“I celebrated my 60th birthday few weeks ago and I can’t recommended it enough. Great location, beautiful inside, outside area is very clean, plenty of parking and very private. The food was great and believe me you will not be disappointed. The staff was very nice and easy to work with in particular the two ladies that worked with me and help me to put together my party in a short period of time, Roberta and Sandra….Roberta in particular has a good sense when it comes to ideas to decorate… you just need to tell her what theme you want for your party and she make sure that everything goes accordingly to your taste. She listened and within your ideas and her inputs I can guarantee you that everything will come out BEAUTIFUL. My theme was “Havana Night “ and everything came out better than I expected…So if you look for a place to have fun and created memories that will last forever, I would highly recommended this place !!“

“The Pastrami is the bomb!, was the selling point to come to this spot over Urth Cafe (it's a California must whenever I visit). At first I thought it was a dining spot but instead it was a butcher shop with 3 tables and chairs outside ... still, we committed to the cause and that was...to fill the belly. We ordered the smoked pastrami and prime steak Sammies. It comes with a drink and chippies (salt and vinegar goes great with everything) We received the sandwiches nicely wrapped in wax paper, it felt like opening gifts! Looking at the smoked pastrami sandwich, the quality of the marbled rye bread with the layers of pastrami, onion jam and sauerkraut was an awesome union of tasty matrimony ! That first bite said it all. I didn't want anything else afterwards. I had the steak sandwich on a hero roll but it dwarfed in everything compared to the pastrami sammie. It's pretty much pastrami all the way for me at this place. Definitely give this place 2 thumbs up. Price is abit steep but this is one of those spots to take care of your pastrami (or the MEATS) fix. They do have steaks to purchase if you want to make some amazing butter basted steaks at home. They also specialize in a variety of BBQ spice mixes if you're looking to make some meats for yourself. For a dine-in , their new location in Costa Mesa opened on May 8 and it's well worth visit (check out my Costa Mesa review) Service is great there and they know the halal deal (let them know you want your food Halalified)“

“Where to begin with how amazing this popcorn is? Ever since I was a kid, there's something so nostalgic about going to the mall and getting popcorn. Not many malls have popcorn stalls, let alone have delicious one of a kind popcorn flavors. Doc pop is the spot for your popcorn cravings at mall visits as well as catering for your party events. I recently worked with Tamer the Doc Pop genius at Doc Popcorn to purchase enough popcorn for my daughter's Disney birthday. Thinking three large bags would be enough for 100 guests (1 large bag = 20 people; 3 large bags for 60 people), we overestimated the amount of popcorn people would eat/take at the party. NOT A PROBLEM. We ended up eating the leftovers (still was fresh after a week) and taking some to work to share with colleagues. Everyone agreed the flavor and the freshness of the popcorn was great. If you're thinking of popcorn for a party, do yourself a favor, check out Doc Popcorn (they have lots of delicious flavors). Tamer was very knowledgeable, helpful and has we wonderful customer service. My advice: Prep yourself for a night of packing small bags use a funnel or a scooper (trust the process, the end product will be worth it). The closer you get your popcorn to the day of your party, the more delicious your popcorn will be. For reference: 2 large bags of popcorn filled 100 5inch x 10.8inch bags (we barely had to use the third large bag of popcorn towards the end).“

I grew up working in the floral industry so I had specific flowers I wanted to include or omit from the spray and a vision of the arrangement. Rosemills went above and beyond what I envisioned. The flowers were perfect, beautiful quality and admired by everyone at the service. They really nailed my flower love letter to my mother in law. I am very grateful.“

“I'm not sure I can add anything to the already amazing reviews below, but I'll sure try! I had a group of 30 people coming from out of town that needed dinner every night for a week straight, and finding a caterer that could provide different meals each night for that number of people was a challenge. When I found Melrose Catering online and reached out, Stephen was very quick to respond and provide me with a large amount of options for each night. Through working with him and his team, we were able to curate a vastly unique menu for each night while also catering to a few gluten-free and vegetarian members of my group. Throughout the week, some of the items we had for dinner were: orange ginger salmon, fried chicken & waffles, korean short ribs, chicken empanadas, paella, flat iron steaks, salmon picatta, and tri-tip. NONE of these items disappointed in the slightest! There was not any food item all week that anybody disliked, and nobody had a single bad word to say. To the contrary, everyone in my group (myself included) was incredibly impressed by dinner every single night. I was expecting to not enjoy at least one side or dessert item, but there was truly nothing even mediocre the entire week. Each item, whether it was a main dish, side/appetizer, or dessert, was full of flavor, served very hot, and cooked perfectly! In terms of communication, Stephen and his team made us feel like we were the only group that mattered, although I know they had different orders during our week of catering. Stephen responded to my (very many) texts/emails/calls incredibly quickly, and delivery was perfectly executed every night. Overall, I could not recommend Melrose Catering any more for whichever event you may have!“

“Great, delicious Indian food made fresh. Large portions that will fill you up enough for two meals. The service was good. We were asked if we want more free rice. The only thing is make sure you are not in a rush or looking for a quick meal because the food takes some time to cook since it's made fresh when you order it.“

“Once we booked with the Nixon Library, we were given a choice of 2 caterers that we could use. I was a bit worried when I found this out, as I wasn’t sure I wanted to be boxed in with specific vendors. White House catering was by far our favorite choice. Katie was a dream to work with. She answered all of my questions, helped me plan out “Operation Keep Grandma Nice”, and was just a great person to be able to work with. The staff on the day of were fabulous too. The server for our sweetheart table was the sweetest - constantly kept checking in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything, and was always nearby in case we did. They are definitely a well oiled machine, and everything ran extremely well. It is clear that they have this very fine tuned! Thank you again for everything and making sure all of our guests were taken care of and well fed! :)“

“We had a party with over 50 ppl and the star of the show was our Lechon Roast Pig. The quality of the meat was excellent, very moist with a crunchy skin. Transaction was done entirely via text/Zelle and very easy. The Lechon was packaged nicely for transport and pick up was very easy.“

“I love the olive pit! I have had my fair share of Mediterranean and greek food over my lifetime and this place is different, in a good way! The flavors are fresh and so delicious...there is literally nothing i have had here that i didnt like. I loved olive pit so much i came here 2x in 3 days!! Their hummus is amazing, their salads are vibrant and huge, and their lamb and chicken are seasoned to perfection. What are you waiting for?! Come here and indulge! “We hired Asher's BBQ for a school event and they were amazing! The food was delicious, the prices were affordable, and the service was great. I especially like that they do an online ordering service to eliminate time waiting in line. All the families had nothing but great things to say. Would definitely ask them back again.“

“Quality of ice cream is excellent. Saw this place on yelp and had to get the Ube Ice Cream. If you are not familiar with Ube, it is a root similar to Taro (but richer). So so good!!! Looking forward to trying some other flavors! Just remember, this is not an ice cream parlor, just a small business that sells and caters ice cream for events.“
