“We had a private event at Stanley's. It was amazing. The event staff helped plan the menu and the initial wine to set out. Many of the guests commented on the great food and great wine and the service was impeccable. The event planner, Danielle, was so helpful and was present the whole time to make sure things were going smoothly. We were so happy with how things turned out. I would not hesitate to have another event at Stanley's.“

“The foods are amazing … i had the salmon creamy pasta and i liked it so much, the salmon with cherry tomatoes are very refreshing , porcini and mushroom are the new favorites , but the black truffle was the most unforgettable one , once you taste it, it seems you are watching a classic italian movie. The employees are friendly and very accomodating. The atmosphere itself makes you feel like home.“

“This was an adorable place for pastries and lunch. There is free parking in the structure nearby, and paid street parking around. My partner and I split the Chilaquiles, which was phenomenal with fresh and crisp chips. The pastry we ordered was an apple danish of some sort, and that was delightful as well. You order in the front before self seating, and enjoying a laid-back time with yourself or your friends. The staff were super friendly. The prices were quite high, but understandable for the location and quality of food.“

“Chef Bernhard back in the kitchen again!Great news for LA fans of his truly stellar cooking. All the food was as fabulous as we remember from Bierbeisl. Lustig did not disappoint. Every dish was greeted with groans of delight. It is popular and can get loud inside, but the outside patio tables are nice and quiet. We've been back several times since it opened, and are going again soon.Very highly recommended.“

“Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. Thanks Bo❤️ I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic, excellent and delicious food. In addition, the place is so full of life. The decor is amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try some of the fancy drinks and dishes on the menu.“

“This place is very close to achieving what it's setting out to do: provide an elegant vegetarian dining experience. I think that might be hard to pull off in a strip mall however. The food and the art are fantastic but the interior design was poorly executed and comes off looking a little cheap. I went for my birthday but for the price this might have been a one time experience. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-06“

“AOC has always been a “go-to” restaurant for all the right reasons- food, food, food, service, service, service, ambience, ambience, ambience. I must have dined there +20 times and it just keeps getting better. And, NO, I was not paid for this review. I am particularly “gushing” with my comments this time because my wife and l are dealing with stressful external forces in our life and AOC provided a little quiet from the storm and performed perfectly in every way. One of the best meals we've ever had there. Kudos to all!“

“This is an L.A. bar with an NYC feel…post gentrification. A good place for an intimate situation or for bein’ a gaggle of gays and theys. Not sure about the pricing as I was treated to my libations, but the service was friendly. I appreciated the attentiveness. They have high tops on one side and soft seating on the other with bar seating in between the two.“

“normally when my gf wants to go get a nice dinner on the west side, I usually end up disappointed... places are often overpriced for mediocre, underflavored, uninteresting food. NOT THE CASE HERE! food was great! excellent spare ribs, and we got this whole fried fish that was mind blowing.... its served upright (really cool) and you just pick pieces of the perfectly fried flesh off and pop them in your mouth!!!! sooo good! and our server was outstanding... I was looking for a beer and asked him to make a suggestion... he asked if I was looking for a normal beer or something interesting. I said "interesting" and he brought me this beer (I forget the name )that was like halfway beetween beer and wine.... delish!!! takes balls to recommend a drink like that and I commend him! and dessert was excellent too!“

“Wow! This place is awesome! They certainly captivated the tight spaced dining experience just like it is in italy, (not sure if that was on purpose or coincidence) but it was spot on! When we first walked in, we were hesitant because it just looked like a bar because the entrance was just the bar area, but when we went inside we were meeted with a kind waiter who lead us to the dining area and got us started. The food is spectacular, and you couldn’t even tell it is a vegan restaurant! We got the grilled citrus herb tofu and that was so delicious and the sauce was so light and creamy. Love the addition of pesto as well. We also got the Polpettine appetizer which are basically just vegan meatballs and my god they were so good. Then our mains came out and I got the seasonal pasta menu item which was a pea and lemon herb creamy sauce pasta which was so flavorful and light and just perfect for the spring time. My mother got the eggplant parmigiana and she told me it was indeed delicious. This was the best restaurant i’ve been to in the area so far! But the bill certainly did hurt the bank, but the company and food was worth it.Vegetarian options: EVERYTHING. is vegetarianDietary restrictions: Best place to come to if you are vegan and/or cannot eat dairy“

“Angelini Osteria totally lived up to the hype! We had a great dinner there that night and I can't wait to go back again soon. Let's start with the star of this show: uni pasta. Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. The food is incredible, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes on the menu!“

“We've been here for dinner and brunch. One word: Exceptional in every way: Fantastic setting. Great service. Incredible menu and delicious food. Lovely Hwood views. Perfect ambiance, design and decor. Gorgeous decks, landscaping and rooftop lounge areas, restaurant and bar. Lemon Grove is one of my favorite places in all of LA. Just go. Grab a weekend brunch, go for dinner or just for a rooftop bar lounge and and drink. (Unlike some other roof top bars/restaurants in LA, this one has zero attitude - from either the staff and crowd. Just friendly, chill and pleasant. A+“

“I had been looking forward to trying Hatchet Hall for a while and went with my husband before a comedy show. There are a number of aspects of the experience that were lovely and some that make me wonder if I will be back. Food: 7/10 - Good but did not get wowed by anything! We got the cornbread which tasted like eggs (I hate eggs) so it was meh, the hush puppies were delicious, then we got a salad which had barely cut lettuce and was COVERED in dressing. We shared the oysters which tasted like cumin and cinnamon and the scallops which were delicious. Would love to come back with different things on the menu. Service: 6/10 - it was too much. Our waiter was nice and pretty knowledgeable but we only saw him occasionally. I really wish we did not see the busser as much as we did. He was ALWAYS at our table and reaching over to pour water. I get that they charge 20% for service but it took away from the dining experience a bit. Atmosphere: 8/10 super cute vibes and tucked away in a garden feel. We went for dinner at 6 and we were pretty cold when it ended because we sat in the outdoor section near the inside. One other weird thing is 2 bathrooms for all those guests- yikes. I also looked at a wall the entire time. Overall we enjoyed our time and the team was efficient but I did not leave wowed to come back, especially for the price point.“

“Such a cozy wine bar and they have good service and an intimate atmosphere overall. | P A R K I N G | Found parking along the street which was really convenient. Since it's located off 3rd street you'll find plenty of metered parking options, especially if you come a bit early. | S E R V I C E | Great service overall. Our waitress gave wonderful descriptions of both wine and food. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and great at what she does. | F O O D | Items we ordered were the olives and almonds ($10), crab fettuccini ($38), and the mussels ($28). *Olives were really tasty and not too salty. *Almonds have seasoning on them. *The crab fettuccine has a savory base as opposed to a cream base and is pretty tasty and fresh. * Mussels were okay and had to go back (a few had an odd taste) And some wine of course. They have one bottle of rose and it's pleasantly dry and not very sweet. Also fairly priced at $60.“

“Wonderful open-beam upstairs dining room filled with warm candlelight and hum of conversation, reminiscent of attic restaurants in old-world cities. Ragu's and pastas are delightful. Wines and ports are good value. The hostess was pleasant and the chief server knowledgeable. The whole experience would be further enhanced by perhaps a bit more training of the runners in presenting, setting, and removing dishes, as they seemed rather obtrusive, a little ham-handed, and rushed.“

“Great Food, Excellent Service, but Beware of Billing PracticesI've been to La Scopa Italian restaurant in Venice Beach multiple times and always enjoyed the great food. Our waitress, Noelles, was fabulous, attentive, and provided excellent service. However, I had an issue with the billing process. The manager on duty, Irene, seemed inefficient, and the billing system needs improvement. The convenient tips calculator is misleading, as it includes tax in the total. This means you're essentially paying tips on taxes, which isn't fair. Additionally, there was a discrepancy in my bill. The total was $76 plus $7 tax, which should have been $83 even. However, I was charged $83.22, which is 0.22 cents more than expected. If this practice is applied to all guests and parties, it could result in a significant amount of extra revenue for the restaurant at the end of the year. I hope La Scopa addresses this issue soon to ensure transparency and fairness in their billing practices.Overall, the food and service were great, but the billing experience left a sour taste. I hope they rectify this issue to maintain their excellent reputation.“

“It was our 1st time there. Smaller than it looks in pics so I'd say it's a quaint place. Only a couple beer choices but decent amount of wine choices. The food is shareable which I prefer. “Our entire party of 9 were completely satisfied with our dinner service. From the moment we were greeted by the kind door man to the beautiful Hostess all the way to our serving team, everyone was kind and attentive. I was a little nervous making such a large reservation online in my Open Table App. I usually prefer to speak with someone, so I was taking a chance. Also since we had a show to catch I made sure to include that in the notes. They actually read them and were ready to accommodate us!!! We arrived about 20 minutes early and we were able to make our show on time! The food and drinks were great! We will be back. Because of the easy curbside entry with Valet service, & the fact that they open before 5pm we will be adding this restaurant to our pre show preferred restaurant list. “This is a really nice location if you want to be in the luxury stores and restaurants. The rooms are lovely decorated. But... I do not recommend this hotel for you to stay, even if it is renewed and renowned, the staff at the terrace restaurant is slow and not really willing to help you, the only one really nice is BRYAN if you go ask for him.The room quality is ok the drapes do not close so you'll sleep with a ray of light, the pillows are awful and they can't do anything to solve the problem. At the valet only if you ask twice they will assist you. They have a lot of things to work on in order to be truly five stars. So far it is like an expensive four star hotel.Nearby activities: Just nearby activities.“
