“Great udon spot. Tastes authentic, though I've never had authentic udon in Japan. My girlfriend is Japanese and she says 4 stars! I always want to try the other udons or soba, but I can't say no to the shabu shabu udon, max spice. Max spice has heat but not too much for someone who regularly eats spicy foods. I love their appetizer selection, some real unique and classic options like raw octopus, braised pork, or fried chicken and gizzard. Tasty!“

“A well-themed and delicious spot for ramen and sushi! I stopped by with some friends for dinner yesterday and had a a great experience here. The staff were friendly and it wasn't too crowded. We ordered several appetizers including the garlic edamame and chicken karaage. I ordered the truffle garlic ramen and my friends ordered the spicy miso ramen and tonkotsu ramen. Garlic Truffle Ramen 4/5 - The broth was rich and full of truffle flavor and the noodles were chewy and had good texture and absorbed the broth well. Plenty of bean sprouts, wood ear mushrooms, and bean sprouts were in the bowl. The egg was perfectly cooked. The chashu piece was good and tender but I was hoping for at least 2 pieces in my bowl. Chicken Karaage 4/5 - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Paired well with the sauce on the side. Garlic Edamame 5/5 - seasoned well with garlic flavor and the portion size was great and piping hot when it arrived. Salmon Truffle 4/5 - quite delicious and the flavors were well balanced between the truffle, ponzu sauce, and parmesan cheese. The micro greens added a good texture and each piece was rich but but not too overwhelming. Overall, we had a great meal and the ambience was chill and not too crowded. The art on the walls is pretty unique and adds to the overall ambience and I would definitely come back again. Check this spot out for delicious ramen if you are in the area!“

“Small, husband & wife shop. Beef and Chicken Teriyaki Bento - came with salad, 4pc California rolls, 2pc egg rolls, and rice. Heavy packed with the rice and meats. Tasted actually pretty scrumptious. Only minor complaint would be the beef was tuff.“

“Visiting from out of town and came across this cute ramen spot. The owner was so, so nice, as was the rest of his staff! I got the Black Ramen combo with the Spicy Tuna with Crispy Rice. My husband got the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen combo with the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice as well. Both ramen were great! Deeply savory broths and the chasu pork was so tender and flavorful! They also put a generous amount of spicy tuna on the crispy rice, which was a tasty appetizer. This is a perfect dinner on a chilly evening. Also, a special thank you to the sweet owner who gave us two iced teas on the house. Made our night! :)“

“We walked in after a very long flight and were yearning for a bowl of ramen- and we're met with absolute awe- this bowl was a masterpiece, even at the end of the night- loaded and very much worth every penny. The toppings- even the veg were perfectly executed, and broth was complex and slightly had a numbing quality. The service was great and as our first stop and first time to Hakata ikkousha ramen, this was a pleasant surprise. We got the recommended spicy favorite, a chashu bowl, and the royal pudding! There's a few tables that you can sit at outside, which unfortunately comes along with having to deal with quite a few flies. The sushi quality was good & the gyoza was my favorite! We ordered Kal noodle, which was too big for one person, Jaengban noodle, which was a little bit of sweet, and Tempura, which was jumbo size. There was no sampler for small amounts for tempura, so I had to take it home for leftover. It was still good after heating with the airfryer.“
