“My favorite place in Foster City by far! Its a quick walk from my office and a nice place as most of the seats are outside. The salmon risotto comes with a salad and a piece of whole bread. To be honest, the salad is a bit generic but with the price it comes with, I cannot complain. Now comes the risotto. This risotto is out of this world. For $14, you have a big piece of seasoned salmon that has a perfect salt taste that reminds me of a tropical place. The risotto has a mushroomy taste that reminds me of a forest. Overall, I come back here every business trip. I will continue to come here for many years“

“hello guys I am a famous food critic living in the foster city area. and I have went here multiple times and I have to say the food here is great and the ambient is great . normally I get a turkey sandwich with American cheese lettuce and tomatoes but I have recently started getting different items from their menu and I have to say everything in this menu is very great especially the safari sauce.“

“This place is pretty delicious, if you can find it haha.This particular location of CRUST is kind of tucked away in the bottom floor of a group of nondescript office buildings. It's definitely not something you notice right away from the street. Me and some coworkers nearly drove right by.All that aside, the sandwiches here were very much worth the drive and effort to find. I will say though... the chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie was the star of the show. It was so soft and delicious. Make sure to pick one up if you stop by. You'll be glad you did.“

“I moved to Boston from San Bruno 15 years ago, and I still think about the Italian sandwiches here. The garlic pesto sauce was unforgettable and I crave it every time I get an Italian here (yes even after this long and nothing compares)! “Really large sandwich. Dutch crunch was bomb and loved that there was Tabasco (red and green) on each table. My only complaint was that it smelled really strongly like cleaning chemicals. So A+ for cleanliness. But B for atmosphere since I smelled that the entire time. It was strong“

“A hidden gem and great sandwich spot overall. I called ahead to place an order for my sandwich and it was ready in about 15 minutes. I heard the wait can be up to 30 minutes so try to plan accordingly if it's lunch hour! I got the Turkey sandwich with everything on it which comes with a great garlic spread and fresh vegetables and bread. Staff is always very friendly whenever I come here, and the ingredients are always fresh. Keep in mind the limited hours during the day. Definitely recommend!“

“This place is located in a biotech park and a little tricky to find on foot. There is construction in the area which is what made it confusing. Overall the staff was helpful and friendly. The place has a few tables to sit at if you wish to dine in. The sandwich itself was good, I only wish there was a little more roast beef as the ratio of meat to bread was a little off with the Dutch roll“

“This place makes excellent sandwiches. It's our preferred sandwich shop in the area. Very well proportioned and not sloppy or greasy, yet hearty. Their soups, especially their tomato basil, is excellent as well. Definitely order in person for take out or dine in, because the prices through third parties are significantly higher.“

“Nice new deli in San Bruno - love the bread. They have tons of options or you can create your own - which I did. I have the roast beef with all the regular condiments except jalapeños or onions. They pack a lot of meat in those sandwiches. They have drinks and many types of chips. They will make your sandwich hot if you like as well. Very friendly customer service. The place is clean and well kept. Give this place a try and support your local delis!“

“Wow, they used so much meat, and it was so delicious.I had the oven-roasted turkey with brie, pesto sauce, mustard, lettuce, and pepperoncini, and woke up the next day craving it again. They even had good gluten-free toast to put it on.Friendly service too. I'll be back!“

“If you blink you will miss this place, but it is a little gem! Got a dozen bagels to go for an office meeting and they were hot, fresh, and wonderful... the cream cheese was great, especially the one that had smoked salmon in it! The owner is so nice and the smell will lead you to the front door! Parking can be tough as it is right before the underpass to Caltrain, but there are plenty of side streets and public lots.“

“I love this Mendocino farms. Food is really fresh and comes out very fast. We love the quinoa salad and fried chicken sandwich. Recently we started trying the turkey kale soup and it is a very hearty soup. Mendocino farms is a staple in our household. On days we don't want to cook and still eat a lot of variety, we come here or get take out.“

“We were nearby and decided to drop in for lunch. Place was pretty busy. Almost chaotic if you've never been there before. You tell them what you want and they'll just start asking the questions though. Not too hard to navigate but gotta be quick. There's not much room to stand around and stare at the menu (which is pretty expansive) so I ordered my favorite sandwich. A tuna sandwich! I got it on wheat with their jalepeno garlic sauce. I notice they didn't ask if I wanted cheese when I started eating it which kind of sucked, but the tuna is super tasty. Well seasoned and they really pack it on. It was huge. I enjoyed one whole half, but when I got to the second half that jalepeno spread was starting to be overpowering. I'd ask them to go light next time, but not bad at all. The side pasta salad was not as great but it came with the sandwich which was fine. They also have a nice salad bar I'd be down to try on my next trip!“

The craft coffee is from a small batch local roaster and is full-flavored and oh so smooth. If you're a coffee aficionado, you gotta give it a try. There are sandwich, soups, salads to choose from. My go to is the avocado and quinoa superfood salad. The portion is large and the salad is most importantly very good!!! I love vinaigrette is flavorful and light! The cookies are great treat! Love the ginger and date and hemp cookie! There are great options here for those who are gluten free or vegan. The service is great and honestly the mobile orders give an on time delivery or even ready earlier. This is a great location and will be coming back!“

“Fresh avocado, good scrambled eggs, nice sourdough toast. Even added a parchment paper between to prevent the lower slice from getting soggy. Portions felt a little small (sandwich loaf) and the avocado was covered in tajin. Couldn't find the option to remove tajin on the menu-iPad, but the picture made it look like only a little tajin was going to be added. Took a little while to navigate their software, asked for my phone number but staff called my name when it was ready, no text. Once ordered food was fast! Solid place, would go back and try to customize my order more.“

“OK. THIS IS THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN SOUTH CITY. HANA'S HAS: 1.THE BEST ASADA STREET TACOS 2. THE BEST LASAGNA IN THE PENINSULA (I AM NOT EVEN KIDDING) 3. THE BEST CHOW MEIN ON WEDNESDAYS and the list goes on. Offering Mexican sodas and other goodies, this spot is AMAZING! If you try the asada tacos and feel that there is a better place in south city I will pay for your meal. If you try the LASAGNA and you tell me that you have had a better one in the peninsula I will be surprised. On Wednesdays, they do a delicious CHOW MEIN that I like to mix with their fresh veggies. SO DELICIOUS AND GOOD FOR YA! The key here is that they do everything fresh and never frozen. ;-)“
