“I will never eat at another sushi place again, especially in this area ! Kisetsu is the real deal. The fish is EXTREMELY fresh and the best quality I have had in a number of years. The service is superb and the owner Joel and team bring a fun vibe while in a nice cozy setting. I can't say enough about how good the food is here and a bonus is the affordable price points ! My friend who doesn't historically eat sushi now eats sushi after eating here! We can't wait to come back very soon. Thank Joel and team for such a great experience !“

“Very Good Service. Amazing food, friendly atmosphere. I go here for lunch occasionally dinner. As good as the food is I can never finish the bowl of PHo. When I take home leftovers, they do an excellent job of separating the noodles and broth and packaging it for me. Highly recommend. One of the only places in Claremont where you can also watch the game and have tasty appetizers.“

“I was visiting Botanic Garden in Claremont this past weekend. Afterwards, I shopped at Trader Joe's (TJ) and picked up some chicken kabobs from Boca Burger. I promised my eldest daughter that I would buy a poke bowl for her. At first, I thought of Oh Poke which would have been closer since it was in the same center as where TJ was located. But I've already tried it a long time ago. I looked on Yelp to see where else has poke bowls. Poke Dot came up and it was less than or about a mile away so that was my next stop. Thank you Yelp!!! Poke Dot is within the Claremont Village. It's actually on Indian Hill Blvd. There are small parking lots and street parking available. This poke joint has a bright and inviting ambiance. No one was in here when I arrived which was great for me so I can take lots of photos. Staff was super friendly and nice. I needed a minute to check out their fishes and toppings. Everything was very fresh. I couldn't help myself and got two large poke bowls. Each bowl comes with 5 scoops. Price was on the higher end of $19.95 per large bowl compared to other poke places that I've been to. But that didn't stop me from getting them LOL. I asked to try the brown rice and the gentleman was nice to give me a small sample cup of it. It was piping hot right out of the rice cooker. It was soft and fluffy. I was SOLD! Both poke bowls pretty much had the same ingredients except for the base where mine had half brown rice and half salad. My daughter got all white rice. As for the fishes, I went with 3 scoops of salmon and 2 scoops of tuna. They also had albacore, shrimp, scallop, octopus, spicy tuna, and tofu. As for toppings, I got everything that was there... cucumbers, onions, cilantro, jalapeños, original and spicy crab meat, and avocados. As for crunches, I got everything, too... tempura, hot cheetos, fried onions, masago, seaweed seeds, and furikake. Lastly, topped with seaweed salad, edamame beans, ginger, and wasabi. As for sauces, I got them on the side... spicy mayo, medium spice house sauce, and cilantro twist. That was a whole lot of goodness. The lady had a hard time sealing the bowls... they were that full. I love the over the top poke bowl. Hey, there's a new label for it. My poke bowl was so full that I had to pick at each corner slowly. It was so fresh and delicious! The only gripe is that a few of the salmon chunks had muscle tissue attached. No big deal. I would definitely be back here for more tasty poke bowls. But next time, I may just have the whole bowl mixed in with the sauces. Highly recommend this Poke Dot!!!“

“I've been coming to this Sizzler since high school but moved out of the area 20 years ago. Now that I'm back in the area and revisited with my family, it's still a restaurant that pleases even my pickiest eaters. Special thanks to our amazing server, Susana, who was very attentive and accommodating of our needs. Susana made our eating experience even better. Food tastes better when you have great service like Susana's. The only thing about the food that my husband complained about was that some of the taco meat was cooler than expected at the salad bar. I had no complaints and neither did my kids, so three out of four isn't bad. Thanks again to Sizzlers for great service and good food on a busy Saturday night!“

“We had not been in years, but meet some friends for dinner. We sat in a corner table in the back of the restaurant next to the window looking at the pond which was and relaxing. We ordered the potato skins for and appetizer, our friends ordered the prime rib and ribeye, my wife ordered the ribeye and I ordered the porterhouse. We all thought the entrees were excellent. Our friends and my wife were excited to have salad bar and tried it, and was not disappointed. Our server was very attentive and we did not wait for anything. Our experience was amazing after not being there for years. We all agreed that we would be back.“

If your staying at the hotel show a room key and get 10% off your receipt! I ordered the lemon garlic crab and shrimp and glad I did perfect amount of everything and love the lemony flavor it brings the fries they used held up and stayed crispy without having a burnt flavor to it!!! Would recommend next time I'll try the wing my fav combo buffalo lemon pepper. And would try the buffalo chicken ranch!!! Or the surf and turf !!! Must try at least once.“

The servings for the shrimp tacos are very small , with beans and rice as a combination plate . I want to try everything off their menu, everything tasted very fresh . Was not fond of the rice , it's from a different region from Mexico . I'm a Spanish rice kind of girl , but it was still fluffy and good . I can't wait to come back !“

“The people and environment are so welcoming, and the food is beyond awesome. I got their fish taco, shrimp taco and potato taco, it was all excellent and they are pretty big too. My husband got their Baja taco which is on a flour tortilla and is excellent and their San Lucas ceviche and this thing is so hot but it is so mouthwatering delicious ?. We have definitely found our new seafood spot and will be going again soon to try their other food items. The price was also great for the quality and quantity of food you get. “It's been a couple years since I've had Taco Nazo and I'm so glad that I decided to pay them a visit. There's lots of new changes to their restaurant that make it feel more modern and upgraded. I came in during a dinner rush but was able to get my food in less than 10 mins! The asada burrito was delicious and packed with meat! You can also never go wrong with a couple of their fish and papa tacos either. Don't forgot to ask for their yellow chili peppers! Matt was awesome to talk to and offered the best customer service! He gives great suggestions and highly encouraged trying their homemade salsas. I'm not much of a salsa guy, but the green salsa was my favorite. Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area for some bomb Mexican food!“

“This is a really nice place for seafood. They have fixed price menu and market price market. I asked for non-spicy option and the server recommended the garlic butter sauce which was very delicious. The shrimp and crawfish portion is what I expected but I was surprised (in a good way) to get 2 lobster tails with 1lb order! The service was great. Good vibes with sport playing too.“

I called and they asked to come back and my order was ready as soon as I arrived. Most people would not give 5 stars for missing items but the way it was handled shows exceptional service. They do not have a lot of options for Hawaiian BBQ but their sushi rolls and egg rolls are amazing.“

“Tiny spot in the colonies that someone recommended I check out. The shrimp taco was perfect; will definitely be returning for that. Service was fast and the food was hot (aside from oyster, which was room temp at best). Tables are prepped with hot sauce (red is yummy, and spiciest), tostada shells, and limes for your convenience. Plating is really cute with metal serving dishes and baskets. Plenty of table seating available and well-lit inside on a gloomy day. My $7 horchata was generously-sized and worth every cent. Only issue was the table and bottles were sticky upon arrival. I'm normally not a stickler for things like that, but when it's something like tacos... the sticky was a turn off. I'd pick up a to-go order from here any darn day though.“
