Cashier kept taking orders while 1 lady was trying to get them all out. Cashier should have put taking orders on hold long enough to help the lady get caught up on sandwich making.

Used to be my favourite place to stop in for lunch and went there all the time. Last time I went they were out of several ingredients so couldn’t make many of the sandwiches on the menu. The food has gone down hill and the cheesecakes were my favourite but no longer has the same quality as with previous owner.

Used to be my favorite sandwich shop in Alberta. Now, under new management it is clearly sinking. New staff is carefree, constantly making mistakes ( today I had the paper cheese separaters in my sandwich and the butt end of the bread used). Their prices have increased and sandwich size has gone down. The pickles given on the side used to be to die for, now they are tiny, sad shells of their former self. Loyalty cards are gone, the atmosphere in the store has gone from vibrant and happy workers to depressing and sad. I continued going here hoping to continue enjoying my favorite sandwich shop but instead am constantly disappointed by a new owner that clearly does not care about their customers.

New ownership has significantly worsened what used to be one of the best sandwich shops in Alberta. Smaller portions, increased price, removing loyalty cards, much longer wait time after ordering, lack of care when constructing sandwiches. It's very disappointing to see what has become of my favorite lunch spot.

The gobbler was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had! The pumpkin pie cheesecake was amazing as well!

Good sandwiches and the soup variety. Don't miss out on the Red pepper Bisque!Update: Was five stars but new management seems to have changed the quality and quantity of the food. Check your BLTs before leaving, as other reviews have said random items seem to be added or removed.

The new management has not been for the better. Prices have gone up and sizes of sandwiches has gone down. Very disappointing!! Used to be my favorite spot for a great lunch. Messed up our orders as well...who eats a BLTC without mayo??? And my co-worker's order was loaded when I said 3x that only onions, cucumber, and lettuce were wanted. Going to lose a lot of business if it continues.

This place use to be a go to for my lunch break but unfortunately after recent changes I haven’t been back. Sandwiches are smaller, only one daily soup choice, often very slow service not due to how the team is performing but what appears to be lack of staffing. It would appear to me that new management is more concerned about increasing profit but in the end, these poor changes might actually lose more business.

This was our first visit to Eastside Eatery. It's a bit out of the way, in an industrial area. The sign is very plain but there is free parking, although I parked on the street because I'm towing a trailer. We both ordered sandwiches. For me it was the meatloaf sandwich and for my partner it was Chipotle Turkey Bacon. They use really thick slices of bread that some may like and others might find too filling. My meatloaf sandwich was only $10.50 which is good value. The Chipotle Sandwich was a bit more at $13.50 but that's still reasonable. I had a coffee too. It was fine, though nothing special.WiFi is free but not password protected. It was nice inside the cafe. Very roomy and not too loud nor too quiet. It was easy to carry on a conversation. I enjoyed my sandwich but it was a bit large. Still this could be my new go to cafe when I'm hungry on the QEII. I recommend it.
