“Long overdue review of our newest sushi spot. Our family has been going to the same sushi restaurant for more than a decade. That spot had a full house one night and the kiddos couldn't wait for a table. They were starving and are unforgivingly picky. Not a good combination when you're searching for a good sushi spot that can appease both choosy children and grandparents.Any exploration of a different spot had previously left us disappointed so we came to Sushi Pro with low expectations. Lo and behold, everybody was happy?! The grandparents loved it (appetizers and donburis), the kids kept asking for more (ikura, chawanmushi, and chicken karage), my equally picky husband finished everything he ordered (omakase, JT Special Hand Roll). I enjoyed everything. The fried squid appetizer and omakase are my favorite. Top it all off, the service is superb. We had A large party with 3 kids under 6 and the staff constantly checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I liked Sushi Pro so much that I came back that week for a lunch meeting. Ms. Van, the manager remembered me and even asked how my kids were doing and whether they enjoyed the food. We came here by chance and keepcoming back because of the good food and great service provided by Van and her team.I am thrilled to have one more option and two favorite spots now.“

“I'm a SJ native and this is THE SPOT. You will not be disappointed with any plate you choose. From the moment you want in, you always greeted. The service staff is on top of it. The food is bombbbbb!! They have special from Monday-Friday. I'm here at least 2-4 times a week. From seafood to meat and the best drinks! BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN TOWN .“

“Friendly staff, great rolls, average price. Their Super Paradise was very tasty as was the Philadelphia roll & the spicy tuna roll. The staff were very attentive and got us in and out quickly. The place is nice, dark, and quiet. I'd call it "cozy". I'd come back again to this neighborhood restaurant.“

“We stumbled into this charming little Japanese restaurant during one of our visits to our kids house. The food was outstanding, sushi was so fresh , best fish I've had. The salad dressing was to die for , sesame dressing. We ordered so much food I can't remember all we had. However, every thing was so fresh and tasty. Service was excellent. We will definitely go back“

“What a gem. My son and I randomly walked in for dinner and to our surprise we found a cool Japanese pirate themed restaurant. I know that sounds weird, but they did a great job. The place is very clean, the workers are very nice, and the food was solid. We will be back.“

“Been coming here for years. My old favorite was the baked scallop roll. My new favorite is the hamachi crudo and tartar. Last night I tried the sweet Suzy too and really enjoyed the sweet roll. They gave us all miso soup and a bowl of edemame to share. It’s a small place but we had no issues getting a table on a Tuesday. We did a lot of to go during Covid. Never had an issues with wrong orders and even got a free item once. The yellowtail crudo had nice thick cuts and so much flavor.Agedashi tofu was just ok. It’s pretty and they serve everything separate so you can put what you want in it. Not sure we would order it again. Not a cheap dinner for 4 but I always love coming here at a nice treat!Didn’t get photos of all the other rolls we got.“

“I had a good lunch here today. This is a small hole in the wall that serves up good food. I remember coming here when they had a different name and if I remember correctly, this is an upgrade. The staff was attentive and courteous. I enjoyed the special match tea and the bento box. The salmon was fresh and like butter. I was not as big of a fan of the chicken katsu.“

“Most restaurants located next to supermarkets tend to have good food. I give the food 9/10, it would have been a perfect score but the salad was old and still served. It was the brown old, and bitter salad that no one wants to eat. The dressing on the salad was so good gobbled it down.Parking: Parking is crazy on weekends and during mealtimes“

“We came here on a Friday night 3/22 around 5:30pm. We're seated right away at the sushi bar. The place started getting extremely busy and all the tables were occupied by 6:30pm. They had 1 main sushi chef then a second cook came out to help. 2 waitresses on staff that were all working very hard non stop, but can't seem to keep up with the patrons and DoorDash standing by. We ordered the Rainbow roll - very fresh Tiger dragon roll - love this roll Spicy tuna roll - one of the best Kanpachi nigiri - it was okay Hamachi nigiri- very good and fresh Scallop - will not order again Ebi - just okay. We will definitely come back, but on a different day of the week when they not as busy.“

“If it ain’t Fish and Things then why are we going? The menu items have a huge variety, and something for everyone, even the ones that don’t eat enjoy raw fish. They offer an extra scoop of protein than you normally see with the large size being 5 scoops of protein instead of the usual 4. They offer more protein variety, than I’ve seen at any neighboring poke spot with some amazing marinated choices. The cooked salmon tacos are my go to, but the sushi tacos are a great choice as well. The poke bowls are sinful with numerous topping options, a crazy amount of sauces to chose from and fresh produce that tastes like it’s just been chopped. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, and well lit and when you walk in you notice the posh feel. The ingredients are fresh and high quality, the fish is immaculately displayed. They have a nice point system that takes money off your purchase after so many points which is nice especially if you go the way I do. They have some bottled drinks at the front but I’ve never purchased drinks there. The price is fair, the poke bowls are a couple dollars more expensive than the neighboring poke restaurants but you get an extra scoop of protein as I mentioned. I recommend this place to all the sushi lovers, the cooked fish lovers, the I just want tacos and I want sushi so I’m gonna eat sushi tacos people. The I really could use a cooked salmon burger folks, come on down you’ll love this place.“

“We are regulars here. We've done both done in and doordash from here. The sushi is great with a good variety, the sushi chefs are awesome and friendly. One of our favorites is the salmon belly but we haven't had anything here we haven't loved. This visit we each got a bento.“

“There is a dearth of "good" sushi restaurants in this area of San Jose, so it's welcome when a good one opens up. We've now visited Miyuki twice. The selection of rolls is solid, and there are a couple of sashimi platters to choose from--they're all ...fine. If I were to nitpick, the scallops on the big sashimi plate we ordered, I swear they tasted like they've been steamed rather than raw. Or maybe it's just me; they didn't taste like the best scallop. But anyway, the restaurant is fine enough that we'll be returning.“

“Over due for a revie here. Been coming here for over 2 years now and the food is always consistent which is key when it comes to food quality. The bento boxes are my favorite and they give a generous amount enough for even some takeout. I love it here me and hubby enjoy coming here for their lunch menu. Price is reasonable. Highly recommend“

“I've been wanting to try this place since middle school and that was 10 years ago. Safe to say, I have finally tried it. It didn't disappoint either! Service was alright, it took a bit of time to flag down our host. There's a ton of seating but luckily we didn't have to wait because it wasn't busy at all. What we ordered: Bibimbap (not hot stone): 5/5 There's tons of veggies and protein!!! For the price, it is very worth it. Budae Stew: 2/5 I was expecting a hot stone or a bigger bowl of it considering the price, this wasn't worth it. There was barely any tofu or noodles, mostly broth. Overall, I would be back for the bibimbap!“

“First time trying the sushi here. I was quite pleased with the experience. The fish were good and they offer a lot of different roll options. We also tried the soft shell crab and that was pretty good. I like how they also have non sushi option. We opted for some bbq rib rice and that was delicious. Service was excellent. Plenty of seats here as well.“

“Our group of 4 had an excellent experience here. We started with edamame and sake and then shared 7 different rolls. The taste and presentation on all of that was great. The Catherine , Island Breeze, Caterpillar, Angry Bird and Royal Blast were the rolls that we got and loved them all.Our server was polite and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend this place.“

“We were visiting from New Jersey and stumbled upon this eatery. The restaurant was clean, and the waiter was sweet and attentive. The food was hot and tasty, and the portion was satisfying. I tried the Thai iced tea, and it was refreshing. I had the basil stirfry with chicken and a side of rice, while my wife had the red noodle; they were both great choices. I met the owner, and he was friendly, accommodating, and grateful. Great experience; now that's what I'm talking about.“

“I used to stop by this place a lot while with my last employer in 2023. My fav is always the Dragon roll but sadly didn't order it this time. Overall the food is good, quite busy around lunch time. Servers are very friendly. 9/10 would stop by again soon.“

“I should keep this gem to myself but I have to give our favorite sushi spot a glowing review. Sushi rolls here are always fresh and delicious. We usually order take out and it's ready to go no later than 30 mins during busy times (like weekend dinner time). Everyone at the restaurant we've interacted with is always super friendly. The restaurant is clean and quiet inside too if you'd like to dine in. All their speciality rolls are great and they have some really solid veggie rolls too - beyond just e basic cucumber and avocado rolls!“

“This is the old Ariake location but happy to say, the sushi is a big upgrade here! If you like rolls: hand rolls, baked rolls, fried, rainbow, saucy, not saucy, vegetarian, or chock full of fish, this is a great spot. Being new and in all, I walked in on a Sunday and there was plenty of seating left. Service is very friendly and food came in a swift manner. I especially liked that their rice to fish ratio is great. And they let us modify a couple of rolls to the way we liked them. My best friend hates unagi but loves unagi sauce, so we switched up some rolls to her liking and got a side of sauce for everyone to share. They were very pleasant and accommodating. Their menu is quite extensive, and again, modifiable so there's something for everyone here.“

“I would say this is one of the top Japanese restaurants I highly recommend! Surprisingly, this little hidden gem has good all very good and fresh sushi and very fresh. Their black cod, beef teriyaki, gyoza, fried green beans are really good. It's like it's homemade and great service! I'm surprised that there's not always a line because this place has good food across the board. I haven't come across anything that's been bad.“
