“Decided to drop buy after picking up some supplies from Harbor Freight. I got the Hamburger combo with Fried Zucchini upgrade. The Hamburger was very good and the Fried Zucchini was excellent. The Fried Zucchini had a great taste along with that crunchiness. The staff was also very nice.“

“The first time I came here was 20+ years ago. It is still my favorite diner to this day. To be honest, I've only ever been for breakfast since I'm usually only in the area around that time. I'll be passing through the area on Saturday morning, and you can bet I'll be stopping by for some coffee & pancakes!“

“Demetrius is one of the owners here and I have to say that this place is absolutely fantastic. The service is top notch. And they keep their restaurant amazingly clean. Customers that come here love it here. I even saw one of my customers here. If you haven't tried this place yet you need to come you won't be disappointed. A++++++“

“Good place to enjoy a drink. Easy finger foods and enchiladas. The owner is pretty cool and easy to talk to. He just wants his guest to enjoy their drinks and be safe. Also, it is a very clean place, no mess, outside, and inside. See you guys soon. One more thing he likes to collect currency from other countries, so if your lucky enough he might trade you for a drink ? ?.“

“"Island Hut" is a hidden gem sitting in plain sight. It's located on the corner of Lomita Blvd (x) Pennsylvania Ave--50 yards from the major intersection of Lomita Blvd (x) Crenshaw Blvd. The format is fast casual. You go to the counter to order and pay. If you are dining in, someone on staff will bring your food to the table. The dining room is clean and reasonably comfortable. There are two TVs on the walls. There's plenty of parking. This restaurant features a lot of meal sets you find if you were in Hawaii--spam and eggs, teriyaki, chicken katsu, ect. Primarily, I go for the loco moco. It's a hamburger patty and two eggs (sunny side up), served on top of steamed rice with beef gravy. There's also a side serving of macaroni salad. With a fountain drink and tax, my ticket is under $20.00. We don't have Zippy's in California, and this store spares me a drive to Gardena.“
