“Drove 2 hours just to come here. The restaurant was slammed when we got there. They got us in as quick as they could. Waitresses did a great job. The food was amazing. Have tried similar restaurants but the flavour complexities do not compare. Highly recommend.”

“Great pizza, probably the best in the East Kootenay’s. I had the Cheese Crust pizza and my wife ordered the Queen Mary and I would have given them a five star had they cut the pizza. Two takeaways pizzas and neither were cut so that made for an interesting experience of ripping the beautiful pizza into manageable pieces.”

“We had a fantastic dining experience at Tandoor Grill Indian restaurant, enjoying warm, inviting ambiance with traditional Indian decor and music. The food was delicious, with appetizers like samosas and vegetable pakoras, and main courses like chicken tikka masala and lamb biryani also they have more option western menu salmon striplion burger fish & chips . The restaurant offers authentic and delicious Indian cuisine, highly recommends for dining.”

“Nice place to eat, the food was amazing I had 2 tacos chicken and beef the beef was amazing chicken was tasty too. Also had a pork tostada that's was very scrumptious. Washed it all down with a cucumber and habanero margarita. Was a decent price too. I'd def go back.”

“what a gem for Fernie! wanted to try something different and Chilango didn't disappoint. Fresh and pleasantly displayed plus truly authentic Mexican dishes. From our appies to our dessert we were pleased. The decor is clean, bright and attractive, and our waitress was friendly, made great suggestions and good conversation.”

“I have been meaning to stop there for ages, and I'm sure glad I did. I had the wrap, and what a wrap, I think it weighed a kilo! It was a perfect blend of meaty, crispy, sweet, and salty. It was just the beginning of fall and the food, friendliness and atmosphere warmed me right up! There was lots of outdoor seating, a dog station. What else could you want?”

“Mugshots has a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere. It’s nestled off the Main Street. It’s a nice open space and the staff are so lovely! The London Fog latté is to die for!! All their teas are great actually.They do super cool pop-up nights where they host different events in the space. I didn’t get to attend one but I saw posters and they look like so much fun.I would definitely recommend paying a visit!”

“This is an absolute gem in Fernie, it's a house converted to a restaurant and has been so tastefully designed. The atmosphere and staff are so welcoming, you feel instantly at home. The stroganoff and Lasagne were exceptional and so great to hear how many local producers they utilize. The wine list is extensive, the staff knowledgeable on choices and pairings and they even have wine on tap!! Can't wait for the warm weather when they will open their backyard patio ?Dietary restrictions: So many GF, DF and veg optionsKid-friendliness: Kids allowed all the time!!”

“Never a bad day at the Fernie Brewing Company! Great selection of craft beers for every palate on tap and in the cooler. I enjoy almost every type of beer but only the FBC seems to nail every type, not a bad taste in the range which I can't say for most other breweries other than Alberta's Balzac Brewery. I love What The Huck for a delicious berry beer, fresh fruity fun Straight Line White with spicy coriander and bright sweet orange, seasonal Black Mammoth for an extra strong dark that punches me in the face but I keep coming back for more because it's that good ?, with Java the Hut coffee stout for a smooth creamy dark alternative. There's so much more but that's what tasting is for. Also some pretty high quality swag, we love the flannels, hoodies and shirts, plus hats and toques and even the glassware. If you can't find something you love here, that's on you ? if you stay for a beer the view from the patio is mountainesque (there is a dog station next to it) and lots of seating inside and out. It can get really busy in the summer. They have snacks like bagged chips but you are free to bring your own food (try the Funky Goat pizza in Fernie) Definitely a must stop if you are passing through. Try the samplers for a good idea of what they offer, they also will give tastes of anything on tap. Located just outside the main town heading to Sparwood next to the Home Hardware. Extra parking available between the brewery and Home Hardware. ??”

“Came here with my husband and 3 young kids for my bday. Service and food was amazing! We got ramen bowls, shared a sushi roll and my kids got tempura shrimps and veggies. Zero complaints. Will definitely come again:)”

“Absolutely outstanding service! Came in with a large group for a hockey tournament and not only were they extremely accommodating to it they were so quick with the food, especially the kids meals! Communication to set this up was so easy and the staff was absolutely amazing!! Absolutely would recommend!! Food was perfect as well!!”

“You can tell there’s a pride in ownership with this Starbucks location. It is always organize and clean. Staff are friendly and chatty which makes ordering pleasant and easy.Parking: Limited amount of spots in the front of the location, kind of hard as it’s super close to the drive-through.”

“Pull off the highway and eat here. The chicken soup was full of chicken and vegetables, the pasta was fresh and the ragu had chunks of meat, so rich and delicious. I had the prosciutto and arugula pizza and it was perfect. The crust was delicious and fresh. The kitchen was experimenting with new pastries and we had a ricottA loaf as a starter. Tiramisu for dessert.”

“Really high quality food, I’d go as far as to say best burgers in town. Reasonably priced, and very friendly and efficient staff. A&W burger Fernie is great for a solid feed after a day skiing, biking or hiking in Fernie! Definitely recommend!”

“My partner and I came here for dinner since we were staying at Lizard Creek Lodge. Based on other reviews, it seems like it can be very hit or miss here. However, we did have a nice experience. We both ordered the elk bolognese which delivered on flavour and portion size (it was huge). Can’t speak to other dishes but we were fans of the spaghetti after a long day on the mountain, and the views/ambience is lovely as well.”

“Hands down, the best wings I’ve ever had. On god. We had 60cm of fresh powder while in Fernie, and the highlight of the trip was these wings. The breading and crunch on was superb. Unmatched by any other pub wings. As for the sauces, I ended up having nearly every flavour during my 2 meals here, and their sweet heat siracha slaps the hardest. Another standout is the mesquite BBQ, but I have to be honest and say that I would steer clear of the honey garlic. It might have been the batch we were served, but they weren’t saucy enough. Still 10/10 because of that famous northern crunch though.I will definitely be coming back to Fernie. Primarily for these wings, but might make time for some skiing while I’m there.”
