“Been coming to this place for over 10 years and always for the breakfast burritos. It’s a hit or miss depending on who’s the cook but overall best burritos in the area. I called in ahead by the time I got there food was hit and ready. The cashier is a young girl she’s nice and friendly offers good service. They have other food like hamburgers and pancakes. “Went here last night. Had the "Baja's Burrito (grilled)". All I can say is it is 11:15am the morning after, and I'm still thinking about the burrito. It was big and delicious. I want to go back and try all the other things on the menu but I'm afraid I might have to keep ordering that burrito. The employees were friendly and helpful (we place a to-go order in addition to our eat-in dinner). Oh and I had the shrimp cocktail - whatever it was that shrimp were swimming in would have made a fine ceviche on its own. I'll be back soon. Very convenient location.“

“Nice little casual place to grab a bite. You order your food at the food truck window and can go into a separate building to sit down. Tacos were tasty and the best part was having different topping options, a couple salsas, pickled onions, Cilantro, Radish, cucumber etc. We were on our way from Orange County up to the Bay Area and wanted to eat quickly to keep driving. “I'm so so happy to have a taco place down at the beach that isn't greasy and heavy. These are some of the best tacos I've ever had, and they are so consistently good. The ingredients are fresh and well thought out. Just the right amount of heat in the salsas. My 10 year old loves the turkey carnitas and carne asada, spicy salsa and all. My two favorites are the fish and turkey carnitas and my husband loves the fish & asada. We've had everything on the regular menu so far and have never once been disappointed in either taste, quality, presentation, or service. The breakfast burritos are the best in the South Bay, in my opinion. Can't recommend this place enough!“

The environment when you dine in is very calm and relaxing. I mostly choose to stay and eat my food. George is also a great employee there. He makes sure you are well taken care of and makes the process of ordering food or picking up your food very smoothly. He has a great personality and is always a great face to see when I come.“

“We had a late lunch from Tacos El Goloso on a recent Sunday while staying at nearby Beach House. The food was ready in less than 5 minutes it seemed after ordering. We ordered for take-out and got 2 carne asada street tacos ($2.59 each), 3 tacos dorados de papa ($7.99) and 3 tacos dorados de birria ($9.99). The potato tacos were very good. I really liked them but they are on the small side. I wish they were larger because I feel like I need 4 or 5 of these to be satisfied. They come with shredded lettuce, crema and cotija cheese. Again, it would be much better if they were bigger hard shell tacos.... The birria tacos and the consome were great together. Dipping the hard shell taco with tasty shredded birria in the consome made for delicious bites. But the birria tacos are also on the small side. It's really too bad. 2-3 bites and they're a wrap. Service was fast. Food was ready lightning quick. There are some high top stools or you can eat while standing inside. Small interior. Small kitchen that pumps out good food. Located along Pier Ave just up the slope from Hermosa Beach Pier.“

“My coworkers had recommended this place after watching a Netflix documentary and let me tell you the story behind the restaurant is very heart warming. The food on the other is belly warming. If you come here the must is the carnitas tacos. Duh, simply the meat very tender and not fatty and the portions are big. I had two tacos and you can definitely make 4 with them and double it. The winner on the other hand I would say is the mafita. Pure hot cheesy mixed meat goodness. It's a giant carnitas taco with mixed meat with cheese. I don't think there's anything else I can say about this place. The other reviews speak for themselves but do watch the special about this place before you go. I definitely will recommended and come back to this place.“
