“First time coming here, good food and great service. My mom could be a bit of a Karen but the cashier was so nice, patient and answered all my moms questions. I didn't get his name but he was the cashier with black glasses. The food was very good and he make great recommendations. 10/10 experience The pictures look a bit of a mess but that's cause we tore it up fast. The chicken was crispy and juicy, a lot of fast food places have fatty chicken, not this place. Fries are bomb like mc Donald's minus the grease“

“We had an outstanding dinner there. We ordered the seafood sampler and a steak. They changed the mix for bloody Mary's which is way too salty, but the coffee martinee is outstanding. I would like the bread to be a little crispier, but salads and potatoes never disappoint. Definitely a little expensive, but doesn't stop us from going back. The split meal is the way to go as cost $12 and we still bring home food. It does get a little noisy.Parking: Open parking but always available. If get there and no spots, may want to look to someplace else or enjoy some nice drinks at the bar while you wait.“

“My wife and I came here on a Saturday night and there were maybe about 3 other tables occupied. There was live music which was great. We didn't see anyone working so we sat ourselves in a booth and patiently waited for someone to take our order. Ended up ordering the botana la palma and ceviche de pescado. About 5-10 minutes later we were informed there were no more fish for the ceviche, so we decided to go with shrimp instead. The service was a bit slow or non existent. Maybe because the restaurant was hosting a paint&sip on the other side and required the waitress' attention. Nonetheless the food was amazing! Seafood tasted fresh and full of flavor. Where it went a bit wrong was when we got our bill. I typically just double the tax for a 20% tip, but didn't realize until afterwards that 1. The tax was off and 2. We got the wrong bill. The botana la palma was $25 and ceviche i believe was around $19, but was charged $25 for sashimi de atun azul. The tax was only $2.49 so our tip was unfortunately lower than intended (sorry, I was tipsy). My fault for not checking, but I was in a rush. Overall, would definitely come back, but will double check my bill.“

“purposely came due to the nostalgic aspect of it being in the movie Halloween III. super cool vintage vibe just like from the Tom Atkins scene in the movie. great beers on tap and clean bathroom. bartender had a very nice British accent and was very accommodating. a buddy of mine was with me and we got to hang out with some of the bar regulars. they shared stories about the area and gave us some real nice recommendations in regards to film locations. we took some pics with the bartender and regulars before making our way to the famous church from the movie THE FOG. definitely stop by and grab some drinks if you're in the area !!“

“Definitely a neighborhood bar. Many of the people knew each other by first name. But they provided great service to everyone. Attentive but not overbearing. Beer list was comprehensive, lots of good local options too. Plenty of TVs for all your sports needs.“

“We haven't been to Yard House in many years. We recently had lunch there and the menu has been elevated since last visited many years ago. Lunch is a lot more relaxing due to less people and our server was excellent and the food as well.Parking: Lots of parking behind restaurant during lunch, but will need to valet or park in structure across the street during dinner.“

“went to barros around 240pm got the individual antipasto salad. and to my surprise it was huge and tastes delicious. also a beer on tap. I've been coming here as a kid since the 90's. It's been threw alot of cosmetic changes threwout the years but GOT DAMN!!! the pizzas and salads are beyond incredible. whenever I need a good pizza and/or salad. my number 1 pick. is Barros pizza over all corporate pizza places. “I forgot to take a picture but the food was delicious. I ordered the quesabirria tacos (comes with 3 & the meat juice) and a jamaica and they both were good. The agua frescas come in the big margarita schooner glasses. Not sure if they have free refills but I don't think so. I liked my tacos crunchy so I asked for them well. The chips were crunchy and not stale, the guac taste fresh. The waiter was attentive and checked on us a few times. Overall it was a good experience.Parking: It's in a shopping center and there is plenty of parking.“

“My first time in Mauricio I honestly wasn't too happy with my dish I ordered chile relleno but it was soooo spicy fire fire. “My wife and I stopped in to this new restaurant for an early dinner. It's a cool feel, country, cantina, Latin, BBQ mix. There was only one server on the floor but she had it handled. One bartender who was mixing drinks behind the bar and talking to customers who had many questions about the place. And there was one cook. As I said it was early and not busy. I started with a beer which was very cold served in a frozen mug. My wife had a cucumber margarita which was perfectly spiced, and then a second! We started with fried pickles which were great and served as chips rather than spears. I had fish and chips which tasted as though they were from a Scottish Pub. Battered lightly and not fishy. Very good! My wife had street tacos (fish, carnitas and chicken) also very good! I will be back to try other menu items but I was very pleased with the vibe, service, drinks and food“

“Last time I made a stop here was probably before the Covid Pandemic. A recent revisit was comforting: it was exactly like I remembered before . One of the same bartenders was there too and she remembered me . It's a laid back place . Plenty of people palying pool and the digital jukebox( Touchtunes APP) was in ation blaring out music . Patio in the back still relaxing and drin prices still reasonable . Glad to see it's still thriving !Parking: large free parking behind the uilding on the east side“

Bobby V. & FISH every other Saturday for live acoustic sounds are a real treat and anyone else who feels like getting up there to do a song are welcome to do so. We have Tina in the kitchen cooking it up just about every Wednesday and Friday and everything she puts together is yummy! LAST but not least we have Gary the Owner , he is totally sweet as can be. The price is right . The cheapest place to drink anywhere i know and drinks are just right not watered down. They have a pool table and a juke box as well. “We have been eating here since the restaurant opened up in the late 80s. It seems to have changed quite a bit over the past few years. The food is still good, just not as good as it used to be. I was really disappointed in the fried fish. It was kind of rubbery and chewy, not flaky and tender like before. The potato fritters are still as delicious as ever, but now you have to pay for the Gravy that used to come with it. We ordered and picked up the food just like we have done for years. Last night however, I was stopped before entering the gate and asked if I was there for the band. When I replied that I was there to pick up an order, I was given a very confused look. After explaining that I had already ordered the food and was only there to pick it up, I was allowed in. To be honest, I really didn't like being questioned at the door.“

“Yeah it's an English Pub but man can they turn into an Irish Pub when it's St.Payricks Day. We had a great time and even though you had to wait in line it went fast. Food was great with the traditional corn beef and cabbage and the corn beef was like butter to the fork. Amazing. And we also had fish and chips. That fish was crispy on the outside and a fat white portion of fish on the inside. And you know I had to put malt vinegar on it. The waiter suggested Guinness with a mixture of Framboise which is a raspberry Belgium beer I love. It worked great. This is my favorite quiet Lucky Baldwins and then if you want a higher energy head to Old Town Pasadena to that Lucky Baldwin. They both are great.“
