Updated 2/12/24 to reflect new management and food. This place was one of the best kept secrets on the delta. The food had flavor and the old lady that ran it was great. I just went today and the food was bland. Only thing that saved the flavor was the salsa station which thank God, hasn't changed. The waiter couldn't remember that I ordered steak fajitas and the food came out cold, bland and without tortillas. Had to remind them about that then they were cold. Had to chase them down to pay the bill which literally took 8 minutes to accomplish while standing at the bar... won't be back unless I see another "under new management " banner in a few months.

Service was slow-ish, food was ok. The salsa bar was perhaps the highlight of the visit. The salsa made the food better. I was not hungry when I left. Not a lot to say.

It's a bit of a dive but that is part of the ambiance. Our server was friendly and efficient. The food was just OK. I ordered the chilaquiles with over easy eggs. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The rice was on the bland side. The refried beans were good. The sauce on my chilaquiles wasn't very good. It tasted scorched and had an underlying bitterness that I associate with burned food. The salsa did have a nice heat and I was able to use that to spice up my dish. If I went back, I would try a veggie burrito instead.

For 3 1/2 years ive been driving by this place cuz i thought it was a marina/rv park only. Its on highway 160 (sign on hwy 160 says Vieras Resort) just outside of the town of Isleton. So finally my wife went in tonite and what a pleasant surprise it was. We were the only customers at first and we still cany yigure out why it wasnt packed. My wife orderes the Carnitas plate and i had the Chile Colorado plate. Both were awesome and huge servings. The corn tortillas were homemade too. The waitress was very nice and attentive, and they even had a DJ playing a great blend of music. I cant say enough how good everything was here at Taqueria Mexico at Vieras Resort. Check them out.

Really nice family-ran spot. The servers are friendly, the beer is cold, and the food is delicious.

This restaurant is in Vieras campground in Isleton. It was dead both times we went in there. I hope we just hit their less busy time and people are visiting this place as it is very convenient for campers. Our waitress was very sweet. Since it was so quiet I was very glad to see their salsa bar had limited amounts and kept in ice to keep things fresh. My husband ordered a breakfast burrito and coffee for $10.00 the morning we were leaving. He said the burrito was very good and the coffee was decent, as wellThe night before we had dinner and my husband and I had different opinions on our meal. He had verde plate and said it was really good. I had the all meat burrito. I would have really like it except it had big chunks of fat. That grossed me out. It also had that real orange/red grease on either end of the burrito. Otherwise, the flavor was really good and not too salty.
