I’m a plain glazed donut fan. Randy’s is so far the best I’ve had in So Cal. My all time favorites though are Stan’s in Sunnyvale and Shipley’s in Dallas. Give those a try if you’re in those areas. Since I don’t live in those other areas I go to Randy’s when I’m craving a solid glazed donut. My wife loves the glazed blueberry donut which is quite unique and one we haven’t seen elsewhere.
I do prefer the character & originality of the Inglewood location, plus it's become somewhat of an unofficial tradition to make a pit stop just before heading back to LAX. However, after having dinner in the area recently, my friend (a local Angeleno) & I took the opportunity to check out the Pasadena outpost of Randy's Donuts which opened in late 2020. Parking was tricky, and the building is under construction out front, so can only enter through the back, very small store. Friendly staff small line. Not very many donuts out, the ones they had were probably there all day, definitely weren't fresh. Kind of disappointed with this location. I've been to the original and never had a bad experience. I would not recommend this location or return unfortunately, also no where to sit
