“We were in the area and decided to try a new sushi spot and it did not disappoint. The sushi was fresh and tasty, but it was the service that will definitely bring us back. Our server Madison was sweet, knowledgeable and provided service excellence. Madison gave us space to enjoy our meal, but was right there when we needed anything. We have picky kids and her suggestion of teriyaki chicken & rice convinced them to try something new. We will definitely be back!“

“I've only ever visited the original location and was super excited to find out that there was another location opening up locally. Every time I wanted to dine here the line was very long and I opted to try another time. Today there was no line which is lucky fit me because I can't HUNGRY. You order at the front of the store and you sit down after. This was already different from the original location. The menu was also very different than what I remember. It was definitely not stroller friendly. Only 4 tables at the end caps could work with a stroller and thankfully one of those were empty when I arrived. We got two blaze ramens, one mild and one medium. The mild was surprisingly spicy. The ramen wasn't the best I had and no where near as good as the original location but it was still pretty tasty! The service was great snd everyone was so friendly.“

“My husband and I are creatures of habit but we decided to try this ramen spot out for the first time. The servers were super friendly and fast. The chicken karaage and ramen came out hot! They also gave us complimentary edamame, which is cool. I'm definitely going to tell our friends and family about this little spot. Plus, the cat robot who runs the food was entertaining to watch.“

“Bowl House is fantastic. Service was on-par and the owners go beyond what you expect. I ordered 34 garlic sesame chicken plates and (some sides for me potstickers with ponzu - awesome, shrimp plate - awesome) - and requested all 34 plates to be prepared by a certain time. Not only was it ready, packed, but William and his wife helped me bring the boxes to my van. All 34 plates were eaten and University of Redlands Mens Water Polo players and coaches. They were super thankful. If I am in La Verne, I would come back to Bowl House. It is in kind of an old town La Verne area where you can park and walk around and visit the local shops. Parking was easy. Thank you so much!“

“Went here for the first time today. Was a late lunch and we were the only customers there. My wife ordered the Chnpon ramen I had the fried chicken ramen. We were served promptly by the efficient server. Both our dishes were flavorful and generous portions. Hard to understand the few reviewers who felt the food was bland. My wife has visited Japan and felt this was an authentic Japanese Raman . This is our go to ramen place. Highly recommended!“

Music is also fun!The waiter gave us detailed instructions on how to order. You'll have to scan the QR code on your table. This will bring up the menu, just input the amount of people in your party, and instant access to order for your table.What did we order?Drinks:•Iced Passionfruit Green Tea - Light, not too sweet, and very refreshing!•Iced Lychee Green Tea - Also very refreshing, that perfect balance between the lychee and tea.Appetizers:•Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice - The tuna itself was delicious, the crisp on the rice was great, the sauce had a slight sweetness to it that kinda threw me off. Now does that mean it's bad? No, just not my personal preference.•Fried Soft Shell Crabs - Pure perfection, the crabs were crunchy, and super flavorful by itself. “Stopped by for lunch on a weekday and was seated right away. The waitress was so sweet and even though she was alone, always had a smile and gave amazing service. Got the classic noodle (spicy), which also comes with rice at the end to mix the rest of the sauce. The noodles are so bouncy, chewy, and soaked up the amazing flavor of the sauce. It also had a good kick to it since I got it spicy. So happy to have found an amazing spot to eat near home!“

“Very Good Service. Amazing food, friendly atmosphere. I go here for lunch occasionally dinner. As good as the food is I can never finish the bowl of PHo. When I take home leftovers, they do an excellent job of separating the noodles and broth and packaging it for me. Highly recommend. One of the only places in Claremont where you can also watch the game and have tasty appetizers.“

“Let's talk ramen first. The broth is a masterpiece - rich, flavorful, and comforting. The noodles have a perfect chewiness. It's not just a meal; it's a comforting experience that transports you to ramen heaven. I also love the sushi as well. I aways choose either the baked roll or the lobster roll, it pretty much depends on what I am craving for this day. I am coming back this weekend so that my family can enjoy some good ramen.“

“Food is great. Prices are fair especially for the rolls I think they are very nicely priced and they put a good amount of fish in them. Service is hot or miss but that can be said for any place. It’s very clean inside and overall had a great experience. Been here a few times both done in and take out. Take out was super easy and quick. I will be coming back.“

“We've been looking for a good ramen spot in the area without having to venture too far and glad we found this place. It's a cute shop with friendly staff and ramen cooked perfectly. We ordered: - Shoyu ramen -Tonkatsu black - Gyoza (can never go wrong with this) - Sunomono (I liked that they used some mixed greens and is actually a good appetizer salad type dish) - Tofu nuggets (we did not know what to expect but was pleasantly impressed by this) Overall it was a great experience and we will come back again.“

“Everything their soup is delicious“

“This was our first time here and it was so good. We had the chicken gyoza (nice and crispy with a good amount of filling), creamy shrimp roll (my favorite), baked scallop roll (scallops were really well-cooked), and the adult roll (tasty, but could have used a tiny bit of sauce). We also had blue fin tuna maki and they put a lot of fish in it, and it was very fresh. The sushi was nicely rolled so it didn’t fall apart when you picked it up. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was sweet and professional. Will definitely be coming back.“

“I've come here many times for the Poki, but recently tried the ramen and was not disappointed! Both the regular tonkotsu and the miso tonkotsu have bouncy noodles and a rich, satisfying broth. And a generous serving of pork, which I enjoyed immensely. The interior is very a straightforward design, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. They were great at answering all of my ramen topping questions, lol! Will be back for more.“

“Found my new sushi spot in Ontario or Rancho. I come from LA and one of the things that I look for is a sushi chef who is over the age of 35. I learned that it takes at least 12 years to become a true sushi chef. I also like the set up with the sushi bar and I can tell that, this is an authentic place. I ordered two different tempura sushi rolls and I loved them. I will definitely be trying all my favorites plus the chef specials whenever I can. I ordered food to go but I do love the interior decor and ambience. One thing I don't miss about LA is how crowded restaurants are since 90% of people don't cook. I was able to get my food in less than 20 minutes.One of the rolls was so huge that it was hard to eat, so they definitely don't skimp on the serving size. I think I'm gonna make this a weekly stop.I took really good pictures of the menu so that you guys can easily choose the sushi that you like based on the pictures.“

“I've had this a few times here, perfect for late flights when everything is closed. Hell I like it better than the other restaurants in this terminal. They hid it in the corner near gate 401 as of Jan 2023, but that won't stop me. You have to get resourceful with the utensils though since they removed the little tray of them it had nearby.“

“Love this place. They have small/medium/large plate options. This is my favorite place to go to for poke. The other poke place nearby gives bigger portions but Pokeology is much better quality.“

“Food was really good. Had shoyu ramen, it tasted light but flavorful. The portion was very big. I have had better ramen, better egg, better mushrooms, but for the price you get a nice portion so that's why I give this 5 stars because I would come back again. The chasu also tasted very unique.“

“One of the best sushi restaurants I've tried hands down. First the ambience gives you calm and chill Tokyo vibes. Soft lighting and ample room. I went here on a first date after a long wait at Chubby Cattle KBBQ. After signing in at about 8:30pm on a Friday night we were seated no less than 20 minutes later. We were at the bar (which I prefer to watch the sushi chef at work) and he was very entertaining and had an amazing conversation as well. Now to the food, the appetizers were 7/10 as we ordered the mixed tempura, which was good but not anything to brag about, the crab cakes were lackluster and the baked green mussels were the standout but maybe because of the sauce. Now the rolls were a 9/10, my favorites being the truffle hunter which is topped with razor thin sliced raw onion giving it a cut between the earthiness of the truffle oil and also the red dragon roll which was amazing with tuna and garnished with fire and raw garlic. The Cajun roll was surprisingly good. It has the after taste of Tams fries seasoning. The Jessica albacore was fresh, spicy and well balanced it was a specialty roll. Also if you buy 4 rolls of the regular sushi menu(specialty rolls not included) you get 50% off the sushi rolls. We also ordered the Baked Scallop roll, which wasn't bad at all. It was just a generic version of the roll. Thats the only reason they got a 9/10 on the sushi. The pricing was not bad at all. Very worth the price. The customer service. Was stellar. I just noticed I forgot they had ramen. I'll be updating once I've had it.“

“fried chicken ramen is my favorite“

“I've ordered vegetarian ramen from many restaurants through LA county. My dietary restrictions make it tough to find a robust veggie ramen that's flavorful and filling. I doordashed the Tonya Flame ramen & it was amongst the best ramen I've had. I was surprised that it was so good in despite it being delivered. I plan to visit the restaurant in person to try more of the veggie options in the coming future“

“Suuuper tasty ramen. Very flavorful and I felt like the portions were very good. I got the tonkotsu ramen spicy level 6 and it was actually spicy just how I like it. You can choose a spice level that ranges from 1-10. I think I found my new ramen spot!“

“I recently tried the Tonkotsu Spicy Black at Yoshiharu Ramen, and it was a delightful experience. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles achieved that perfect al dente texture that's essential for a great bowl of ramen. The attentive service, particularly from the waitress, added to the positive experience. The ambient atmosphere, complemented by really nice music, created a vibe that made me feel younger. Overall, a fantastic combination of taste, service, and ambiance. Highly recommended!“

“It's better than 3 stars but it doesn't quite meet 4 stars but we'll give 4 for now. Service is good and it has nice and clean restaurant environment although we'd say it's hard to mess up the vibe of a sushi restaurant. They all look similar. Food is mediocre. Portions could be better for the price. Flavor is okay but too much rice. We'll give it a try again for other selections and decide further.“

“The ramen is delicious, I always order the Kotsu kick...it's spicy enough to not want to try the spicier one. We always order the Chicken Karaage which is the best! My fiancé loves the Chicken Karaage bowl and steals some of my ramen soup to add a little spice. Service is great with the staff there and the robot adds a cute little touch. They have tap beer and sake which is great and their tap beer selection is pretty good. My one complaint :-( can you please make a ramen with no protein ...I always want to order the Kotsu kick with no meat and they make me pay full price if I take the protein out. Not everyone enjoys protein in their ramen please add something to ur menu where the protein can be removed and not be charged for protein when it's not wanted. I would have given 5 stars if they had that option.“
