“Solid milk tea spot with super friendly and fast service. They had a promo too and offered a great price for their extra large sized drinks. Rose vanilla milk tea with lychee jelly was a nice new drink to try.The free sample was also such a sweet touch and lifesaving for this momma running on empty.“

“Normally wouldn't review a place if I only ordered one small thing, but you know what, I got popcorn chicken that was fried fresh and came in big pieces + a huge tub. So I just wanted to put down that this place satisfies my popcorn chicken craving, and it's right in my city. Haven't tried a drink here, but I do think I'll mostly be sticking to getting fried goodies (especially popcorn chicken ahem) from here!“

“I've recently gotten into salted cheese drinks. It sounds disgusting, but it's really just l a sweet, slightly salty, whipped cream on top.I usually go to 85C because there's one where I live. I highly recommend their salted matcha latte.But, I was clued in that Happy Lemon is the original salted cheese beverage spot. I thought I'd check it out while I was waiting for a union meeting. I've had all of these things before, but not nearly as delicious. I did not know that bubble waffles could be so good! nor did I know how good salted cheese could be.I had the salted cheese green tea and it was light and refreshing and sweet and creamy. I involuntarily said, "OMG" when I took my first sip. It's that good. If you're into boba, I highly recommend checking out the OG spot. I have a feeling I spend a lot of my money here.“

“After a wonderful lunch with family, while we enjoy our walk at downtown, Tong sui catch our attention, so we decide to give it a try. The server is really nice and help us for the selection.We got Da hong pau tea latte and Osmanthus oolong tea latte. We both getting 50% sweetness (recommended) and less ice.Saw the special menu will come back again to try it.“

“Came here on a Thursday afternoon. No cashier there in the front at that time so we ordered by our phone (or use their tablets).I got the brûlée oat latte (50% sweetness and light ice), sunright fruit tea (0% sweetness and light ice), and white peach oolong tea with cheese foam (50% sweet and light ice). Definitely a fan of the brûlée oat latte, though it doesn't taste like crème brûlée, and more like puff cream. However it was super tasty! The fruit tea is pretty good with a touch of sweetness even at 0%, probably from natural fruit. The skin of the oranges give a small hint of bitterness but it's still solid. The white peach is also delicious and on the less sweet side but enjoyed as tea is suppose to be light. Price is also very reasonable with drinks ranging from $5-$7 too. Love the spot and would recommend and return :)“

“You wont be able to get to the location jnless you have a flight but such a great interaction with the workers. They are all so sweet and kind. I orders a 2 entree meal and it was so much food. The beef was tender and savory, the pansit and lumpia was amazing, the chicken curry is a little spicy but overall very flavorful and I got some soup which was refreshing! The spoon isn't very helpful so I just drank it from the cup. They also have boba available!“

“This is a really spacious location compared to other locations they have in the area. Many tables for seating! A few people were waiting for their drinks and socializing. Cozy little spot. This is conveneient across from Ramen Nagi and Son & Garden as well.I recommend the Mango Mochi Coconut Pudding and the Jasmine Coconut Pudding! These are my favorites, but definitely get pricey. For drinks, my go-to is the Da Hong Pao (DHP) Latte with Jelly! Very fragrant tea, but still creamy from the milk. A well balanced milk tea.“

“I've always liked happy lemon since their taste of all the happy lemon drinks in different branches have always stayed consistent. It's my first time at this particular location & I came at a slow time during mid day which is nice since the other locations I've been usually gets packed. The ambiance of this location is so nice since it's so clean inside & it's located near a lot of different food chains. Totally would go back to this location.“

“I think this place is very nice and welcoming. The food was amazing as well. There is nothing I would say is bad about this place. My mom brought me here as like a mother daughter date and I think it was a great choice. I see a lot of families eating here and celebrating. “No frills Asian drinks place. Not for sit down (although the anime posters and toys on the walls are fun) but strong mix of options. Would highly recommend preordering via Snack pass app (to avoid the wait). Only downside side is not only is there no place to sit at the site, but there's not really any place to sit outside unless you take tables/chairs allocated to the Laundromat or the Wingstop“

“Love Rare Tea, its popcorn chicken and various milk drinks! Plus the location is so perfect by not having to drive downtown to get my popcorn chicken fix! Fast friendly service with ample parking to boot! Forget driving downtown and cater to this great place instead! Highly recommend“

“Originally I came to try their Taro 2.0 drink but it seems to always be out of stock.....My second choice was the Oreo Matcha which I really liked. Boba was nice and chewy. Alterations to non-dairy milk is included, which I appreciate since most places charge extra. However I think ~$8 is a bit pricy, especially for the smaller sized cup. If they ever replenish their Taro drink I shall return.“

“TLDR: high quality tasty tea with great bobaI got the tie guan yin milk tea with boba for $6 and it came out within 2 minutes. The milk tea was silky and creamy, the boba was soft and chewy. The tea flavor was very strong and even at 50%, the sweetness was a bit strong but still very good and enhanced the flavor of the drink. Would definitely come back to try some other drinks“

“We tried their signature purple rice yogurt dessert and were pleasantly surprised by its delicious taste! The rice, seemingly cooked in coconut milk and brown sugar (our unconfirmed guess), adds a delicate flavor that pairs well with the plain vanilla yogurt. Very unique flavor based on about 10yr of Boba enjoyment . Love it. It's a reason it's signature. I had 2 if not 3. Great way to cool down and I'm sure the rest of the drinks are just as great.Seating is good and it can get crowded. There is online ordering and kiosk.Parking: Park a block away at the street lots. No parking on this busy street. Plus side it's very walkable.“

“Been to different boba guys at many different locations and I got exactly what I expected from this location. I usually get the Matcha Strawberry drink, but opted for the brown sugar hojicha today. I wish the hojicha flavor was a bit stronger, but it was a solid drink overall. The location itself is massive and has a lot of seating.“

“Ordered 11 mins after opening via the kiosk at the front and it took 20 minutes to receive two drinks. We played some games while we waited so there's a chill vibe. I would not come here if you're trying to get a quick fix. There are a bunch of other milk tea places in the area that doesn't take nearly as long. The drinks are unique and good so it's definitely worth trying if you are planning a visit“

“Nice and friendly staff! Got the last mochi donut. Come before 4PM on weekends if you want to have flavor options. Best mochi donut in the area. Stir-fry boba is great texture but on the sweet side. They have crystal boba as well if you don't want sweet. Great instagram photo spots inside and outside the store!“

“This is a small shop without seating, so it’s all take out. I ordered a couple of drinks, the Brown Sugar, and Cream Tea. The Brown Sugar was tasty, but the Cream Tea was a bit disappointing (tasted weird). The ordering process was easy, you can order on a touch screen there, or you can order through an app called Snackpass (1st time purchase gets a small discount for their 1st drink). I opted for the app since I saved a little on my first order.“

“Ordered for pick up and this was my first time to this tea shop. Cute little whole in the wall type of shop. They are actually open late which is super convenient and you actually have to park and walk down past the barricade on B street to get to the shop. Friendly staff when I walked in to pick up my order. The vibes are nice in there and they also have a self serve machine.They have some cute decorations and the cups are super cool, original and authentic. Their tea is freaking DELICIOUS! Will call this place my spot when ever I'm here in San Mateo. ?“

“Quality milk tea and yummy quality boba but you pay a steep price and your time (waiting for a drink). The wait can be up to 25-30 mins on average. I guess the smart ones order online and pick up in the store! We got a regular size, prob 12 oz for $6.50! Ordered: Brown sugar boba milk. Will be back!“
