“We LOVE LOVE this restaurant!! We are repeat customers and today we were the first customers to be served the new plant based Black Sheep Lamb Burger!! It was absolutely delicious. It’s always wonderful to have plant based, vegetarian and vegan options on a menu. We love Greek and Mediterranean cuisine and are thrilled Jayna Gyro are in Sacramento now. “I eat here a couple times a month and always order the chicken patter with a side of hot sauce. Owner is really nice and doesn't rush the food. Best to call ahead since staff is small and can get backed up with orders. Wish they would give more Naan bread with order, since it's very tasty bread. In my opinion, better than falafel corner and Petra Greek. I'll be back for sure!“

“We stopped in for dinner as I finished a workout at the next door Planet Fitness and was drawn by the beautiful patio. Too chilly to sit outside, we diner indoors and enjoyed the incredibly eclectic decor as we reviewed the menu. We both chose a platter, me chicken, my friend lamb. They started with an incredible lentil soup. I dove in before I thought to get a good photo. It was really flavorful and creamy. The waitress said the appetizer was whatever the chef decided and we each got an interesting variety, all of it was very good. Entrees were plentiful and did not disappoint. We left satisfied, stuffed, and with enough food for 2 more meals. Highly recommend Sumer Nights. My one observation, the elevator music kills the vibe. It definitely isn't it. We would have enjoyed something more appropriate to the menu. Overall, great find!“

“This place is soo good! We got the Beef and lamb Gyro with fries, first of all, i usually get scared of crinkle cut fries, because most of the time they are soggy. This place doesn’t disappoint though, the fries were crispy and the seasoning on them was SO GOOD. The gyro was filled to the max and was delicious as well. Not to mention all you could hear in the back was the food being prepped and the fries going into the oil, the guy made it all fresh, we will definitely be coming again!“

Everybody was great in this place (not just workers) we ended up having lunch and had the greatest conversation with worldly and cultured people. “YESSSSS!!! I'm happy I found this place. It's not far from me, it's a locally owned small business and the people are friendly. I'm shocked it wasn't packed with people, but I got there after the lunch rush, still, you should try it. It's worth the drive. Was in the mood for something different, my typical go-to foods are usually burgers, Mexican food, or Chinese food, but I saw this in the search when I looked for "Food near me". I got a Lamb Gyro ($9.99) and added a combo for an additional $3.99.The combo gives you one side and a canned drink. From the time I ordered, it took less than 10 minutes to get my food which was piping hot and given to me in a small paper bag...it felt heavy like a lot of food. when I got home I spilled the contents out on a dinner plate and it overflowed. There was no way I could fit the fries and the Gyro on one plate (see the photo!) If you're a big eater you will be happy! Most Gyro places shave the meat, this place gives you about 1cm x 1cm chunks of lamb gyro. in a big fat pita with shaved lettuce and sauce. There was LOTS of meat, probably twice what most other places give you! They don't skimp on the fries. As you can see by the photo, they give you enough to fill a 9" dinner plate. They're the seasoned kind and will stay crispy and not get soggy. The bottom line is they give you tasty food and LOTS of it. A great value especially compared to the other Gyro place I reviewed about a month before this which was more expensive, didn't taste as good, and gave you less food.“

“Finding high quality falafel in the Bay Area can be difficult at times. This restaurant did not disappoint at all. My family ordered from their variety of salads and platters. The chicken was moist and delicious. The falafel crisp and fresh. I will gladly return to this establishment whenever I am in the mood for Mediterranean food.“
