“Tucked away in the back corner of a strip mall in Ardenwood, I was happy to finally notice Tramy's and give it a try for lunch. I had Basil Eggplant Chicken and my friend had the Special Combo with Lemongrass Pork (not pictured). Both dishes were aromatic, tender, juicy, and served very quickly and piping hot. My only note is that the eggplant dish is slightly on the oily side, so I added more rice to my leftovers. Service was fine, prices were good for the large portions, and the dining room had ample seating. Tons of free parking.“

“Pretty much the BEST pho in the Bay Area! Little English problem with some staff but more than happy to fix any (but very rarely) problems. LOTS of tables and parkimg. Big menu, pretty decent pricing, great proportions. There's even karaoke! The absolute best part is they are open late! Definitely a MUST visit!“

The weekends aren’t the same when he’s not in!He knows my orders, and my food preferences and the customer service is amazing! The food is great and we recommend all of our patients and friends to come here!Keep coming back y’all! But the guy with glasses up front most weekdays is Mike and he usually makes your experience the best. ?.“

“Been supporting this place most of my teens and college years, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a lot of variety such as , pho , Banh Mi , snacks , drinks and anyone looking for ready to go food. Come early sometimes lines can be long. Expect delays too , sometimes they are short staff and get help from security which really is a great help to them.“

“This is hands down the best vegetarian Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. The summer rolls were fresh and delicious. I also had the vegan duck soup which had a great broth. It’s owned by a sweet family. Support locally owned businesses and come!“

“Great little spot. Our family really enjoyed the bun bo hue and pho. Everything tasted homemade with no msg. Sugarcane drink was great too so I got an extra one to go. Wished they had regular pork egg rolls instead of only vegetables. Highly recommend!“

“This has been my favorite restaurant since my husband first introduced me several years ago! Exquisite food and exceptional service, always! If you are in the Bay Area, make reservations; this is a popular spot and the demand is high! The Tamarine Prawns are amazing! As is the Clay Pot Cod! Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!“

“My go-to guilty pleasure - garlic noodles with BBQ pork, so freaking good! I no longer live in the area, and none of the places within 40 minutes of me can compare to R and D. When I come into town to visit, I always bring a cooler so I can take a couple of meals home ??LOVE their honeydew slush!“

“This is my 2nd time at this location with my family. Each time we went on the weekend, it's super crowded. They are optimistic regarding seat wait times but it usually goes pass the estimated time, especially when you have a larger group. We asked the server while we waited for a table to order a medium fish first so it can arrive in a shorter amount of time when we get seated. We ordered the 7 course meal x2, along with 2 side orders and the medium fish. That was able to cover ~8 adults and 2 kids with leftovers. The food is delicious, the papaya salad has a good peanut crisp and feels refreshing. The main dish is to eat the fish in a wrap that you prepare on the table. My other favorite is the bo la lot, it's a lemon grass beef wrapped in a green leaf. The service was quick to get us our 7 course, we would see a server here and there occasionally. Overall, the food is awesome, I love it every time, they do have another location in San Jose if this one is crowded as an fyi.“

“A great BYO Asian bowl spot on Stanford campus! The place is pretty popular with students, so there tends to be a line around lunchtime. Bowls are around $12, all meats are the same price. There is no seating inside, just grab and go, but there are some nice seating areas right outside.I had a salad bowl with half tocino and half panko chicken. Loved the texture and flavor of both meats, and the variety and amount of vegetables I got in my bowl. The tocino pork had a great sweet and savory flavor and the panko chicken was crispy and tender.Topped it off with the sriracha mayo sauce.Would definitely return to try their other protein options!“

“Small, quaint spot. But service was dope. They're super nice. I decided to get a #4 and an iced coffee. While I waited, I was asked if I wanted my coffee strong or sweet. I got my coffee and was asked to see if it was to my liking, and it was perfect. The bahn mi was pretty good too and I got extra meat. Now THATS SERVICE. Although it's cash/VM only, the total was only $10. No tip was even asked. Vietnamese coffee at other shops go for $6 and up NOT INCLUDING TIP/TAX. This spot definitely deserves more praise. I'll definitely be coming by more often when I'm in the area“

“I've been going to pho lan for a while, and finally got around to trying their rice plate! The noise level was a bit high because they had a lot of customers, but that didn't compromise their service! I ordered the House Special rice plate. The grilled pork and chinese sausage were amazing! So flavorful and went very well with the sunny side up egg. The only thing that I didn't love was the shrimp cake. I'm a really big fan of shrimp cakes, especially if the layers around the cake itself is very crispy and light. But I was a bit disappointed by this one... very heavily covered in oil, and that seemed to weigh down the layers and make it slightly soggy. Honestly, a pretty great dinner! The portion is slightly too large for one person, but I didn't have enough leftovers to take home. The service was okay-- they never check up on our table, and we usually have to flag down a server for more water or any additional orders of food (Nothing that we can't handle). Would definitely come back again, but leaving out the shrimp cakes!“

“This has quickly become my favorite Vietnamese place! Clean, great service, and most of all very good food. 1- Vegetarian spring rolls: excellent, great peanut sauce. 2- Lemongrass spicy chicken stir fry- so flavorful and satisfying. 3- Vegetarian pho: excellent, so fresh! Highly highly recommend this place if you're looking for delicious, fresh, wholesome Vietnamese food.“
“Best tofufa all around. Mom and pop store. Made on site and hot. I hope they don't retire. There is no other place anywhere close to their tofu pudding. The store ones do not taste the same, even fine dim sum restaurants can't compare. Memories of childhood in Hong Kong buying it from street vendors in their wooden buckets. Go early. If it runs out, that's it. Bring cash.“

“Delicious banh mi‘s! I got pork bbq, and the meat was well done (was slightly dry), veggies fresh, bread not fresh enough to be crunchy and hold well (that’s a good thing!).Do get extra hot sauce. Also, they’re not cash only - they do take Zelle!“

“I have been a fan of this place since 2005. The food is always fresh and tasty with a consistency. Service is good and the interior update is a plus. I like trying other pho places whenever I have a chance but I never had any pho place better than Pho Kim Long for the price, quality, and taste. My favorite pho in this world.“

“Great portions and service!I called 10min prior and my BBQ pork sandwich was hot and ready for me upon arrival. As other reviews have stated, the bread was the perfect buttery-toasted state, and NOT so hard/crunchy that it'd hurt your mouth. There was a ton of meat in my sandwich, which was awesome! I think the marinade and the sauce could've used a little more flavor, though. There was plenty of sauce, but it was more of a generic mayo and the sandwich lacked a bit of acidity and sweetness, despite the bits of pickled veggies that were included.Next time, I'd be interested in trying their combination sandwich, but I don't know if I'd crave the BBQ pork one again due to its lack of flavor. The store is really spacious and there's plenty of seating, for those who wish to eat there!“

“This place is decidedly "unfussy". You come here for the food, not the soft lighting. It's clean and has been updated in the last few years, but still sports that hole-in-the-wall chic. It's been my main place for Pho over the past 15-20 years.Parking: It's downtown Mountain View. There's loads of free parking all around, but if you come during peak hours, expect to spend 10-20 minutes looking for a space.“

“I love the broth!!!! I can tell that you must have braised the broth forever since the broth was so good. I was busy each time my husband wanted to take me so I asked him to buy to go. OMG a I opened the door coming home to smell Pho all over my home. It felt as if I was at the restaurant. The aroma was pho-Ing good!!! The meat was pho-tastic.and I love the huge volume of onions and fresh tasking ginger in every bite. If you love pho or if you love noodles or if you love food, then you must visit this Pho Thin Ha Noi - pho-ing good.“

“My son used to work near here and this was his favorite lunch spot. He is in town visiting and while driving by good old Hayward on the way to a family event we had lunch there. He recommended the 27. Beef Sate with egg noodle soup. Wife and I shared one of those and shrimp spring roll, daughter in law had a fried shrimp plate and our son had his usual...#27. Service was good, food came out very fast although it was surprisingly busy for a Saturday afternoon. We shared the large 27 and it was a very generous serving with lots of beef and plenty of noodles. I was surprised by the fresh cucumbers in the soup, but that was very nice compliment along with the fresh mint and other accompaniments. The broth was very different flavor profile that I have ever had, you tasted the peanuts for sure and it was rich, flavorful and spicy. I enjoyed that soup very much and the spring rolls were fresh, crispy veggies inside and excellent peanut sauce, nice and creamy. Wife thought it was ok, my son loves it, daughter in law is a pass so mix review from the peanut gallery..... Very nicely decorated but parking is hard.“

“I like the fresh noodles and the meatballs, but the pho soup is a bit on the darker side and more oily. The fried egg rolls are tasty and well fried, with enough fillings, without being overloaded with taro or other items. You have to ask for fish sauce and lettuce though. Overall, another Americanized Vietnamese restaurant, but decent. This was the second time here within 5 days and I drove 20'minutes to get here. The staff was really helpful during a very busy lunch rush. Parking took quite a bit. This time, I called ahead and was there 10 minutes before closing. The fresh noodles for the pho, could use a bit more noodles overall.“

“The interior is pretty plain and setup for efficiency. Ate here in between games at twin creeks on a Saturday. The portions are reasonable although the chicken in the chicken and rice plate is thinly sliced so even thought there are three pieces it is not as big as it looks but cooked well not dry. Neither of us cared for the soup but the chicken, rice (big portion) and salad were good and filling. Also got Thai iced tea which was good.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an accessible space right outside“

“This place is located next to Starbread Bakery. Always plenty of parking in the complex. They also only take cash so bring cash with you or you can use the atm they have inside (but you have to pay a fee for using it) I have been going here for about a year and some months since I saw it by Starbread. I usually go for pho and my boyfriend gets the rice plates. I like that this place has my favorite eggyolk and condensed milk drink with sprite. The owner laughed at me the first time I ordered the drink and looked at my bf and said "she orders like she's Vietnamese " lol I like the drink leave me alone lol Anyway, I love the food, the service is always quick, and the place is always clean. I usually always get the same thing and it's always been consistently good. Maybe my only gripe about this place is that they don't take card but that doesn't really deter me from going here. This is probably my favorite pho place in Union City. Highly recommend !“

“I have been to their other location on Story but did not know they had one in the mall. It's on one of the side branches so I need see it , when we're lapping the main circle in the mall. Anyways it was decently busy when we arrived for lunch over the weekend. My friends got pho, the hubby got a com tam rice dish, and I got the turmeric catfish dish. The pho came out first, and very quickly. The kid devoured it up. And my friend really enjoyed his pho. The broken rice dish came with a gilled pork chop and lap xuong. It filled my SO up - with the meat, rice, fried egg, broth, salad and pickled veggies. My catfish dish took the longest to come out. The catfish and lots of dill, peanuts, and onions, came out on a sizzling hot plate. Then a side plate was filled with vermicelli noodles, big leaves of lettuce, cucumber, raw onions, a very fishy sauce, and fried sesame rice paper looking thing. It was so much food. I think I got 4-5 pieces of the lettuce to make the wraps and I finished those but still had a bunch of everything else. I took a little more than half home. It was very good and I enjoyed it very much. Nice to know they have a pho option in at the mall.“

“This was my first time there. I kinda found it by accident. It proved to be a great accidental find!I had the vegan fish sandwich with aioli sauce. The sandwich was really good and it was loaded with vegetables. It tasted so much like fish I had to ask the owner what the fish was made of. As it turned out the vegan fish is made room tofu and imported from Taiwan. I know firsthand that Taiwan is known for making mock meats from soy that taste like the “real” thing. The owners appear to be upgrading the restaurant. So the aesthetics were not quite there yet.But the sandwich I had tasted really good and that was the most important thing for me. I do recommend it for a quick bite (no pun intended). And I also plan to come again next time I’m in Mountain View.Five stars on taste and presentation for me. I hope this review helps.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian friendly“

“Growing up in a Vietnamese household, it is difficult to find a restaurant that makes their dishes taste like a home-cooked meal. The difference is the passion and love. This is a family owned restaurant. I ordered the pork chop rice plate (com tam thit nuong). One bite and you can tell that the owner cooks every piece of food on that plate like she would cook for her own children. That loving motherly touch is undeniable. The pork chop is cooked so that it’s not burnt or dry. Not too salty. The vegetables are meticulously cleaned and picked out. The egg yolk is perfectly runny with crispy on the edges. The baguette is warm and comforting. And more than the tastes is the warm loving feeling that ensues. The parking lot is free and has plenty of spaces. Service is straight to the point, no fluff. You come, order, eat. Lunchtime is quite busy so time your visit accordingly. The people here works hard to serve quality and loving food. Can’t recommend enough.“

“My partner and I ordered the grilled chicken banh mi to spilt just as something to tie us over until dinner time. The serving size was good and did the job we needed it to. The flavor was so fresh from all of the veggies and the sauce was sweet which I quite enjoyed, my partner, not so much. The inside is a very cute decor with plenty of seating both inside and outside. The restaurant had a very strong chemical smell which let me know it was clean but was pretty harsh to smell throughout a meal. Make sure you bring a card to pay as this place does not accept cash. Also, keep in mind that a 10% gratuity is added to every bill automatically.“
