This place does hit the spot when you are craving some soup. It's a small hole in the wall where there is just 1 cook and a server/cook. The server fries stuff as well if you order anything that needs frying. I like the old man's soup that has a little bit of tendon, beef, and tripe. Little veggies but it is enough for one person. First time coming to even life and the house special hot pot was very flavorful. We also added the fried dumpling and green onion pancake. Unfortunately we were originally were coming here for the Enoki Beef Rolls and the fried squid which they did not have available. Service was ok but could have been more accommodating. Server didn't ask ask for our drink order until we asked. Ambiance was really quiet.
