Had a great experience when visiting on a Friday evening at 7pm without a reservation. We quickly got a table and got prompt service.They offer cocktails (~$15) both with and without alcohol. Came here as a group of 5 to catch up with some family friends. We split a beet salad and the octopus (the latter was delicious and I don’t even usually like octopus!) In terms of entree, I opted for the porcini and ricotta cappalletti which was on the more Al-dente side. Only ding was the dessert- wasn’t a fan of the ricotta cheesecake.

Update: May 2024Vina Enoteca has grown up. It has matured into a stellar Italian fare. Reasonable prices for the food and atmosphere. All dishes were tasty although slightly on the bland side. Plays it safe. Hope the place ages well.****Food was fabulous. Great atmosphere. Trendy interior. Slightly pricey but it is Palo Alto after all.
