“What a fabulous new restaurant/bar addition to Hermosa Beach! The food is exceptional, lobster rolls to die for and the staff so friendly and helpful. We will be regulars for sure!“

“The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the boneless wings are horrible. They are cut cubes of chicken breast that aren’t even tender that you can barely chew. So much oil in box it leaked out all over the bag and luckily I put it in another bag or oil would have been all over my car seat.“

“I went with the spicy chicken, purple rice and pear drink.Very filling; chicken was a bit spicy but tempered by the green sauce the kind of heat that dissipates as you drive away a "hot ones/the bomb" change your life's outlook idea. The veg and kimchi are a good tangy respite to the spice. The purple rice apparently has more antioxidants than white so get that.Little fomo missing out on the beef optionPortion size is right on, I almost couldn't finish but powered through; I'm no quiter :()“

“Came here with a group of friends after a morning hike. Loved the amotsphere and Jose and his wife were so welcoming! The food was incredible and comforting. It felt like home.Definitely have to get the specials here! Our group got the chilaquiles, tamale omelette and the nopales omelette! Every dish was jam packed with flavor. “Today I was craving wings and this was the nearest restaurant to my job. I am not your typical chicken lover if I don't crave it then I don't want it. I came in during lunch hour and got the lunch special. The wings were very meaty and extra crunchy. It was flavored perfectly with the secret sauce. I got the 6pc bone in wings and it came with fries and a drink. I will frequent again in the future.“

“This place used to be called Bonellos, and it was great! Now it's different. The smell is different and the taste is different. For a while it was the same as Bonellos, eventually it was gonna change. Now it's no better than a pizza chain. I won't be going back, so disappointed. Not recommended.“

“I met up with my foodie friend for a working lunch. Sou Food Shack is located on market street in Inglewood. There is street parking available so I was able to find a meter spot. I couldn't read how long due to poor quality but managed to add a hour to the meter using my credit card. We found a good table and were greeted by very friendly staff. The space is cozy but roomy with a really good vibe and music. We looked over the menu with lots to look over. Big C was our server and greeted us with a big smile. We couldn't help but look at other customers plates before deciding what to order. Our order came to the table quickly and it was fresh and hot. I ordered fried catfish and decided to share our sides. Everything was delicious and flavorful. Large portion and enough to take home for later. Over a great experience and want to come back for breakfast.“

Only thing is… I crave and cannot live without extra extra spicy hot wing sauce and they had not one recipe of Buffalo sauce!!! NOT ONE. So… instead on cancelling my order I shimmied over to Wing Stop and ordered a couple sides of atomic sauce and what a combo. Bomb chickens crispy chicken wings paired with the atomic sauce was so perfect. I had the white rice and cabbage. The cabbage which is like an Asian inspired Cole slaw was bomb too. The crispiness of BOMB Chickens Crispy wings that are delicious through and through dipped into the atomic sauce were a marriage made in heaven!!! “Good crust and ingredients. I drive about an hour total for them, they're that good. You should check your pizza before leaving though. The service took a big hit around 2022 so I have gone less, but this year I was in the area more and have had no issues thus far. Hope they're able to regain their former glory!“

“Very Crispy and juicy fried chicken. It is challenging to order over the phone because the staff is busy fulfilling orders. The wait is around 15-20 mins. The food is made fresh on ordering. Loved it!!! I spoke to a few other customers and they all love it. The person at the counter verbally confirmed that the chicken is Halal. Only cash is accepted and the ambiance is for take out.“

“This review is based only on the shave ice. Some of the best around. My favorite is the the Hawaiian rainbow which is pictured below. So many good flavors and the mochi and rainbow sherbet ice cream on bottom tops it off. Lots of tables inside as well as a few outdoor tables. Service is good enough.“

“Lovely, polite service, absolutely delicious chicken - We ordered the Golden Original which has this light, crispy, flakey coating that is amazing (husband polished it off), and the Secret Sauce which was equally amazing - I had to hide my left overs in the fridge and i ate it cold, and it was still crunchy and delish! the chicken is perfectly tender and juicy. This aint fast food so it takes a few minutes to prepare, boy was it worth it! Can't wait to try the other offerings. It's small, I think most people get the food to go, but it's a very clean place. If I had to give them advise, it's that it's hard to tell by looking in the window whether they are open.“

She explained all the options and even gave me a few "crowd favorites". I ended up choosing the fried rice bowl combination and one of their slushy drinks. They have a bright red sign you can't miss. There's a grill next to their stand so you can watch as they melt cheese onto the steamed bun. The staff were friendly and helpful as they navigated me through the menu. THE PARKING AFFAIR.As I mentioned, we tried Nikuman-Ya at the 626 Night Market on the OC Fairgrounds, so parking pertains to that location. Arrive early to get a spot close to the entrance. How early is early? About 15-20 min before the 4PM opening. Parking is $12. THE RETURN QUANDARY. Yes. It's worth the drive, the wait, and the money.“

“I'm giving this place 4/5. The chicken had a Cajun spice that they put on the outside of the breading. Over the chicken wasn't the best but good. The line was kinda long but the food was affordable. I had a 2 pc, small Cajun rice, small soda and sweet potato pie for about $9. The sweet potato pie was great! I'll be coming back for sure, however this is located in the hood.“

“Came here today and I thoroughly enjoyed this place. We got the tenders, Louisiana rub, lemon pepper, mango habanero, Nashville chicken sandwich, fries, and the garlic noodles. All sauces are house made including the ranch and the honey mustard which were both outstanding. With the tenders we also got the Buffalo and the Honey Sriracha sauce, also house made and excellent, the honey Sriracha was my favorite.The food is fresh and quality is outstanding. Totally recommend for a good meal or even for sharing with friends and trying a bit of everything. A MUST Visit if you're in the area“

“Great concept. Friendly service. Best pizza I've had in the South Bay. Good size, not bad prices, good quality toppings and ingredients. Also, while you wait have a beer in the attached brewery and tap house, Project Barley. Service there is amazing and drinks are probably the best locally brewed ales around. They have quiz nights and live music, and you can take it to go or eat your pizza in the bar. So cool to have this as a local and easily accessible on PCH.“
