“Had to update. Can't even update the STAR reviews if I could I would update them 2 stars I've been coming here since they opened, and at least 2x a week, love their food n service but the prices in last year have gone up by almost $5 each item. That's why I cut back n only go once a month if anything or less. I use to spend at least $60 a week there. Now prices have tripled and just not it anymore. Shouldn't take advantage of price hikes that everyone else is doing like rents, gas, food, etc. Smh“

“After failing at the Mexican food place down the street, Via Mar was a nice change. Large TV’s, friendly staff, plenty of space and most importantly, great food. I had the two pescado tacos (battered) on a delicious corn tortilla. Not sure if they were hand made but tortilla quality matters. Fresh cabbage, spicy salsa made for a great meal.This part of town has many Mexican restaurant choice and this one should be on your seafood list.“

“I had no idea this restaurant existed. If I did, I would've come here at least twice a week. This is easily one of the best Mexican places I've been to in a while. So homey, clean and welcoming. It's in a strip mall, so parking is plentiful and easy. It's the restaurant beside the laundromat. This place specializes in birria. So we got their birria pizza and nachos with birria meat. You order everything either from a cashier at the counter or through a kiosk nearby. It's very high tech. The nachos came out within 5 minutes. It tasted fresh and home-made. My son and husband just attacked it with gusto and barely left me any. The tortilla chips were light and didn't taste greasy. The birria meat was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. This was the best dish of nachos I've ever had. That's saying something! The birria pizza was so flavorful...it isn't made with pizza dough but with crunchy tortillas that were generously packed with the meat and cheese. I was surprised by the structural integrity - it didn't fall apart even after I dipped it into their consommé (which tasted like a liquid dream) multiple times. I couldn't stop eating because I enjoyed the mouthfeel so much. The owner, Francisco, was kind enough to allow us to sample their churros which were made in-house. They were the most righteous proportions of crunchy and soft. And dipped into their dulce de leche (which is not cloyingly sweet but surprisingly balanced and complemented the churros so well) - we knew we were addicted. All in all, this was such a serendipitous find. We're so lucky we stumbled upon this gem. This must not be gatekept! Go to Fuego Cravings and thank me later!“

“Food was great ordered the M2 seafood deluxe however it does not come neatly like the old photos . My shrimp was buried under everything . A positive is they currently give a pound of crawfish free if you order the m2 .Also dissapointing is they asked what drinks we would like my friend and kid ordered 2 cokes but unknowingly to us the m2 was supposed to come with a liter of soda so i was charged extra for the drinksI'd comeback the food was great and mistakes happen.“

Our wait for the main course was not good about 50 minutes and a couple who were seated after us . Received there entire meal before our main course was brought out to us . Even when other people at the restaurant have been annoying (drunk people are gonna do what they're gonna do lol), we get incredible service no matter who our server is. Granddaughter relishes CT's black truffle chicken dish which we now order whole so she can take leftovers home. Each time we try a different dish and CT hasn't missed.“

“The best place for a foodie !! Mom and I had a blast!! She ate the Governor Tacos I had the Black Tide. I ordered the Hibiscus taco and the Mushroom taco from the vegan section. Mom LOVED the tacos. The flavors vibed delectably. The Black Tide was fresh, firey, the mango and apple with the shrimp was diced to perfection. The vegan tacos were amazingly delicious. The Hibiscus was dipped in the dark sauce. WOW!!! The blue tortilla was a bonus. It was so romantically blended. There is something about Hibiscus ?. “I ate here for the first time. I can’t believe I had never tried it! I’m not as much of a fish person, so I got the Torta Asada. It was incredible! The guacamole blended perfectly with the marinade to make a savory creamy complement to the asada. Throw a little lime that’s provided in there and it’s to die for. This will be a new craving!“

“This place is amazing. My friend made reservations for us about a month in advance. We were seated right away. We had the options of either seafood or beef menu. We choose the beef menu. This is my first dining experience so I was looking forward to everything. This was a unique 12 course experience and the staff here did an amazing job. Every item that came out was very good. One thing to note is that you have to "send" in your order using your phone. Im a oldie and this is annoying. My friend ordered for us. The English menu is not entirely translated correctly. It takes quite a bit of time to get your order. So keep ordering Their flavored soju cocktail is too sweet, barely any soju. They have 2 beers on tap...coors light and a japanese one (i think). I was a little eerrked with the "server" bc she made it sound like ordering 12 lamb skewers between 2 ppl was alot. So we reduced to 10 skewers. We ordered like 20 more skewers after Pls we're pigs lol The setup inside is not ideal but whatever. The deco is totally weird and im wondering what the concept is. There was karaoke that started when we were about to leave... so glad we were leaving. Hehe“

“It's been a couple years since I've had Taco Nazo and I'm so glad that I decided to pay them a visit. There's lots of new changes to their restaurant that make it feel more modern and upgraded. I came in during a dinner rush but was able to get my food in less than 10 mins! The asada burrito was delicious and packed with meat! You can also never go wrong with a couple of their fish and papa tacos either. Don't forgot to ask for their yellow chili peppers! Matt was awesome to talk to and offered the best customer service! “I can't believe that I didn't write a review for A Ri Rang Tofu House because I've been there many times. It's still my go-to for Korean tofu soup. It's located in a busy strip mall so parking is an issue. Luckily we got a space downstairs at busy dinner time. It was windy and chilly that night so the restaurant was full when we got there. We waited about 10 minutes and we got our table. Their prices are not cheap and they increased a lot in recent years. We ordered the combo C8 (rice with assorted vegetables and beef in the hot stone pot plus a seafood tofu soup ($28.99), S4 Grilled teriyaki chicken ($26.99), and S8 Rabokki (rice cake, fish cake, ramen noodles, vegetables with spicy sauce) for ($18.99). The restaurant also offers side dishes (banchan) for free and you can ask for refills. The banchan was very addictive and we all liked the potato dish, broccoli, seaweed, and kimchi, etc. Service was okay that night maybe they were too busy. The Grilled teriyaki chicken was tender but the portion was smaller than before and the chicken meat was cut into small pieces. I still like my bibimbap hot stone rice but I wish the seaweed was more crispy and the beef was not cut into those tiny pieces though. My daughters like their rice cake dish but they could not finish it. Overall it was delicious and it was satisfying to have hot Korean food on a chilly night.“

“My wife and I came here on a Saturday night and there were maybe about 3 other tables occupied. There was live music which was great. We didn't see anyone working so we sat ourselves in a booth and patiently waited for someone to take our order. Ended up ordering the botana la palma and ceviche de pescado. About 5-10 minutes later we were informed there were no more fish for the ceviche, so we decided to go with shrimp instead. The service was a bit slow or non existent. Maybe because the restaurant was hosting a paint&sip on the other side and required the waitress' attention. Nonetheless the food was amazing! Seafood tasted fresh and full of flavor. Where it went a bit wrong was when we got our bill. I typically just double the tax for a 20% tip, but didn't realize until afterwards that 1. The tax was off and 2. We got the wrong bill. The botana la palma was $25 and ceviche i believe was around $19, but was charged $25 for sashimi de atun azul. The tax was only $2.49 so our tip was unfortunately lower than intended (sorry, I was tipsy). My fault for not checking, but I was in a rush. Overall, would definitely come back, but will double check my bill.“

HIGHLY recommend!FOOD: They have reasonable lunch specials available from which we ordered the chicken enchiladas & al pastor street taco. Both were great & very tasty. I also had a craving for chilaquiles so we ordered that off the regular menu and my cravings were very well satisfied. After coming here countless times, I feel like the service could use some improvement. The waitress is always super nice, but I think she struggles without extra help. Sometimes she's forgetful or we have to ask her for things often. It's not a big deal as she's always very pleasant and we love coming here overall, but with a larger group it could be an issue. Other than that they make some of the yummiest dim sum around. They make my favorite charsiu.... chasu? chashu?? -- anyway, favorite bbq pork steamed bao here. I don't know what makes them so good. I think there's a hint of ginger in that filling. Their stir-fried noodles, $5.89 under the "Chef's Special" section, are also a steal. Their steamed sausage rolls are good as well. I've only ordered my food to-go. I've only seen diners inside one in a while although admittedly I usually stop in the early afternoon. The ladies behind the counter are no nonsense but sweet; they've thrown a sample my way once or twice. The wait for your food can be more than a few minutes, especially if that item you want isn't fully steamed yet, especially if they're busy, but the extra wait is worth it. They're a dim sum hole-in-the-corner of a strip mall dominated by a Good Fortune Supermarket, which means tons of parking. In fact, every single time I've been there, there's always another customer-- or several customers-- waiting to order, or waiting to receive their order. Speaking of ordering, they have the standard golf pencils (next to a bottle of hand sanitizer) for filling out the order form. There are also laminated menus with photos.
