“Definitely one of the better ice cream joints in the South Bay. Nice people very friendly and cool quaint spot for a nice relaxing and chill time. The sweetie is my favorite as well as the honey comb with ice cream too. I also really like their apple with popping Boba drink very refreshing.Parking: Easy parking but make sure you go at the right time bc that location can get packedKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly“
“I visited this place for the first time. Wow, they really know coffee. I had a chai latte, it was prepared perfectly and served at the right temperature. My sister had a flaky custard pastry that was buttery, flaky, with a glazed sugar coating. It was delicious.Parking: Located in shopping mall“
“Cafe Pruvia is one of the most underrated spots in the South Bay for boba. They definitely perfected the milk teas! Although I'm not a big milk tea guy, their drinks are quite impressive. Strawberry milk tea with black tea is so refreshing but also satisfies that milk crave. If you are looking for a fruit tea, I recommend the peach green tea as it is nice and tart. They also have amazing service and are very welcoming. Not to mention, it is a perfect place to study or work, as it is always packed with college students studying on their computers. I will say, the boba pearls can be inconsistent. Some days I would go and the boba will be really small while other days they will be just right. That's their only flaw. Other than that, I highly recommend cafe pruvia if you want quality teas!“
“Got my wife the banana pudding from here because everyone says it is amazing. She loved it and I thought it was great too. It's not too sweet. Tasted like real flavors, not the weird artificial candy flavoring you sometimes get with banana desserts. Wasn't too sweet and left us wanting more. It's a little steep in terms of price because $8 for a small cup of pudding that you really won't want to share is a little ridiculous. Might try some of their other desserts but would get the same thing again when we feel like splurging. Hope you check it out and enjoy!“
“This place is awesome! The extensive variety of options could seem overwhelming, but they seamlessly categorize each tea to make things so easy! Plus having an herbalist right there to help you decide on what works best for you is amazing. Definitely will be returning for the tea and the customer service!“
“Podong offers unique Korean drinks from injeolmi to Korean pear! I was immediately drawn to their retro interior and free Photo Booth inside. The decor is extremely well thought out and fits their concept perfectly. You can order on the tablet or with the cashier. Even though they have 4 tables with chairs, it feels more like a grab and go place. Large parking lot outside. As for the drinks: - soul Thai milk tea 5/5 - strawberry yakult 4/5 - - Korean pear 3/5 Note: the boba is on the sweeter side I'm really sad they discontinued their sweet rice drink! I hope they bring it back. It was my favorite!!“
“I LOVE U SUNRIGHT!! my coworkers and i look forward to the days we order from here bc it brightens up our heavy shifts at the hospital. i've tried multiple of their drinks, but my go-to is the jasmine milk tea. it still has that authentic tea taste and not too much like that powdery stuff from other places. also, i can never go wrong with whatever i order. i've also tried the boba topping or mochi topping and both are top tier. i didn't think mochi would taste good in a milk tea drink (or any drink for that matter) but it was delicious!“
“Food is affordable and my favorite item is the tuna sandwich on croissant. You can choose to be healthy and order my fav fresh beet, carrot and apple juice or completely pig out and get some yummy fresh donuts or taro boba slushy. ( just gave you my 3 favorite items!) The service is good and fast! These ladies work so hard so tip them! In the morning it is very busy and just be prepared to wait in line. Ambiance is a very classic donut hole in the wall spot. I will go into depression if they ever close down! Gardena hidden gem“
“I'm first-generation Taiwanese American and grew up in the SGV with many family trips back to Taiwan, and Tea Station is definitely my favorite boba chain. Their snacks are about as authentic as you can hope for in the States - popcorn chicken and the fried sesame balls always hit the spot for a quick snack. The bento offerings are pretty good as well, offering a variety of side dishes to go along with the entree of your choice. My personal go-to drink is the almond milk tea. Customization for ice and sugar levels available of course.“
“Stopped by here for a quick lunch on a Sunday while heading down to Palos Verdes. Split an order of pad thai (I know it’s basic but I love pad thai) and it was more than enough for two people. You order/pay at the counter first and then can take a seat. Indoor and outdoor seating available. There’s a self-service water spout next to the counter and you can also help yourself to utensils/sauces. The overall vibe is casual. Credit cards accepted. Parking is easy as this place is located in the Tokyo Centre plaza. It’s good for big groups as well as kids.“
“Haven't been to a Lee's in years and it's actually a pretty decent chain for what it is. Just a quick and cheap banh mi and a lot of other options that'll do the job in a pinch. We stopped by really early in the morning before a flight and it was short and sweet. We also grabbed some pastries too and they were very hot and yummy. It's not the cheapest in town but it's still worth it.“
“I miss coming here after lunch to dine in for coffee and cake, but their cakes are still amazing. Although they don't have table to sit at anymore, my family loves it when I buy their birthday cakes from here. Our favorite is the strawberry shortcake, but sometimes we will order ahead for their other cakes (like fruit tart and tiramisu). I highly recommend their iced coffee and monte Blanc. I also came to check out the Ginza bread Collab they have. I love coming to this cute bakery for any reason I can think of, and the service is always friendly and welcoming.“
“Freshly baked delicious breads, pastry, tarts & cookies served with the best tasting, coffees, teas or fruit drinks in the South Bay! The ambiance is friendly, the staff is polite and accommodating. There's plenty of seating and parking was also a breeze.“
“I went here with my child's father after our parent-teacher conference it was right down the street from the school he ordered some food for him and his girlfriend and me I had the croissants which were cinnamon they were so good and I had a strawberry shake I would definitely be “
“Ordered a Golden milk tea with less ice and 50% sugar. This is a nice choice to get a sugar fix in. The brown sugar sweetness is nice and light partly due to the creamer. There is cinnamon in here which adds a kick. Location has some seating for short visits and a few outdoor seats too.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces in this plaza.“
“Came to try this new boba place with my friend. Upon arrival there was lots of parking place inside was small with only a few places to sit. Overall we got the strawberry and matcha marble boba and it was great!Parking: It's public parking lot shared with other small businesses“
“The interior is very spacious with lots of tables and comfortable seating available for whatever the occasion from single diners enjoying a bite up to large parties coming in to socialize over some food while enjoying each other's company. This location is always busy, so don't be surprised by long lines. Overall, what makes this location stand out a bit more than the rest is the overall atmosphere. Very chill and oddly easy to relax in.“
“TMJ Café - A Haven for Donut Lovers If there's one thing you must try at TMJ Café, it's their Maple Bacon Donut. This delightful treat is nothing short of phenomenal. The donut itself is pillow-soft, providing the perfect canvas for the rich, sweet and savory toppings. The maple glaze is expertly balanced - not too sweet, just perfectly syrupy, complementing the crispy, savory bacon on top. Each bite is a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that leaves you craving more. The ambiance of TMJ Café adds to the experience, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's clear that they put a lot of love and care into their baked goods. And if the Maple Bacon Donut is anything to go by, the rest of their menu promises to be just as delightful. In summary, TMJ Café is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Their Maple Bacon Donut is a standout, and I am eagerly looking forward to indulging in the rest of their delicious offerings. Oh goodness gracious, this is a donut lover's dream come true!“
