“Had a wonderful lunch with husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary We were provided with a glass of bubbly to toast - nice touch!! Our menus were printer with Happy Anniversary- another nice touch. The food was superb I had chicken spicy salad with avocado- delicious My husband had tacos and we started off with the albacore crudo- delicious!!! Thank you STRAND HOUSE for making our day extra special!!!“

“I was dining solo so I chose to sit at the bar instead of taking an entire table. The bartender still gave amazing customer service. She helped me choose sides and wine that went with the scallops I ordered. All of the food I had was amazing, but their scallops are my new favorite scallop dish, and save room for dessert!“

“Excellent breakfast and great coffee/au lait. A HUGE menu with even more options/specials posted around the space. Blueberry bacon pancakes were exactly my style. If you love the fruit, bacon, pancakes, egg yolks and syrup all in the same bite - this is the dish for you!“
“Great food, great drinks, great vibes. We sat outside on the patio with the firepit for brunch and our server was SO GREAT! Only note would me more salt on the fries but literally it's something you can fix yourself so I'll def be back“

“Had the best tortilla soup ever! And Chef Steven Lutz circulating through the restaurant to say hi and assure everyone having great food and service was a treat. Don’t miss the baked goods like banana cream pie. Amazing! Very pleased and will be back again!“

“Our best meal of the whole week in the US, wonderful wine selection with well known french labels. We had two beautiful bottles of Cheval Blanc 2014, fillet mignon and ribeye rubbed with coffee powder cooked to perfection. Definitely an experience I’d recommend“

“Last night my family: son, daughter-in-law, two teenage grandchildren, my wife and myself, had an outstanding dinner. Son and daughter-in-law are vegan, and the teen grandchildren are, let us say, picky eaters while my wife and I are more or less foodies. Every dish and drink order was raved about, ranging from the shared 7 cheese Mac & mushroom starter and the avacado hummus with just cooked pita bread, the blueberry lemonade the kids enjoyed, the farmers bowl my son had and the pasta dish my daughter-in-law enjoyed to my wife's simple fish and chips and my salmon. The desserts were also a hit from a burnt brown sugar cinnimon confection to a chocolate budino to a wonderful version of an apple turnover. Everything was a hit, which with this diverse group of eaters is amazing.“

“I love Love and Salt and have always been very satisfied with my food and experience there. Unfortunately the chicken dish I split with my girlfriends was extremely salty. I did let our waitress know so it would not happen to other guests! Thank you and look forward dining there again! Kathy Snyder“
