“Samosas and paratha first dishes were very good. Samosas were large and not over oily. House noodles was middling. Curries and basil pork were very good. Tea salad was tasty but a small portion. Fairly expensive with the mandatory service charges. Service is uneven quality. Outdoor eating area can be very noisy with the hard, low ceiling and the car traffic very close by.“

“My friend recommended this coffee shop and I was interested in trying it out! A negative off the bat is there is no private parking so going on a Sunday was probably not the best idea. I ordered an iced oat matcha and my sister got the oat iced chai latte. I asked for it to be sweetened but for my taste it wasn't as sweet and the matcha actually became overpowering and bitter. The chai was good though and had a nice level of cinnamon to it. The space is a bit small so I would go when it's a weekday or not as busy to work there. I would consider trying the coffee and croffles next time I'm in the area“

“The ambience is not great but the food and service totally make up for it. The dosas are fresh and very good. We asked for the masala on the side and they were great about it. We also enjoyed lamb, naan, biryani, and chicken tikka masala. All were delicious! Some of us had the chai and some had lassi and we all enjoyed the drinks. The portions were quite good I thought. Definitely worth trying if you are nearby and like Indian food.“

“EXCEPTIONAL. We attended a private event here and our group was so impressed with Leland's. The ambiance, the food was delicious and each staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful! The house-blend we bought, "Smokin Kookie," is one of the most unique tea flavors I've ever tasted... a black tea with a delightful smoky aroma. Charming and highly recommended establishment. We will definitely be back!“

“It was fun going during the soft opening of Palmetto Superfoods in Burlingame (there are other locations in the Metreon, on Union Street, and on Clement Street in San Francisco, with another planned for Santana Row). I learned a lot by speaking with the super friendly and deservedly-proud owner. This location in Burlingame is a really cool little spot diagonally across from Safeway and has a sweet public rooftop sitting area. And I love that everything is plant-based except the honey and bee pollen, but they have a vegan apple honey — which is absolutely delicious — as a superior substitute. Anyway, with a choice of bowls (and smoothies), one could choose a set one on the menu or customize everything with unlimited bases and toppings — as long as it fits in whatever size bowl you choose (yup, I totally went large). I opted for the Bay Blend, but swapped out the strawberries (not really my thing) for toasted coconut flakes (most definitely my thing). The bowl was quickly layered by the friendly employee, who looked like she was excited for her next opportunity to surf, at least in my imagination. From the açaí, pitaya/dragonfruit, and chia pudding on the bottom to the banana and almond butter in the middle to the granola, blueberries, and toasted coconut, etc. on top, it was scrumptious and satisfying. Wanting to try a little more deliciousness, I decided to take a Midnight Beach smoothie to go. Now that I’m gone, I know I’ll be back!“

“This is a cozy cafe located on Burlingame's main avenue. The drinks are pretty good and the pastries worth trying. The service isn't bad considering how busy it can get. There are some indoor and outdoor tables but dining in isn't always guaranteed. I recommend checking this place out especially on a warm day. Parking on the street is limited but there are metered spots in the area.“
“I love supporting small businesses and this place is the Best! I love their Lavazza cappuccino and pastries especially the cannolis! Got to try the vegetariana sandwich today and it was the best vegetarian sandwich I’ve had! Super cute spot and very kind people!“

“I was recommended to try a Mediterranean restaurant of a very similar name. Did not read carefully and ended up here. Was not disappointed at all. Friendly and quick service. Delicious food, good portions. We tried the dolmas, chicken gyro and lamb and beef gyro. Clean and bright space. Mother gave an A+ for clean bathroom. Worth a save for repeat visit!“

“Stopped in yesterday for the first time. There was barely anyone there and it felt like our server neglected us. Our food and drinks came out promptly but she never came by to see how everything was or if we wanted to order more drinks. She was standing at the bar talking to another worker for quite some time while we waited and waited. Ended up stopping another server going by to grab her for us. Otherwise, the food and drink flights we had were pretty good. I would still go back again.“

“Very sweet cafe! I had the lox sandwich and an almond latte and it was so tasty! The staff is incredibly friendly. I’m just visiting Burlingame, and I have watched them recite from memory almost everyone’s order as they have walked in the door. That’s hospitality! I will be back!“

“Two of us had the $75 chef's tasting menu plus a wine pairing. Things got off to a great start with a tiny devilled egg as an amuse bouche which burst with flavor (a little odd for a plant-based establishment, though) - after that, things weren't quite as good. Everything was competently done; some of it was quite tasty - but more of "that's interesting" rather than "wow", with a slight tendency towards chewy. Timing was a little off: the first 3 courses arrived very quickly - before we'd finished the last one - and then there was a very long wait for the agnolotti, which were at best lukewarm. We had two servers; the first was so-so (e.g., he forgot to give us the tasting menu list); the second was amazing, and almost made up for the first. Sparkling or still water is included in the tasting menu. The $45 wine pairings were pretty good, although the two salad dishes were served together as one course, so we were expecting one more glass of wine, given the initial description from server #1. (We could have seen this if we'd had the menu to follow along with.) The venue is a striking, tall, remodelled barn-like building, with a fun buzz from the fellow diners. (There's a separate bar next door.) The temperature was a bit cool, though - and there were drafts when the doors opened. It seemed accessible. The bathrooms are worth a look, if only for the amazing marble washbasin centerpiece. We were glad we tried the place, and might well come back - but probably not for a while.“

“Recently started enjoying americanos with a little cream. But the Shakerato from Equator is a GAME CHANGER for me! It's 2 shots of espresso, dark brown sugar and heavy cream, shaken until frothy. It is so delicious and the perfect little 8oz coffee! I crave these more than I'd like to admit. Tastes a lot more like coffee than sugar like Starbucks. 10/10 recommend this gem.“

“Love this place, food is amazing, atmosphere is great. But today our table was refused on time service thanks to Anna Marie ( I know what happened there). Special gratitude for Louie, who tried his best and fixed the situation. I have never seen a professional who was as dedicated as him at the workplace. Four stars only because of Anne.“

“I’m Thai and my family was in the restaurant business so I know Thai food. Our group of over 10 people dined here today. Food was great. It was a team event so we requested a prix fixe menu and budget control. The restaurant was very responsive and go above and beyond to help us with the arrangements. The menu options was good. We had some vegans in the group and vegan options were good too. Everyone in my team loved it. Thank you for a wonderful evening!“

“My friend and I had dinner at Twelvemonth last night and it was an amazing experience! There are several parking lots in the downtown area, as well as street parking. The theming and decor here is so cute and would be great for a date night! We sat inside next to a big tree, and the whole vibe inside was amazing and felt upscale. I can't wait to come back here during the warmer weather and sit outside! They also have a bakehouse around the corner, but I don't believe it was open when we went around dinnertime. Everything here is vegan, and although I'm not vegan, I truly did not miss the meat at all and thought all of the food we tried was flavorful and delicious! We started with the crispy maitake mushrooms, which were so chewy, crispy, and flavorful! They had hot nash seasoning, pickles, and whipped ranch, and they came with a delicious dipping sauce which was equally as yummy. I had the Winter Chopped Salad as my entree, but I asked for feta instead of the blue cheese. It was such a delicious salad that I'd definitely order again, but I'd probably pair it with another entree, as I was still a little hungry afterwards. I also had the Windfall mocktail which was refreshing and light! I really enjoyed it. My friend ordered the spaghetti and a glass of wine and enjoyed them both! The servers were very attentive and our water glasses were never empty. They also answered any questions we had and were very friendly! Side note- the restrooms are also so cool here! I recommend checking them out! (I didn't take any pictures but they are so cute and very clean!) I never though I'd drive out of my way to go to a vegan resturant, but I'd do it again! I can't wait for my next visit to Twelvemonth!“

“This is a contender for sushi sophistication in the SF Bay Area. Each item I had was just perfect: all nigiri cuts were spot-on for an incredible experience: fresh but not hard-fresh, melt-in-your-mouth buttery yet not past-its-prime, just perfect! Becky, my server, went so much out of the way to guide me through the menu and it paid off: I ordered items I would have missed without her help. This is one of those rare sushi-heaven spots that any enthusiast would be delighted to find! 6 stars!“

“I came here couple weeks ago with my family. Let me just say the food was amazing. We got the Arugula Salad with Strawberry balsamic and it was very delicious. “Wonderful service, DELICIOUS food and the best views! I was so glad my company put me in the area. I had the exotic cocktail (which was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while), The calamari which they also put fried artichoke in it *chefs kiss* and those sauces!!! My goodness the SAUCES separate or together my taste buds were very happy. Last but never least the lobster bisque…. I about picked up the bowl and licked it clean…. Perfectly seasoned, buttery, creamy, mmm mmm mmm!! I can’t wait to come back…after your meal you can walk it off with the 360 views of just beautiful scenery“

“The pizzas are very good, as are the arancini and salads. The soft serve for the affogato had a weird tart/sour flavor as if it was frozen yogurt, so it did not work well with espresso. It used to be better. The service staff are friendly, but still learning the nuisances of how to serve… touching and moving around your used salad plates on the table to clean the table and then leaving them there for you to reuse, yuck! I can tell they are trying, but missing the mark. The noise level of the music inside makes for a very uncomfortable experience! It was hitting 100 db!! See my photo of the reading I got. This is not a healthy level for the service staff either, this level can lead to noise-induced hearing loss. It’s as loud as a nightclub, but looking at the clientele, there are many families and older people, so they aren’t catering to their client base. And they play terrible indie pop!! Italian pop would at least make more sense. You can’t hold a conversation and it gave me a headache. The ambiance otherwise inside is nice, as far as decor, and the open kitchen. I forgot how loud it was there, so I will only return if it’s warm enough to sit outside.Vegetarian options: Salads, pizzas, appetizers, pasta“
