“this place has consistently good pizza. Growing up I was never allowed to eat pepperoni pizza since it was not Halal, and once i was able to find Halal pepperoni, it was still not that appetizing. All that changed with big Al’s pizza. Their beef brisket used to be my favorite, but now I like the simple pepperoni. The saltiness of the pepperoni complements the cheese and sauce so well. The crust is amazing and is chewy yet crispy. just recently I became pregnant and could not tolerate any food during my first and second trimester however, big Al’s pepperoni pizza saved me as it was one of the only foods I could eat. It was delicious and provided me some nutrition as well and I’m sure when my baby grows up inshallah, he too will love big Al’s pizza.Dietary restrictions: Halal“

“Better than Shawarma house?? I think so! (Not to knock shawarma house I love they place) I got the beef shawarma wrap and pretty damn good. Meat was juicy, soft and flavorful. Fresh veggies and deliciously soft bread. Tabbouleh salad was awesome too. Citrusy, sour, and fresh with the right amount of garlic. The garlic sauce and hot sauce was amazing as well. Hot sauce had a earthy flavor I couldn't put my finger on but went great with the garlic. The owner and his (what I assume to be) daughter were awesome too. Friendly and welcoming. 10/10 will be back!“

“Good food. Uzbekistan food so it is ethnic and authentic. Lamb was very good and I usually don't like lamb. I encourage asking about the dishes and desserts. Service is good and is what I expect in a small business which was friendly. Ambiance is like a small cafe that shows some cultural linen on the wall and ceilings. I liked the place but it needs an open mind and palate to enjoy properly.“

“Food and customer service are next level at Hummus Way. Our first visit, we arrived at 7:02 not realizing they closed at 7. The manager was kind enough to serve us take out with the food he hadn't packed up yet and was super friendly the entire time. Even at the end of the day, the food was SO fresh and flavorful. You can't beat the quality and quantity for the price. There are a few things, like the garlic wedges, that may seem overpriced but once you get them you'll realize they're worth it. My very selective kid happily demolishes an entire adult sized bowl of food, from raw spinach to garlic sauce to perfectly marinated chicken. We will continue coming back regularly. The manager has been wonderful each time we've been in. The restaurant is super clean. There are no negatives other than the early closing time.Vegetarian options: Mushroom shawarma is amazing if you're a vegetarian who misses meat texture. The texture is spot on to shawarma.Kid-friendliness: My kid has sensory issues and is incredibly selective with food. She's not normal kid picky, she's bougie kid picky. “The husband and I visited this place today. We were hanging with some friends from Tennessee on zoom and thought it only appropriate to get some Nashville hot chicken. I've seen Dave's since it entered this plaza and seen multiple locations pop up. The service here was friendly and the cashier even got us little tasting cups of the spice so we could determine what spice level to get. I got spicy and my husband got medium. We both ordered the combo #3 slider and tender with fries. The reason we ordered so much is because when you hear the word slider, don't you think of something small? Perhaps the size of your fist... well it's bigger! They should just call it a chicken sandwich! First few bites was tasty but as I got to the mid point, I decided this style of thick breading is not my favorite. The heavy amount of seasoning as well as the fact that it's a bit sweet was just not something I cared for personally. I enjoyed everything including the fries, pickles and sauce but personally wouldn't come back. I guess I'm a Chick Fil A girl at heart (of course today is a Sunday).“

“This review is for the Top Loaded milkshake (Oreo) and Paul, not a full chicken experience, so don't come at me, Yelpers. It was after 10pm and my husband and I were on the road, needing to attend to a family member who had been hospitalized. I needed a beverage, but the Target in the plaza was closing, and it looked like a long wait to checkout there. We saw that Dave's was still open, so ran over to get a fountain beverage. Saw the sign for the Top Loaded milkshake, and decided to go for it. Paul was working the the register, energetic and cheerful about personal flavor preferences. He split the shake for us (since it was Valentine's) for us - thereby preventing us from making a mess, stirring the toppings up - AND overfilled it, basically giving us a free shake. It felt like we each got a sleeve of Oreos in each shake. The design was great - I like my cookie bits crunchy, and these were real huge chunks of Oreo, not crumbs. For someone who's always paying for 3x the topping/filling when getting a DQ Blizzard, this was exactly what I wanted. Paul's ebullient demeanor (you can tell the guy absolutely loves his business and its food offerings) and generosity were unexpected and just the thing to end an otherwise bad day for us. We'll be back to try the chicken and other offerings proper!“

“I come to Anaheim every once in a while, but every time I come I need to go to Byrd's Hot Chicken. This place has made me realize that maybe my spice tolerance isn't as good as I thought it was. That being said, the chicken is so good no matter the spice level. This is the place for anyone whether you want some delicious chicken or you want to test your spice tolerance. Byrd is always friendly and he takes all the orders. He encourages you to up your spice, but he also looks out for your well being. Overall this is one of the best chicken places I've ever been to, an easy 5 stars.“

“My review is long overdue, and this place deserves all the best! Went here a few weeks ago. It's inside of a Smart Kitchen amongst at least 10 other restaurants. There's plenty of tables and benches out front to eat on, but don't expect this to be a dine-in sit down spot. I ordered a few plates off their menu because I was so eager to try it. Reading the other reviews and seeing pics I could tell this place was legit! I live in Santa Monica and wish this restaurant was closer. The food is extremely clean and delicious! Everything was so fresh and the portions are perfectly sized. You can tell everything is homemade. My favorite thing about House of Cedar is that it isn't your typical greasy fast food pick up. It's easy to tell everything is made with love and care. I went overboard and ordered kibbeh, beef shawarma (the only place I've ever been that uses filet mignon!!!! One of the most expensive premium cuts, no fat, just melt in your mouth delicious meat), chicken soup, lentil soup, and a chicken shish-tawouk plate (white meat seasoned chicken breast) -- all for myself, and I've never been so pleased! The owner was welcoming and such a pleasant person to speak to, he filled me in on all of the details pertaining to each dish and even recommended some special tweaks to a few of the dishes to tailor them to my liking. (Like adding French fries to the beef shawarma - Arabic style). I promise I'll take more pictures next time I was just too busy eating to remember! When I say the food is extremely delicious, I mean it, I'm still craving that filet mignon beef shawarma (almost on a daily), and I can't wait to go back and get some more!!! Wishing the owner continued success and hoping they get their own brick and mortar soon enough! It’s easy to tell this restaurant uses quality ingredients, from the top notch cuts of meat to the freshest vegetables. “We ordered the sloppy Zach and the beefy Zach. They take pride in making the sandwiches. Everything about the sandwiches was balanced between the flavor and just the right amount of spice. The sandwiches was not too greasy and brioche was pillow-y. The wait was worth it. Until next time.“

“Biryani Boys nailed their concept: delicious fast casual Pakistani food. While Indian and Pakistani food are similar, they're not exactly the same. This is authentic Pakistani comfort food. We got a biryani bowl and a Frankie roll. Both were generously sized, perfectly seasoned and came in great packaging. Love their signage and graphics; graphics are definitely an ode to Pakistan and we loved seeing it. Packaging was high quality. I think they compare themselves to Chipotle but they are definitely superior to them in every way. We also got the iced Pink Kashmiri tea which was delicious, refreshing and a nice twist on the original traditionally hot tea. Hope they open a physical location soon! Laghman was delicious with thick noodles, some bell peppers and yummy broth. Inside is very nice - decor, light, tables. Bill for take out was $45 for 3 people with plenty of food. “Stopped by their pop up at my Paramount Apartment and got this awesome little combo for 14$ with a drink. Food is really good, never had Indonesian but I like it. The textures in the noodles are delicious and there's little sides of fermented veggies, crispy garlic, and a spicy little chilli. All the flavors are good and there's a great portion size. I think the noodles have so much flavor I forgot there was yummy bits of chicken. Will visit their in store restaurant next for lumpia!“
