“Fantastic little gem of a sushi place!We stumbled onto the sushi house kind of by accident and VERY happy we did.Large portions, great service and fresh, beautiful fish in a spotless restaurant owned by a wonderful lady. She is a gracious host as well as a caring owner of this spot.I tend to judge some places on cleanliness and how much care goes into a dining experience and was VERY pleased with Goleta sushi house.FANTASTIC!Thank you and see you again soon. ?Vegetarian options: Ample selection.“

“I eat at this restaurant monthly and have done so for many years and this is my first review.Cecilia was cheerful, prompt, engaging and delivered this delicious food which is my favorite combination. “Went to Sushiya in July while moving my daughter to near Santa Barbara area. The food was amazing and so tasty that we basically left the plates clean. But to our surprise when the owner found out my daughter was moving there by herself she offered her cell number in case she ever needed any help or have questions about anything. This was such a heartwarming gesture that we felt so grateful. Warm hearted owner with compassion for others no wonder the food tasted so good.“

“We went and got a variety of specialty rolls and one of the specials (seared yellow tail with jalapeño). We also got the spicy edamame as a start and it was fantastic! I liked the variety and the rolls were great. My one complaint was that the spicy (fiery roll) wasn't very spicy! I could have used more spice in the spicier rolls but I added wasabi and it was delicious.“

“Located where Hungry Cat used to be. Wonderful food and outstanding service. Went for the Summer Fresh Roll (No Rice Roll) and it did not disappoint. And the baked mussels were to die for. Highly recommend this place. So happy they are open for lunch. Hard to find these days. Can’t wait to go back. ❤️“

“Excellent Japanese food option while in SB. Reasonably priced, food came out quick, wait staff was attentive, and the outdoor seating area was comfortable and nice. We ordered a 2 item bento and about 5 rolls. The only weird thing was it's the first time in my 40+ years where I had to cut my own steak and chicken at a Japanese restaurant. In any part of the world. Japan, US, etc. Not a deal breaker, because it still tasted good.“
