Love the popcorn chicken here. Crispy and not overly battered, not too salty, and they give a good amount. Service is a bit slow, but it has a very 'lax atmosphere. I see a lot of students hanging out there to study or even just hang out. Haven't really tried much of the drinks except the simple teas, which was good.
Came here on a late night to do some studies and was a little hungry. This place is such a hidden gem and i'm glad I stumbled upon it. We ordered the tomato noodle soup, the minced pork rice and french fries. Food was so good it has a very cozy, home style cooking element to it. Came here on a weekday so there was lots of seating available. The ambience is nice and quiet with some music. Our waiter delivered our food to us in a manely time. I wanted to check out the new 2024 "Luxurious Linen" collection at this San Gabriel location. Instead the collection tasted like wonderful boba drinks. They even have edible accessories like popcorn chicken and Boulettes de Calmar (Squid Balls). I think all Bananza Republic should be like this.
