“Such an awesome little shop! The menu has got something for everyone and the customer service is literally unparalleled. We came in this morning to buy ground coffee but didn’t really know where to start, so they made a few recommendations and even brewed us little sampler coffees to make sure we liked what we were getting! Super friendly people there, and the iced chai was perfect too. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Hidden gem with an opium den. Huff said... But really, this place is one of a kind in all the right ways. Tucked away in what feels like an old Chinese camp ghost town lives a beer bar with an opium den, a constantly rotating tap list, addictive popcorn, and an owner just as fun as the vibe this place has. Other beer bars need to come here and take note. This is how you do it. This place might MIGHT just put Isleton on the map as a must see beer destination. Dog friendly to boot!”

“I was out playing tourist with my mom and my dog today checking out some of the towns along the Sacramento River and decided to give this place a shot for lunch. Unfortunately pets aren't allowed on the patio which sucks because it was a nice looking place but we still ordered a pizza to go and just ate nextdoor at the coffee shop. We had the Tuscan pizza and calamari with jalapenos which I didn't get a photo of, both were great and very flavorful. I do wish the bottom of the pizza was a little crispier but that just gives me an excuse to come back and ask for that and experience the rest of the restaurant. Looking forward to my next trip back.”

“I ordered the sesame chicken and pork chow mein. i loved both of my dish's. It took awhile to get my food but that told me they were actually making me fresh food. So I didn't mind the wait. Very friendly. I will be going back.”

“A throw back to a nice old school style steak house. Then prime rib is what we aimed for and it was worth the drive from Vacaville. If you remember Palby's in Napa this will remind you of that type of throw back. Great staff!”

“They are good, fast, and have a salsa bar. I used to live in Oakland and have had tons of burritos. This taqueria is a solid 4 stars for Oakland and 5 stars for Delta. Worth eating every day. Have tried most of the menu and there are no duds. No idea why another review critisized the sour cream sauce on the salsa bar. It is different than other places but it tastes fine.”

“For 3 1/2 years ive been driving by this place cuz i thought it was a marina/rv park only. Its on highway 160 (sign on hwy 160 says Vieras Resort) just outside of the town of Isleton. So finally my wife went in tonite and what a pleasant surprise it was. We were the only customers at first and we still cany yigure out why it wasnt packed. My wife orderes the Carnitas plate and i had the Chile Colorado plate. Both were awesome and huge servings. The corn tortillas were homemade too. The waitress was very nice and attentive, and they even had a DJ playing a great blend of music. I cant say enough how good everything was here at Taqueria Mexico at Vieras Resort. Check them out.”

“Great place for some pizza! Small 'hole in the wall' type of setting right across the street from the river. Prices are good and the staff is friendly. Parking is tight, that's about the only downside.”

“Food is great. We've been there 4 times already and ordered a variety of things. Love the atmosphere. We would like to make it a boating stop but the dock is not set up for that...yet? Not accessible through gate. All the dishes are delicious and exceeded my expectations for the Delta. My husband ordered Mongolian Beef (twice), he loves it. I find it too salty as mentioned in another review. Appetizer prawns are one of our favorites. It is our new favorite destination for Sunday afternoons.”

“I cannot rave enough about this establishment. I love the atmosphere! They have the largest private collection of African safari animals. You feel like you're in a museum where you can eat and drink! The food is always tasty and the drinks are nice and cold. I love coming here for lunch or a late night hang with friends. The service is great and the staff is always really helpful and friendly. Fosters has a special place in my heart and always will ! So happy to see the new owners putting so much love into this business. Wishing them all the continued success!”

“How have I grown up in the delta and only tried the striper recently !? They have the best breakfast ! Service is always fast and friendly. I highly recommend the Huevos rancheros with verde salsa. “We had fabulous pizza ?. It was different and delicious. We also enjoyed karaoke and dancing... ?Parking: Parking is good for disability people. They should be able to park on top next to the restaurant. There is plenty of parking down below, but you do have to walk up a few stairs to reach the restaurant.?Kid-friendliness: Everyone is very nice. I love it when the owner is there, she is a fun person. ?I also wanted to say having a water view is a beautiful thing! ?”

“Came in on a Saturday evening and the place was busy. They had live music out back and the bar was packed. I had the linguine with clams. Very generous portion of clams. Also had some garlic bread. Overall it was a very good meal.”

“Food is excellent, delicious with large portions. The service is great, takeout only. The staff is friendly and inviting. As stated this takeout only however, there's tables and chairs if you have to wait and the premises are clean and well kept. A menu is prepared each week with 1 entree item with sides and dessert. Sam's catering is a God send to the small quaint town of Rio Vista”

“Funky old dive that's been around for decades. I remember going with my parents in the 70s. Great burger. Garlic fries were loaded with garlic. If you want peanut butter for your garlic bread or steak, you have to ask for it now.”

“Had the bacon cheeseburger. Was very good, it's a big burger. Fries were just ok. Had onion rings and they were good. Definitely get a shake, I had a chocolate malt and it was fantastic.”

“I come here often, but I just walked in this week and the new owners introduce themselves. Very nice people. The store is very clean services is very prompt. Everyone seems to know what they’re doing. They were cleaning the soda fountain, disinfecting all the counters something you don’t see often in fast food, where they actually care about cleanliness. There’s a pleasure to meet them, and hopefully continue to have great business, and contribute to the economy here. As far as the food really good sandwiches, you can’t go wrong with the sandwiches and I’m very quickly be becoming a favorite of the foot-long pretzel which you can get in salt or sweet which I found out today.”

“This is an experience and som3 great food.You seat outside or inside looking over the Sacramento River tons of boats and a beautiful scenery. The food is so so so good. This time I went old school and got the fish and chips yum my other guest indulged in the crab and shrimp salad this thing was huge and my other guest enjoyed a nice portion of pesto ravioli. We all ordered a soup to start as well two tomato basil and one clam chowder yum yum so fresh and so good.we also decided to try the fried potato cheese for appetizer... Yum and the bar drink were so good as well.. Service was great parking was plenty..Try this place ...”
