“Little Pan was a delicious stop for some Shanghainese cuisine. The star of the show was definitely the Stone-cooked Tasty Pebble Crispy Grass Carp. The fish was cooked with hot rocks in a sizzling pot. The texture was bouncy it almost felt like thinly sliced pork belly.For the stir-fry, I opted for the Wagyu Beef with Black Pepper. The beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the black pepper sauce had a nice kick without being overpowering.The Szechuan Style Chicken in Chili Sauce was another winner. The chicken was juicy and well-coated in a spicy and flavorful sauce. It was the perfect level of heat.Little Pan's mini pan-fried buns are a must-try! I had two varieties: the beef with a refreshing pineapple drink and the pork with a unique specialty orange drink. Both were delicious, with soft and fluffy dough encasing savory fillings. “Just had a meal at this restaurant. It was truly an unforgettable experience. I had so many dishes I've never had any where else. There was a lot of care put into each dish, and the flavors were so nuanced and delicate. We started with a chicken soup and goji berries. It was such a nice soup---very flavorful even though there didn't seem to be many ingredients in it. Then the braised duck came out...it was really exceptional. It was stuffed with sticky rice and chestnuts. An unexpected combination that really hit all the right notes! The pipa tofu was fried to perfection. The inside was pillow soft while the outside had the right amount of crunch. It wasn't oily at all. Also very soft was the many layered tofu was so soft and delicate. The fried milk rolls had a taste of honeydew and was so so good. So soft on the inside...not too sweet and very creamy. On top of the food being so so delicious was just the wonderful service. Really friendly and patient. Really one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to. Thanks to my cousin Albert for inviting my family and me!“

“Finally got to try Fennel Bistro during my lunch work hours and it was very satisfying. The meats were cooked deliciously and the flavors were spot on. The clay rice was crispy and well flavored. The meat to rice ratio was perfect for my preference. The place is simplistic and clean. Random, but it was fun to see the steam rise from the clay pots every so often inside, and it feels like a huge humidifier. No issues at all with the service, our waitress was very kind to explain how to pick out and order the clay pot combos.“

“Wow, true hidden gem. No signs , no ads, no fancy store front but great service and great tofu products. It's located at the end of the street on the left. If I didn't see a bunch of Asian people going in I would of missed it as it's an industrial strip mall . The silky tofu fah and the fried tofu are the stars but everything tofu is fresh. The ladies that work there are nice and if there is anything that you don't see just ask.“

I was passing through the area and came solo for lunch. The main dining area was filled with large round tables and was filled with customers. I was ushered to a small room with small tables for small parties like me. I asked what they were famous for and she directed me to the black cod. At $42 it was a bit pricey for lunch so I went for the three cup casserole with chicken.I'd say the food was good. Didn't blow my socks off but I would definitely come back. Service was great.“

“I had the Peking Duck Combo Meal twice, both times takeout and they were very good and tasty.The location was previously a Korean fast food and that’s why you see reviews of Korean food mixed in here. Google should really fix this problem.Back to the Duck Palace. The duck was well seasoned and delicious. The meat was carved out with both skin and meat so it is not just skin only. This is just another style of eating Peking Duck, not more or less “authentic “ as I had both styles in China, in Beijing no less. The combo meal comes with a Duck soup, first time it was real good, the second time I think the cook tipped the whole bottle of pepper in it ?. The carcass of the duck, mainly the neck and leg bones, were deep fried and they are surprisingly tasty, excellent when washed down with a cold beer.“

We had the lobster prepared their house special way! It came out of the kitchen quickly, perfectly seasoned and stir-fried. We ate it with some ong choy sauteed in garlic and some rice.
