2023. Went for a cool weather rip with a friend to Blairmore for a kijiji run. Found our way to The Rum Runner and ended up sitting with a fellow rider we met at the gas station in Frank. Hey Dan!! Was nice meeting you.I got the Bacon Cheddar burger and it was awesome. My buddy got the Bison burger and he says it was the best bison burger he has ever had. I'll take his word for it as I didn't have that. Bummer side of things was the fries got boring real quick. Maybe I have had fries to often. Time for coleslaw as a side I guess. This was only my second time to this place, but both times it was overall great.
