I get Comb 2 spicy level Hot, which is mild with a Spicy kick paired with their mustard sauce to compliment it, an Extra hot to pair it with they’re regular hot sauce for the cool down. It’s 50cents per extra sauce which I tend extra because I dip my fries in them.I also love how they have specials which is great for anyone going to school & are on a budget.I believe it’s a mom & pop restaurant so you know it’s good food.Parking: If you can’t find parking in the lot you can always park on the street & walk. It’s not that big of a distance the food is worth it.“

“My go-to for takeout, but there is an inviting dine-in area with enough space for a few tables. The customer service is consistently swift; my phone orders are ready upon my arrival. The pricing is appropriate, offering generous portions. My usual half-and-half combo (chicken and beef) includes rice, hummus, pita bread, and a refreshing salad. Although I tend to forget to swap the salad for fries, another diner had them on their plate and they looked so yummy. Every element is expertly seasoned, resulting in consistency.“

“The food is exceptional! I ordered a catering order for a graduation party-The food arrived on time and was amazing. My father raved over the chicken tikka masala saying it surpassed his favorite restaurant in New York and my husband who travels to India for business thought the paneer was the best he's ever had. Additionally, my children have tree nut and peanut allergies and their food is nut free which is quite difficult to find. I highly recommend the food. You will not be disappointed.“

“I planned on eating Ralphs sushi and stumbled upon the truck to give it a try. Ended up eating here two days in a row. What a gem! Very generous portions. Fresh food and amazing taste! I’ve never had anything like this. YOU MUST GET THE MANY. My friend and I were licking the plates. It’s like dumplings, but sooooo much better. The pilaf and Shurpa are also delicious and so filling.“

“I contacted Misah regarding catering for my birthday party for 30 people. From the very start, Misah and his staff were polite, professional, and friendly. My wife took me to the restaurant for lunch to sample the food a couple of days before the party. Misah was very nice in person as well. The food was freshly prepared and very delicious. All the sides were good as well; the lentil soup, cucumber yogurt, and hummus. He offered us free desserts to sample. Their homemade baklava is so good. When they prepare your catering order, they cook the kabob close to your pickup time so that it is hot and fresh when you get home. They use very good quality containers for transporting the food. Our party guests loved the food so much that we barely had any leftovers for the next day. We will definitely eat at Chelo in the future. It is a small hidden gem in Van Nuys.“

“Wow. I liked Indimex before they changed management, now I love it! I wrote a review 7 years ago with a follow up 6 years ago pre covid. Remember when? During Covid and even more recently, I would order and have it delivered. But tonight I saw they were open and there was parking space right in front so I went in person. Wonderfully warm new owner, quaint dining room albeit small but remodeled and the new owner has plans for more. - feels more authentically Indian with a Mexican twist. Indian movie posters and music, colorful walls and tables. Their Chicken Tikka Masala sauce is the real deal as is the raita. Delicious. The chicken tikka masala quesadillas are reasonable and filling. I'm so glad they survived Covid and with this new management I'm excited to see what comes next. “Took a take out after reading their reviews and a long day at universal studios. The portion was a lot but the chicken was dry not soft and juicy unlike other Mediterranean joints.Their chicken wraps were good though.We were visiting the studios so stopped here on last day for dinner take out.“

“We love this place! Our family has been eating at, and enjoying, Moun of Tunis for many years. Ben, an amiable Tunisian, is still the owner and Paul, a very friendly and accommodating fellow, is still the principal server. The food quality is consistently excellent and the quantity of food served is mind-blowing, but the prices are still quite reasonable. It's a mystery to me how they do that. “Came here after work and this place is a little hidden gem! It's located in a small strip mall with random shops next to it, so it's very unassuming. I came in and was greeted by the staff. They quickly took my order for takeout and was told it would be about 20 mins. Food was ready by the time I came back and it smelled amazing. I got the mixed lule kebab plate and it had a beef and chicken lule over rice. Sides of salad, hummus, , pita bread, and veggies (separate in a bag). Flavor was on point, however the lule was slightly on the drier side but not terrible. For the price, it hit the spot. It was a huge portion and I ended up having a small portion of leftovers the next day. Not sure how it compares to other Mediterranean restaurants in the area, but it wasn't bad.“

“Had one of their combo meals via delivery. Goat curry, saag paneer and a mixed veg dish with rice, naan and raita. Everything was delicious, certainly some of the best Indian food I've had close to mid city. Very much appreciate that they serve goat and have dishes on the menu that are outside the standard Indian menu you see at most places in the area. Looking forward to going in person and trying their balti dishes as well as the paya. "Very very spicy" here seems to mean mildly spicy, so if you're a chili head like me best to let them know you mean business. The cilantro mint chutney was probably the best I've ever had-so fresh. “The best Indian place in Sherman oaks/ Studio City area. You should actually go there to eat and experience the great service they have. Their servers are the best servers I’ve experienced in LA. They even helped us find a place to park!! The food is also the best in the area. Recommend getting the cheesy garlic naan. It’s to die for. Also try their home made hot sauce. I would drink that thing if they put it in a cup.“

We also got the brisket fries and those were just okay. They put bbq sauce on top which is fine, but maybe too much because it overpowered the taste of the meal.The Oreo milkshake we ordered for dessert was a perfect way to end the meal. “Dave's hotbox with fires is excellent and feeds 3-4 people. Sandwiches are great but it's not that spicy. Fast service and it's open late which is nice. The only issue I have with it is that their toast is not very good. It's just white bread not that special“

“FYI- HOURS LISTED HERE ARE NOT CORRECT. ***I'm here now and they are closed. When you are calling them as I did an hour before, it rings out and eventually says the mailbox is full. That's happened in the past but arrived and they were open. So I guess you will not know if they are open or not during those times.“

I’m docking a point though because it wasn’t the cleanest when I first arrived there, and there was only the owner who worked there with no helping hand or support which did delay my plans a little bit. She wasn’t there initially either when I arrived, so I was going to leave after waiting a few mins despite ringing the bell and calling. She makes good food, but she also charged extra for miscellaneous things and did not share or disclose prices of other dishes that I ordered or additional naans that were “offered” - there were pictures of dishes on the wall and a general cost of $19.99 which appeared to be for all dishes, but unfortunately that is not the case. The door alarm constantly went off too because I sat near the door and little movements would trigger it.“

“Had my first taste of Afghan cuisine here. The restaurant offered all the classic dishes and it all tasted amazingly. The service was great, the food came out quickly and hot and I keep thinking about how good it all was. We tried the sabzi, mantu, aushak, kabuli pulao and bolani. Highlight was definitely the lamb in the kabuli pulao -- it was tender and cooked perfectly. My only wish was that the restaurant was nearer to where I live! One other thing to note is that the menu did NOT have any of the Afghan items listed. The staff said they're getting new menus printed soon with the full menu.“
