“Website menus need to be updated to reflect what is currently being offered. “All day menu “ not available for ordering but our server did his best to see if chef could accommodate a member at our table. Found wine to be pricey for what was offered. Overall I do really like this neighborhood restaurants. & will probably continue to patronize it“
“if you're looking for an unpretentious, neighborhood dive bar (that isn't *trying* to be a dive bar) this is your place. cheap drinks, healthy pours, friendly bartenders! pool tables, $2 a game or $5 for 3 (cash only). solid juke box! we will be back for sure!“

“What a night... the server Johnny, was amazing. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. He was attentive, and came with a great sense of humor. Great hire and it would be a shame if y'all ever gave him up. Keep in mind this was my first time here and what an impression he left on my family, will be back soon again. Thank you Johnny and thank you Sorella.“

“I've been ;dining at Roka Akor since moving to SF in 2016. After a hiatus due to the pandemic I noted the food was not as savory as it was. It may be attributed to change in Chef or management. Please put the Chilean seabass and lobster roll back on the menu. Those items were huge wins.“

“Our favorite bar in the Bay Area by far, and our go-to spot for celebrating special occasions and bringing out of town friends! With Michelin level drinks, food, ambience, and service - all of which have impeccable attention to detail - it's no wonder they're always packed. Drinks - Great selection of cocktails and sake. Cocktails uniquely showcase asian ingredients (e.g. japanese yam, calamansi, yuzu), and they change the cocktail menu from time to time so there's always something new to try. They have a wide variety of sakes, including a number of rare sakes that you can't find anywhere else. Timofei, the bar manager, is an encyclopedia of knowledge, and if you ever get the chance to talk to him, you'll learn a ton about each and every drink! Food - Standouts include the Kaisen-don (w/ uni, roe, hamachi, and squid) - so good I'm still dreaming about it a week later - and the Mochi-age (vegetarian fried mochi). We love what they've done with the interiors since their recent remodel. Service is always so attentive, accommodating, and timely. I'm already looking for excuses to visit again soon - always such a treat!“

“I worked with the Barcha events team to coordinate a large team dinner. Our group size kept growing and they were friendly and accommodating! The food was absolutely amazing and the service was friendly and quick. Thank you to Constantine, Dash, and the entire team for a fantastic experience! I will definitely be dining at Barcha again next time I'm in town!“

“Loved the wait staff, and atmosphere. The Spicy Barnes cocktail was amazing, However, I felt the menu had limited items to choose from. We were informed of the Corned beef sandwich being served cold, but it was disappointing, especially having cold fries alongside it... It was as though the order had been sitting out and needed reheating. Overall I would recommend this restaurant for 2 reasons: 1. Spicy Barnes cocktail 2. great service ( kudos to both Tom and Zoey for being exceptional waiters).“

The coffee is delicious and their bar setup is ultra cute.In fact the entire spot is well decorated and clean. “Gorgeous decor. Amazing cocktails. Thanks AP“
“Atmosphere: Solid and funBar Service: Kind, interesting, professionalsDrinks: Costly (but craft cocktails can be, so expected), my drink was cloyingly sweet, my friend's drink was more of a savory thing, and one of the rum drinks was great.UPDATE:Within 1 hour the owner of the bar contacted me about the experience with the drink I had ordered. He offered an apology, which I appreciated but was unnecessary, as I should have been better about saying something during my visit, rather than in a public review. This was customer service at its best, and that I appreciate. Upon reflection my drink may have just been a bartender error, and everybody has an off day.As the atmosphere and employees are amazing, and the vibe a solid 100, and now management reacting in a meaningful way to a petty complaint, I am boosting to 5 stars across the board.Go see for yourself what caring about your customers, and their experience is all about. Cheers!“

“Perfect Italian authentic restaurant when enjoying North Beach neighborhood. zor my friends birthday I got us tickets to dear San Francisco, which is a wonderful show at Club Fugazi just 3 blocks away from this great restaurant! Paolo took wonderful care of us. His wine, suggestions and appetizer and entrée tips were the best! The pasta is homemade and very delicious and special. We tried the gnocchi with pesto, as well as a delicious braised meat, red sauce over fresh linguine. We also enjoyed the grilled (not fried) octopus. The tiramisu for dessert was perfect! I’ve been here before, and I will go back again and again for the service and authentic delicious Italian cuisine.“

“One of these places where you can forget about time while enjoying good food and a great view of San Francisco's skyline. Sometimes sea lions may show up watching you dine in this barrel designed restaurant. The ceviche was refreshing, the watermelon margarita was decent and the service helpful, yet slightly disappointed that we only had a small sharing plate at lunch time.Highly recommended to sit on the balcony because of the astonishing view!“

“Loved this place for the amazing ambiance and modern interior. We booked a table there for the Valentine Day celebration and got a sitting in the outside covered area which was nicely lit and decorated. They had a special menu for that day so I ordered a duck from it and my husband went with vegan sliders. The food was delicious and our waiter very pleasant and knowledgeable. I also tried one of their mocktails Sans vin which appeared to be refreshing and not too sweet. I liked our experience there and probably would come again mostly because of the ambiance. Food in the regular menu didn’t seem too exciting. Another thing too - they include all the mandates, fees and tips to your check at once which was confusing for a lot of people around us that evening.“

“Colibri is a Mexican bistro right close by the sea. It's a beautiful place for a hot meal in their outside court. The sun can fall into your eyes and start toasting you, so stick to those covered tables if possible. Keep in mind that although it's upscale, it is traditional and sticks with its roots. Not the kind of traditional that someone from the South is used to.Really great quality food. The spice was a big wake-up call for me. The drinks are fun (they put one of their cocktails in a peacock glass!) and they make sharing easy.“

“I have never been inside for a drink , but I absolutely love their choice of music which is piped into the parklet ; they play songs by Natural Milk Hotel, and The Sundays; and for this I thank them. I shall visit soon.I am also impressed with murals on their parklet.“

“Back to Back adds warmth and flavor to the relaxed and quiet streets of Nob Hill, my neigboring neighborhood. Its special to support a family run restaurant by two siblings whose parents formerly ran a restaurant in this very same space. Hence, the name Back to Back. The food is undoubtly delicious and has interesting recipes like the Hot Honey pizza, but for me what really makes this spot a standout is its energy and story. The whole evening it was abuzz and our waiter offered helpful guidance while also being delightfully charming. Hot tip: the chocolate cake is very rich and dense so plan your offering accordingly“

“I'm from Toronto and I loved my experience at Barrio! Mikey is fantastic! His personal touch and explanation of our tequila flight was exemplary. He introduced us to tequila that are better than anything we've tasted before (and we've tasted alot) The blue shell tacos and nachos were fantastic. We looking forward to coming back here next time we in San Fran.“

“Amazing food and cocktails. The staff is what makes this place special. Truly feel like a welcome guest.❤️“
“I came here for a team happy hour and I have to say, you should definitely make reservations if you are planning on coming with a group because this place fills up pretty fast. We were so thankful we did. While we were there, there were three other groups there with their own reservations. Since this place isn't terribly big, it got really loud and I could barely talk to the person next to me. Maybe it's just because I'm hard of hearing, I'm not sure, but that was a bummer. Once the two hour window for our reservation was over, we moved closer to the bar and that was a lot better. It made a world of difference for us and it made it easier for all of us to talk to each other as a group. Next time I make reservations, I'm going to ask if we have the spot behind it because it's super ideal! The drinks and food were pretty delicious and full of variety which was really nice with all of them being reasonably priced also. Overall, I would definitely come back but just make sure to sit closer to the bar next time!“

“Start to finish: wonderful and authentic Italian food - and the service and staff can't be beat. Do not miss the Negroni - the vermouth they use is dynamite. I love their pinsas but this time ordered the olive oil poached halibut and the roasted crispy potatoes. Their panna cotta is the best - fennel pollen and olive oil are a divine combination.“
“718 was formerly the Blind Pig, which took over the Cathay House . The bar and seating areas are exactly the same as when the blind pig opened. They're in the process of revamping the drink menu.Drinks:I tried the jalapeño margarita..very tasty, pretty strong drink!. They used mezcal which gave it the smokiness! The bartender made us to try two new bourbon drinks. They haven't named it yet. One was mixed well, not sure what else was in it, but it was topped off with a dehydrated passion fruit. Optically stunning..maybe a just a pinch sweeter and it would be bomb! The second drink was mixed with oolong tea and five spice.. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered a second!Food: we didn't eat but they served snacks: fried wontons, potstickers and fried spring rolls.Ambiance: great space!! Comfortable seating! We were a party of five and had the whole bar to ourselves the entire time we were there. Maybe it's an after dinner spot. The one bartender was great. He served strong drinks and was very attentive. This is my new hidden gem! I will be back to try the new menu soon!“

“Celebrated my birthday here and it was really fun. I actually stumbled upon this place by chance. They easily accommodated us even though I didn’t have any reservations. Mason was our server and he was the best. His recommendations were really good! Everything came out perfect. The food, cocktails and dessert were really good. We enjoyed the appetizers especially the elote. The steak was cooked perfectly! Nice and tender. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Highly recommend this place. It won’t disappoint!“

“Nice little cocktail bar close to out hotel on Lombard. Went there for a quick bite (they were one of the few places open till 10 pm) after our flight in. Unfortunately didn't get to try any Cocktails (too tired). The atmosphere was very nice, a friendly vibe which was bolstered by the very good and friendly service. Had the grilled fish taco (excellent) and a carne quesadilla (OK). The guac and sauce stood out. The churros were incredible! Prices were reasonable as well. All in all would recommend for drinks with small groups of friends, I'm assuming their Cocktails are great ?.Dietary restrictions: Option of corn shells so gluten free options available.“
