“This is a hidden gem - the paninis are great. The salads are great. I placed an order for a work event I was having nearby, I had probably 20 items on my order. The order was ready on time and all of the items were labeled (which made my job of distributing them so much easier). Everything was very fresh! From the moment we walked up to the ordering/pickup window, a super friendly and helpful employee greeted us. He gave us awesome recommendations for their popular smoothies and toast. We couldn't wait to try the Pink Dragon and PB + Banana smoothies, and let me tell you, they were absolutely delicious! The cup size was just right, and we couldn't get enough of the Garden Toast with its flavorful feta and zesty lemon. They even have a seating area where we enjoyed our fantastic experience. “Learned about kava very recently as a muscle relaxant and an alternative for people that don't generally drink. It's also great for focus, so wouldn't mind studying here either. “Really good seating! Great pesto sandwich. Wonderful new chill coffee shop. Staff was eager to please. Once they iron out a few things (like having iced tea for non-coffee drinkers and hot days), they're gonna have lines out the door to get a table. I'm an NYC expat and I do my best work on my laptop at a coffee shop. Can't wait to come back and try the coffee!“

“Honestly out of all the boba spots within a mile radius of CSUN, my honest opinion would say this is the best. As you walk in you are greeted by the individual at the front and ready to answer any questions on their menu. Although the place isn't ran by young students and isn't necessarily "hip", the service is still extremely nice and welcoming. Pricing on the drinks are also very reasonable and similar to the other boba shops in the area. The drinks were really refreshing. Would highly Recommend coming and trying this place if you go to CSUN or happen to be in the area!“

“Great smoothies, you can’t go wrong with pretty much anything on the menu. Very quick service, around 1-2 min from when we ordered we got our smoothies. The inside of the store is nicely decorated but can be very loud with the workers blending and making the smoothies.Parking: Find parking on the street a little ways away and walk so that you don’t have to pay for parking in-front of the store.“

“Wonderful spot to have breakfast. The parking is sorta limited, so I do recommend getting there early. Food was delicious! Ordered the Spinach Eggs Benedict with O’Brien potatoes (don’t think it’s on the menu, but you can ask for an extra charge). But I will be asking them next time to grill the veggies a bit more since I have a strange dislike of raw onion and peppers but obsessed with them heavily grilled. Gave them to hubby who enjoyed them as he only had an inkling for just some biscuits and gravy. He was perfectly content! Now if I can only persuade him to split breakfast with me next time. ?“

Before, the food and decor were fine but I didn’t feel the need to come back; it was a little pricey for the experience. I saw a flyer saying it’s under new management so decided to give it another try. It’s very different now in all the best ways. It’s a really cute spot now with much better food. “Spent the weekend in LA with some friends and we were just about to leave the valley and drive back to the Bay Area. I really didn't want any fast food, so we decided to make a quick stop. Found DC Donut Cafe on Yelp and saw pictures of these huge fluffy croissants. They are tucked in the corner of the 7-11 parking lot. Came in at the perfect time, a group just walked out and there was no line! Greeted by a very friendly woman (guessing she is the owner). Placed my order - she recommended to add avocado and that was a great addition. I watched as they cooked fresh eggs, warmed the bacon on the griddle and started to build the sandwich. Yes, the croissants are as large and fluffy as they look, but they also taste incredible. All the flaky layers of dough!!!!! Everything is so fresh here and everyone is also very friendly. So happy to find another great food spot for our LA adventures!“

They have an interesting drinks selection outside of the typical flavors. I've tried many different flavors but my favorites are Roasted Oolong Tea (w/ house cream) , Genmiacha Green Tea (w/ house cream), Ladybug (passion fruit), and Guava Sunset. I usually get all the drinks less sweet (50%), but sometimes the sweetness consistency isn't there so 75% may be a safer option. Initially I also really enjoyed their boba but lately the texture has been off so I haven't been ordering it.. Highly recommend to download their phone app and order pick up. You can get points towards future orders and save on time. It does take awhile for them to make the orders. Overall, I really like Teaspoon and I'm here at least once a week!“
