“After church, the family decided to go out and grab a bite to eat. We checked out a local spot in Carson and it was a pleasant surprise. I've drove pas this restaurant for years and never went in until now. The staff is very friendly, attentive and give quality service. The food was delicious. I went with the shrimp & grits with a voodoo ranger beer on the side. Now that I know this spot exists, I will definitely be back for more.“

“It's rather amusing that I worked about 10 minutes away from Top Shelf for 19 years and it wasn't until I retired a few years back that I finally made it here. I was across the street at Scottsdale quite often to visit the parents of "challenging" students but never realized a gastronomic paradise was waiting across the street. Man oh man, I had been missing out. I ordered the Al Pastor burrito wet and let me tell you, it was delicious. Not a huge burrito but a generous amount of food. The sauce was flavorful and I appreciated the fact it had just the right amount of salt unlike the majority of the other places I've frequented lately. It was the best burrito I've had in ages. My wife's protein bowl with shrimp met with her satisfaction and happily had a decent quantity of shrimp unlike many other Mexican restaurants we've gone to recently. I ordered the strawberries and cream dessert but was too full to eat it so it will have to wait until later. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. No complaints about service whatsoever. The shopping center has more than enough parking so that isn't an issue. I'm not sure I would visit at night unless you feel safe going into an area with its fair share of troublemakers in the area after dark though. Top Shelf turned out to be just as advertised. I only wish I had tried them much further back in time. I would have made better use of the time I had when I was working in the area.“

“Stopped in for Cheeseburger Special and it was my first time eating here. They don’t cook the fries enough but luckily I was able to request it. What I really enjoyed is the excellent customer service and patience. The ladies were so sweet no attitude at all and it really means a lot. I would definitely stop here again. “I had been coming here for years, but I moved away. This is my first time back here in almost 8 years, the inside has not changed, but still inviting... the food is delicious as always! “This place serves authentic mexican food, if you want to have a taste of original Mexican food, I hardly recommend to come here. Is a little bit of waiting time, but is because your food is prepared right at that moment. I give 20 out of 10 to this place.“

“I love this restaurant! I think they have some of the best seasoned tacos I've ever tasted. I literally only come to this mall to come here to eat. This is literally the only thing this whack mall has going for it is this restaurant lol. The tacos are on the pricier side but worth it.“

“Nice lil Mexican joint out the way. When ur frist walk in was not greeted. Would have be nice then told we had to order at the counter. It's a sit down restaurant. The super burrito was on point. Just wish the service would have been better. Not saying it's not a place to try. Once service is on ponit it would be a 5 star joint.“

“Holy mole! We popped off the 405 before getting on the 101 and this place is a gem! There was so much flavor in every dish. The rice and beans are better than my moms and I can honestly say I’ve never had better. The corn tortillas were made fresh for the enchiladas. The salsa was soo good. They should sell jars of it. I wanted to ask if they did but I was embarrassed. I’ll come back every time I’m in the area.“

“The best I'm not from poraki but the net is good I ate it today I went and said buddy give me a really good burrito I mentioned all the meats it's a little corner and very good even the sauce on top sir from Zacatecas I'm from Sinalo dr los mochis a little town that It didn't even leave Caitime on the map. “Ok service might be a bit on the slow, she’s one woman after all however. Wow does she deliver the goods. I was born there. Grew up here, so finding the flavor profile that hits every note is rare. “Absolutely delicious! Generous portions at a great price. My kid had nuggets and fries, the fries were literally perfect same with the nuggets, homemade flavor. I had green chicken enchiladas, they were smackin! My sister had a torta, and she said it was amazing. It’s a nice little place, friendly staff and you can tell they put their heart into their food. They have the big mexican cokes too!Parking: Parking is prt of the little strip mall. There’s even more parking if you go past the restaurant, kind of on the side/behind-ish area.Kid-friendliness: It’s a small place with two options for kids food. She loved it!Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of disabled parking spots, no high curbs, you can roll right on in.“

“The best impromptu breakfast my best friend and I could ever have! We were supposed to go to Starbucks which is right next door but we decided to have breakfast at Chile Verdes instead. Great decision! The Huevos Rancheros was excellent! We had a couple of crispy tacos And a side of guacamole with A beautiful hibiscus drink. Sooooooo good! And let me not forget about the beautiful service that we got from the cashier. I didn't see a name tag and I should have asked her name but we went there Sunday Morning January 29th around 10ish. She was such a pleasure! We did thank her in person but I wanted to say here that I thank her so much for her warm inviting personality. Great job sweetheart. We'll be back“

“Quick decision to pull into this place, what a pleasant a surprise it was. The tortillas are homemade, which did not make the wait any worse knowing what was coming our way. My son had the carne asada tacos with house made guacamole which is not to be missed. My wife and I shared birria tacos which were fantastic topped with melted Monterey Jack cheese and a side of consume. We will be back!“

“Excellent service. Got a double tip. I like an engaging waiter whom really shows you they want you to be there and enjoy yourself. My son and I had a great time at the bar with warm (yep warm) chips. With a mild salsa and Guacamole. My salad was good. My sons must’ve been better. “Clean friendly and delicious. I got the asada burrito with everything. They also have the wet option if you prefer. For the price and size I'm definitely coming back. “Went here on a weekday around 5 P.M and ordered their Consome Presidencial and Enchilada de Pollo. You get a complimentary basket of chips and salsa when dining in. They had both booth seating, bar seating, and tables. My server Lulu was lovely and gave me plenty of time to order and constantly refilled my drinks! It only took about fifteen minutes turnaround for my food to arrive from the time it was ordered. Lots of music and ambient lighting as well for the atmosphere.
