“Went here for St. PATRICK'S DAY looking to have a beer and some fish ? and chips with the wife. Place was crowed and quite festive ☘️. Service was slow with the beer as demand was high and the servers and bar staff were frantically filling orders for ? folks who were chugging away the green beer and other mixed drinks as fast as they were presented to the patrons. Patience was key and the bar and wait staff are ? Champs for working so hard on a Sunday St PADDY'S day. Beer and alcohol service for that day was also available outside on the patio. Enjoyed a cold one streetside with other friendly folks waiting to get a table. Once we were seated the wait staff was fast and polite. Drink order came around fast and surprisingly the food was just as fast too. I highly recommend this place for the fish and chips. Great batter, comes out crisp and light, good tarter sauce and their coleslaw is just the way I like it. Better yet they have one of my favorite Irish Cream Ales on hand Killkenny. Great Red Ale which is always on tap here throughout the year...Definitely coming back. My wife had ordered the same food dish and big thumbs up from her too...she doesn't drink alcohol so she ordered a Shirley Temple to which they served in a large beer ? mug which made her happy too. Would absolutely recommend this place as there is a great bar and restaurant atmosphere and setting in this quaint downtown setting of La Verne. A shout out to manager Anthony who was serving beer on the pation and showing great hospitality to everyone outside.Parking: Small downtown area next to college so parking is a little competitive depending on time of year and time of day and which day of the week. There is a lot to the east that has free parking.“

“We were hesitant to try this Chili's after getting sick at another location and after reading some of the most recent reviews for this location. However, we were very happy with this location. Our server, Michele, was efficient and friendly. The lunch special was a great deal and was cooked perfectly. The chips & salsa & guacamole were all fresh and tasty. Ribs fell off the bone and were well seasoned. The fries were fresh and perfect. The posted sign near the door said Kayla McKenzie was the manager. Thanks for getting this location into shape, Kayla!“

“Very Good Service. Amazing food, friendly atmosphere. I go here for lunch occasionally dinner. As good as the food is I can never finish the bowl of PHo. When I take home leftovers, they do an excellent job of separating the noodles and broth and packaging it for me. Highly recommend. One of the only places in Claremont where you can also watch the game and have tasty appetizers.“

“Overall great experience. Drinks were good, we had a few appetizers and the churro and it was all great. The only thing I noticed was no one greeted us at the front, had to walk in and get someone's attention. But overall it was excellent, and we will definitely be back“

“We had an outstanding dinner there. We ordered the seafood sampler and a steak. They changed the mix for bloody Mary's which is way too salty, but the coffee martinee is outstanding. I would like the bread to be a little crispier, but salads and potatoes never disappoint. Definitely a little expensive, but doesn't stop us from going back. The split meal is the way to go as cost $12 and we still bring home food. It does get a little noisy.Parking: Open parking but always available. If get there and no spots, may want to look to someplace else or enjoy some nice drinks at the bar while you wait.“

“Went here for the first time last night. Made a reservation at 8pm for a date night with my wife and had another couple with us. They got us all set up, explained how it worked and how we should throw the axes. It definitely was more difficult than you would think. Our reservation was for an hour and about 40 minutes in I asked the young lady working there if we could add more time. She said that there were other reservations coming in at 9 to use our spot but if other spots opened up, which they probably would, then we could play there. We were like cool. She tried to get our axe about 5 minutes before the hour was up but my wife wasn’t having that so we threw till 9 on the dot. Afterwards we asked about more time again and she said to go to the front and we will try and get you in. We went to the front desk were a young man helped us and said he should be able to get us in but there were a couple of walk-ins that came in and we’re waiting. We were like well we had a reservation and want to add time does that not give us priority? Some places like bowling allow this so we asked. He got in one of the walk-ins ahead of us then said we could have one. Now it’s about 910 and he asked if we wanted 30 minutes or an hour. We asked what the prices difference was. He said it’s $15 per person for 30 minutes and $25 per person for an hour. The better deal was for an hour so we said an hour. He charged us then took us to our lane. It’s around 915 now. At 10 o’clock he came around and said times up. My wife and looked at out watches and said it’s only been about 45 minutes. He said he was sorry but they close at 10. Naturally we were like but you charged us for an hour and only gave us 45 minutes. Again, he said he was sorry but that they were closing. He said they could give us a credit for next time. We did not accept. We just told him that if you knew you weren’t going to be open for an hour you can’t charge people for an hour and then offer a credit. We were pretty disappointed by this and why I only gave 3 stars. Overall we all had a very good time, but employees need to know when they close and let people know, hey we only have 45 minutes till we close. I can do $15 for 30 minutes or $20 for 45 but do not charge people for an hour when you close in 45. It’s bad business I would go back however and just keep track of the time myself. It was a lot of fun“

“I can only speak about the pulled pork sandwich and fries they were both Fire!! ? One of the best pulled pork I have had beats Lucille's for sure. They didn't put BBQ sauce in the sandwich and it didn't matter the pork was juicy and delicious I did ask for BBQ sauce on the side they brought out a couple of choices and put it on myself which I actually prefer to do it that way. Try it you won't be disappointed!!“

“We went to this place right after a hockey game. It came in the clutch because it was late and he wanted something to eat. I got the jalapeño burger and it was pretty good. I also ate the guacamole and salmon dip and it was so delicious. Definitely coming back for more. All the food we got was on point and we didn't really have any complaints. Oh, I can't forget the root beer float, yes I am a grown man and I still like root beer floats ha ha ha ha. Our waitress was also good and she made sure we had everything we needed and kept checking in on us, thank you“

“My first time in Mauricio I honestly wasn't too happy with my dish I ordered chile relleno but it was soooo spicy fire fire. What really made it worse was the rice ? it was hard and didn't taste fresh. Camila the person in charge came up to apologize he was really nice about it and gave us a discount. I think I will return for the Karaoke night ?“

“Honestly the bar is great and the service is great. Everyone who works there is nice but the crowd there is not it. There was a group of guys who decided to just pick a fight with us over a game of pool. We simply wanted to play but they started to be super aggressive and talk about some "house rules" that don't even exist. They were extremely rude. I had a couple good interactions but seriously.... Some of the people that come here... not good. But the people that work here are super sweet. Just be careful of who you interact with!!“
“Stoped by Saturday with some friends. Greeted by friendly staff and owner. 6 different cocktails were served that were beyond great. We left with three bottles to go. Awesome relaxing atmosphere. The Gins were my favorite and all ultra premium but priced fairly. Coconut rum was probably the biggest surprise for me. Who knew a coconut rum could be great. I'll be back.“
“Dropped in on St. Patrick's Day for a quick drink and tots we saw on a photo menu on Yelp.. There was a special menu of limited items with three choices: corned beef cabbage, fish and chips and chicken tenders and fries. We went with the chicken and fries for $12 which came with three nice side pieces with lots of meat and the right amount of batter. Came piping hot too. The fries were good and crisp For drinks most ordered the Irish Mule with Jameson Whiskey. They came in plastic cups but did have a nice pour for their special price $8 Our server was nice and ambiance was chill with Irish music it was still early for what I suspect will be busy later. They must too with limited food items and plastic cups“

“Great atmosphere, very friendly, welcoming staff. Quick, efficient, competent and friendly service but freedom to take your time and not feel rushed. Everything we ordered was prepared with care and forethought. The food itself was delicious. We all 4 ordered something different and no one was disappointed. The portions were just right, not too much, not too little.“
“Fantastic!! Had their tomahawk porkchop dressed in mushroom sauce and garnished with rosemary sprig. I paired it with a glass of reisling and accompanied side salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing.Overall the meal was satisfying and brought a lot of flavor to the pallette. Also had Tequila Mockingbird cocktail after made by iliana which was excellent for a nightcap. Highly recommend this farm to fork spot!!“

“Just had their pho again and it's delicious. The service was fast and attentive. He did a great job considering he's the only server this morning. The place is super clean and that's a plus. A little high for a pho place but, it's so worth it. If you're looking for a good clean broth and delicious pho, this is the place for it... doesn't matter the cost.“

Bobby V. & FISH every other Saturday for live acoustic sounds are a real treat and anyone else who feels like getting up there to do a song are welcome to do so. The price is right . The cheapest place to drink anywhere i know and drinks are just right not watered down. They have a pool table and a juke box as well. So there's a lot going on at the "G" And to ALL our friends who come there whatever day of the week it's always fun , no matter who's here. Everyone's welcome at the Grand.“

“I've been a Vince's customer all my 70 years. Not your typical Italian restaurant, just a spaghetti house, although the menu has been expanded recently to include lasagna. Always good, family friendly, just don't get hungry for spaghetti on Wednesday. To my knowledge they've never been open on Wednesday.“

“Wow! We went to another place that stopped serving food and searched nearby spots. We found this restaurant and couldn't be more pleased. We are from out of state and especially coming from Arizona where we know what good Mexican food tastes like we absolutely were not disappointed. 10 out of 10 recommend and we will 1000% be back when Los Patrones opens. Jonathan was an out of this world server and Stacy and Jennifer were amazing bartenders with great service! Comfortable atmosphere and inviting music and staff. Thank you Kalaveras, Cinco de Mayo done right!“

“BEST. BURGERS. Nowhere else have I had a juicier, tastier, taller, thicker burger with so many diverse flavor options. On top of that, the sides are delicious, too: crispy, sweet, and salty fries, sweet potato fries, and tater tots! Even if burgers aren't your thing, they also have an unbelievable quesabirria melt, fantastic fish and chips, and awesome Taco Tuesdays with delectable grilled fish tacos, and so much more! Solid choices for appetizers, big salads... they've got it all. Our favorite is the main bartender Chelsey, who is not only extremely friendly every time we're in, but a creative, wonderfully talented bartender who never disappoints with an assortment of alcohol at their full bar. They even have some niche brands that we're big fans of. All in all, this place absolutely ROCKS!Parking: Parking can be a little tight next to the restaurant, but there's a massive shopping center parking lot immediately attached to the north, so you won't go without a spot.“
“This bar is perfect for what it is. It's clean, there's plenty of tables, lots of space at the bar, big TV's, and a great selection of beers and few ciders. They don't serve food but you can bring your own. They ONLY have beer and wine. They have foosball, automated dart games, and a Bluetooth juke box. The bartenders are all chill and make great micheladas. Anytime I'm in the area and I'm not ready to go home, I pop in for a drink and a round of darts.“

“Chuan Pot is a AYCE shabu place that's relatively worth the price! The ambiance was pretty interesting, we came in a Saturday night and it wasn't too crowded around 6pm! The tables are all made of a type of wood I commonly remember seeing in my uncles' and auntie's houses growing up haha so it gave kind of a nostalgic feel. I found the music and vibe to be quite unique for a shabu place! They played jazz and had a screen with a Hawaiian backdrop; it made the dinner experience feel strangely calming, not the usual upbeat experience people may find at other places. As far as food and service, it was really great! Both of our female servers were super sweet, attentive, and friendly. They checked on us often and made sure we always had meat on our table! They only serve 4 types of meat and have 6 soup bases to choose from but allowed us to order two plates of each (not sure if this was because we were a group of 4 or because it wasn't too packed). The meats were good quality and were tasty in our two soup bases. They give you paper plates and bowls to eat from which worked for us! They also have a sauce table with ~8 toppings, a water bar, and a veggie/noodle/rice/other misc shabu foods bar. I was happy with the variety of items they had! Lastly, we were given a scoop of strawberry or cookies and cream ice cream (flavors vary) and it was a delicious way to end our meal. We'd come back :) thanks for a great experience!“

“My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for a while and we finally did. We showed up on an early Friday evening, there wasn't much ppl there but we gave it a shot. Great service, very attentive, great food! I had a regular margarita on the rocks and it was perfect. My husband had a michelada he said that was ok. But over all great experience. We had the hot Cheetos sushi that was good. My tacos were good and my daughter ordered a quesadilla and fries and as basic as it was it was a good size. The ambiance was cool, loved the decor. Music great, Over all we will return. Hoping to try the Sunday brunch too! I will add I think it was the manager who kept coming over to check on us. Great service, good drinks, bomb food. We will be back“

“This bar is a vibe!! We came in here after seeing a show at the glass house. Priscilla was our bartender and she is awesome!!! She is so nice and personable and just genuinely one of those people that puts off amazing vibes! This bar also has so much more to offer than just wine. Plenty of beers, specialty beers/drinks. The next time we come to the Glass House for a show, we will definitely be stopping in again!Special shoutout to the people around us at the bar who were so friendly. No one felt like strangers, we all just collectively started talking, and sharing awesome stories. “Everything was good except for the garlic fries. They were overwhelming to the point of after having 1 we had trouble tasting our other food. I like garlic but this was way too much. Besides that we would return but without the garlic fries. After getting a response from the owner I was corrected by saying that they don't have garlic fries, they have truffle fries.Even more troubling because they tasted garlicky and way over seasoned with that truffle flavor that you added. Therefore I stand corrected.Truffle fries....“
