“We love this restaurant! This is one of our favorite restaurants. The waiters were super friendly and nice. We love the food and desserts there. I highly recommend the Yakiniku Party as it includes a wide range of food from salad, sushi to raw meat (beef, pork, shrimp etc) for BBQ. We will continue to be loyal customers!“

“Build your own bowl of meat and vegetables, then the chefs take your bowl and cook it in front of you on that large round griddle. The noodles are very good, and your ingredients are good quality and large variety. The flavor comes from the sauce that they put on which is a weak point. Some more variety of sauces would be great.“

“This may be one of the best sushi deals in Southern California. I know that once the word is out that it’ll be harder to get in, but they deserve the recognition.“
“The new Sanfransokyo menu is amazing! I had the Beef Birria Ramen and the Big Hero 6 Macaron. Both delicious. But the winner was the Lychee Strawberry cocktail. Refreshing and with a little kick“

“Absolutely phenomenal. Found this place because they popped up on my IG explore feed and I’m so glad I gave them a chance - Food is 10000/10. Never had ANY musubi THIS good before. The very kind owner was working behind the counter helping cook and serve the food. Lovely restaurant, will absolutely be returning. Give these guys your business ASAP! It’s a true hidden gem.“

“Wow this place is just like the katsu I’ve had in Korea and Japan! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and amount each katsu set came with for under $20! The pork katsu was sliced THICK and the meat was super juicy! The breading on the katsu was perfectly prepared and seasoned too. Each bite had that nice crunch to it. The restaurant itself has a nice minimalist approach to the aesthetics and really cute just like Korea or Japan. The staff is super friendly and overall you’ll have a good experience here! So many people have found out about this place and it gets busy after 6pm. Be prepared to wait after 6:30pm! But the food will be well worth it. I love their omurice and the yuzu panna cotta which I’ll order again next time! This is top notch the best katsu restaurant in SoCal!!“

“Food: Kimchi Butter Katsu Chicken had the right balance between spice, butter, moist breaded chicken; Kimchi Butter Shrimp was also excellent; Spam Brulee was a great new take on the typical Spam Musubi with their mayo-based sauce on top Service: made-to-order service Design: interiors had the touch of island vibes with the rope lashing & surfboard sign, but is part of the larger Rodeo 39 Public Market Overall: if you want great Hawaiian inspired grindz with a little extra kick, then check out this spot and get ready to roll your eyes back with satisfaction!!!“

“Peru x Vietnamese fusion food! It’s a very unique combination I’ve never tried them before. Most dishes are quite flavorful. It feels like Asian fusion style food. The fried rice was very good. I like the shrimp plate too. The coconut strawberry drink was good. Servers are very nice! Great vibe and pretty decor.“

“We've been going here pretty much since they opened and we now go at least once a week. The food is great! The prices are very reasonable. The owner always provides us with great service. A very humble hardworking individual. Always happy to see us, wants to accommodate us and misses us if we miss one week. He treats us like family. This alone makes us want to support him more. Most of the time we have the Combo B and Combo C, it's what we like, but we've also had the Philadelphia roll, Tempura and Gyoza and truly we've loved everything they've made for us. I also love that the restaurant is very neat, clean and organized. The atmosphere its very relaxing. Usually theres the nice music playing on the background and a couple of TV's. Its perfect for us. It's very rare to find all of these pluses in one place. For all the good we will continue to support it.“

“We had a great time here! It felt like you were transported to the mountains of China. The food was artfully presented, and it was fun to have something different in a sea of Chinese restaurants. Our group wasn’t into the super spicy, so we didn’t try the ma-la stuff. The service was not super proactive but we were served quickly when we did ask for anything. All in all a great experience. Follow @teamibrahimre for more reviews & local highlights!Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the koi pond and the rocks ?There were enough non-spicy foods that my kids could enjoy.“

“The hype is real. Owner is great, staff are nice, and food is delicious. Ordered volcanoe chicken bowl, teriyaki chicken with veggies, and tropical orange chicken plate. Found a new favorite rice bowl place :) Come early though. Seating is limited and when there's a dinner rush, thats an understatement. We'll be coming back again.“

“All the dishes are freshly made, appetizers included. We thoroughly enjoyed the egg rolls and tom yum goong soup. The soup is made more traditional, so flavors are rich & complex. For entrees, we ordered pad won sen & panang curry. Again, the flavors were rich and complex. Great restaurant, friendly service, delicious food. Highly recommend.“

“I ordered to go from Yelp and when I arrived the food was ready. It's in the shopping center near Da Vien. Parking wasn't hard to find on a Monday afternoon. The food itself was soooo good. I got the pork cutlet with cheese curry. The cutlet had the perfect pork to cheese ratio and the cheese was still gooey when I got home. The curry had a mild spice level, to almost very minimal spice. Since I ordered online unsure if you can change the spice level but would love if it were a little spicy! Overall the food is really good and will come back!“

“Craft Bowl is a hidden gem where you get to build your own Korean rice bowl. I got the chicken bulgogi. The toppings were fresh and delicious, and the entire bowl was enough for two meals, they give a lot of protein. It’s super yummy and makes you feel healthy too with the veggie toppings they offer. Guacamole is extra but definitely worth it, you could tell the avocados were perfectly ripe. They offer garlic edamame for extra too which I’ll have to try next time.I had to do half white rice and half brown rice because they were running low on white rice when I went, I’m happy it seems to be popular because the quality of the food is amazing! The playlist was also on point, it was a great night vibing to music and eating delicious food. I’ll definitely be coming back. It would be awesome if they offered japchae in the future but you can’t go wrong with rice!Parking: Strip mall parking“

“This place is so cute. It's a little mom and pop shop. Please be patient when waiting for food as it's a little small family business they don't have that many staff.I got the tempura shrimp curry bowl, tiramisu drink (not in the photo), and chocolate croffle. The ambiance is so nice with jazz playing in the background, cute decors, and the volume was not too loud.Their bathroom is clean with good smelling soap and lotion.“

“This place has been opened for ten months - how could I have not known about this? Until my neighborhood friends recommended this place. No more making the drive in traffic out to Savoy in Alhambra when craving for Hainan chicken rice. It's a small restaurant tucked behind Popeye's fried chicken adjacent to Auntie Anne's pretzel and Jamba Juice. They have a limited menu that specializes in chicken rice. For my first try I kept it simple with Hainan chicken rice to go order. There is regular and a larger size portions. The perfectly sliced boneless chicken sits on top of ginger chicken broth flavored rice comes with minced cucumber slices, and three sauces sambal, soy sauce, and ginger sauce. There is also a small side of chicken broth. The chicken tastes clean, no MSG detected. Next time I'll be back to try the fried chicken. No cash accepted, pay by cashless credit card or Apple Pay at the kiosk.“

“Got their vermicelli noodle, and it tasted good. Lots of grilled pork came with it. Their fried chicken was crispy. I went on a weekday night and the restaurant was pretty busy, and it took >30 minutes before the food came out. Price of the food is very reasonable.“

“Stopped by for lunch on a weekday and was seated right away. The waitress was so sweet and even though she was alone, always had a smile and gave amazing service. Got the classic noodle (spicy), which also comes with rice at the end to mix the rest of the sauce. The noodles are so bouncy, chewy, and soaked up the amazing flavor of the sauce. It also had a good kick to it since I got it spicy. So happy to have found an amazing spot to eat near home!“

“So yummy! The inside is small- it's like 6 tables or so inside but it's cute inside! Our server was Kyle according to the receipt and he was great. 10/10 service. “These fresh hand-pulled noodles live up to their hype-- THICC, chewy, bouncy, slurpy heaven; let me tell ya about it ! We FINALLY were able to stop by Noodle St. for a late lunch Saturday afternoon after having bookmarked them for years ! We are huge fans of The Magic Noodle in Vegas and haven't quite found anything closer to home comparable to them.. until now !! Parking lot is huge and shared between a few other businesses and we had no trouble finding a spot . We were greeted right away by the hostess, which also happens to be our waitress-- she offered a table inside the restaurant which was about 80% full, but we opted to sit outside, OF COURSE (: --It was a gorgeous slightly-sunny day and there were about 5 tables outside with only one other table occupied . I took a look at the menu and honestly wanted to order one of everything lol-- Here's what we ate: POTATO STRING SHRIMP (5 pieces): literally like shoestring fries wrapped around shrimp ! Cwispy exterior, chewy potatoe middle, then shrimp in the center-- basic, yet such a unique and fun bite . Shrimp could've been more plump or serving could've been more plentiful . Served with a sweet and sour sauce which was mediocre compared to the actual appetizer-- Ask for the chili oil tray to spice things up ! 6.5/10 BONE-IN RIB RICE NOODLE SOUP: We opted for the triangle cut noodles for this entree and it was like one super, SUPERRR long noodle in the soup which made it such an exciting slurp and bite . This was a flavorful pho broth which really hit the spot . Served steaming hot and garnished with herbs with two massive meaty bones-- we definitely got our gnawing on lol; the meat was tender and fall off the bone. Highly recommend !! 10/10 JAPANESE MISO NOODLE SOUP: This was a play on ramen soup which turned out to be just okay to me. The broth was a little underwhelming compared to the bone-in rib soup . We also got the triangle cut noodles for this entree . I did like the thinly sliced char sui . Egg could've been more jammy-- it was hard boiled . If you're looking for a more plain broth, I'd get this one . 5/10 BEEF STIR FRY NOODLES: we added shrimp to this entree for an additional $4 because we wanted some surf and turf action and it did not disappoint ! I opted for knife cut noodles and it has to be my fav-- irregular strands of thick, chewy, and bouncy noodles -- so heavenly ! The flavor in this stir fry was smokey, savory, slightly gingery, umami and the vegetables paired all well-- reminded me of chow fun sauce . Love the use of kale, onions, and bell peppers . Mushrooms would've knocked this one out of the park !! Highly recommend 10/10 . Overall, we had an excellent experience . Our waitress was wonderful, clean environment, and food came out really quick and delicious for being so busy . We definitely will be regulars from here on out . I need to be back to try everything else on the menu next time-- particularly the spicy beef noodle soup because that's what I would've ordered if I had brought my Tums lol“

“Parking: Very easy even on a Saturday/ Sunday brunch day. I would say to come early to check in on their Yelp waitlist in case their place get's especially busy. If you order all these dishes with a group of 4 people, this will fill you up. Banana Latte: Tasted more of the latte than the banana. Gamberry Rose Pasta: Don't play with the spicy level. It's not death spicy but it's a bit like Shin Ramen spicy. Would not recommend this dish for my non tolerant spicy people. Pasta is wonderful though, sauce was like uni cream, there were bits of masago (tiny fish eggs) to add a nice texture, 2-3 regular shrimp and a jumbo shrimp in the dish. Beet Tataki Salad: Would highly recommend for anyone! The beef was cooked so well, medium rare on the inside and the outside sliced edges were really crispy! Salad was refreshingly and dressed well with their vinaigrette, tomato, and shredded cheese. Gambas: Not my favorite dish. The sliced bread was presented in the skillet so bottom portion of the bread was overly greasy. There was too much olive oil at the bottom of the pan than necessary. Toasted whole garlic and olives, I think the only redeemable feature of the dish would be the shrimp.“

“Hospitality goes a long way for me, just going there today for the first time. There's an older uncle hustling and bustling, with a big smile. I can say this without an ounce of doubt, his vibe and attitude made it worth it. The ambiance is amazing, the original server/host was very nonchalant and stoic, but I understand having tunnel vision while working. The meal was awesome! The food was fast and quick, and most importantly delicious & hot. Thank you for this 5 star experience to the Uncle, so good lol I gave him a 50% tip because that type of spirit is such a blessing to see and have around while eating or being outside in general!“

“The sushi was amazingly ? fresh. The place was clean and the presentation was on point. I loved the quaint atmosphere. We had an appetizer of blue soft shell crab. The breading was a bit thick and the crab was rather moist. The flavors were good but I'm not sure I would order that if I went back. Only because the balance of bread to fish ratio was so so. I think this combination could have been pronounced better with a sauce. We also ordered some egg rolls but again, their sushi was so good, had I to do over again I would have saved all my stomach space for another roll instead of the appetizer. The sushi was 5 stars +, the egg rolls 3.5*, and the soft shell crab 3.5. The mango tango roll had so many flavors going on I did not even want to use the soy sauce as it may overpowered all of the other delicate flavors happening within the roll. Same with the crazy monkey, loved the cashews and sauces and did not want to overpower the delicate flavors with soy sauce. The service was attentive to all of our needs. We also had Yuki Sake and that was delicious with a slightly sweet taste but not overwhelming. I would go back there in a heartbeat for their sushi and service.Rolls: Mango Tango, Crazy MonkeyWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to the sidewalk.“

“I found this restaurant on Yelp! What a great find! The inside is spacious. They have small curtain like partitions for privacy between tables. So far, I've been here twice. Both visits have gone well. This hot pot restaurant is shabu shabu style. You are given a slip and check off all the ingredients that you would like to put in your broth. The beef is cut fresh when you order it. I've tried the sichuan broth and the tom yum broth. They've been flavorful. I love adding tofu and potato vermicelli along with veggies and beef. Customer service is great. The waitress is attentive and friendly. She checks on you often and makes sure your cup is always full of water or your preferred drink. I also like how they are open late as this cold weather makes me crave hot pot. I'm looking forward to trying a new combination.“

“I had the Peking Duck Combo Meal twice, both times takeout and they were very good and tasty. The location was previously a Korean fast food and that’s why you see reviews of Korean food mixed in here. Google should really fix this problem.Back to the Duck Palace. The duck was well seasoned and delicious. The meat was carved out with both skin and meat so it is not just skin only. This is just another style of eating Peking Duck, not more or less “authentic “ as I had both styles in China, in Beijing no less. The combo meal comes with a Duck soup, first time it was real good, the second time I think the cook tipped the whole bottle of pepper in it ?. The carcass of the duck, mainly the neck and leg bones, were deep fried and they are surprisingly tasty, excellent when washed down with a cold beer.“

“I like the place. They have fresh food, vegetarian and vegan options like soy beef, soy chicken and vegetarian egg rolls, rice rolls with mushrooms and tofu. However the rolls were a little light on fillings. I would have liked to see them completely rolled like a burrito, as pictured, but they came like a wrap, open on both ends, or they came apart upon eating. So, something to make them stay together better. $9 for two small rolls could have had more to them.“
