This market is a great place to get some middle eastern groceries that can be harder to find. A great selection. They also make really delicious food that is made to order, but still quick and very delicious. And, very conveniently, they have a great selection of vegan options on the menu, including falafel, bread, hummus, baba ganoush, salads, lentil stew, and stuffed grape leaves.
We were hungry for middle eastern food and heard about the International Market and Deli. We walked in and were warmly welcomed by mom and daughter who I think are the family who owns the business. They were so friendly and the whole market made me want to go shopping as well as eat. We got plates of shawerma and giros with two dolmas each plus a really nice salad for $13. I'm a local but I still go there at least twice a week. Clean, great service and above all very nice family that owns the place. Prices are reasonable compared to the area and other places. The shawarma meat is Halal. Can't wait for their new place a few blocks down the street on Lighthouse where they will serve more Mid eastern types of food. There will be a seating area besides parking too.
