“The drink was tasty, you can tell the matcha is high quality which I appreciate. Loved the design of the shop, interesting layout being connected to a vintage shop. It was a bit warm inside but it was very lively lots of groups sitting on their laptops or enjoying their drinks. They have a bar looking out the window with a beautiful view of the street and train, and a couple of other cozy tables. They did only have a small food menu at the checkout counter which I missed until the end, but after looking at the menu online I will definitely be coming back to try some food too!“

“I love Pine & Crane! Seriously amazing Taiwanese food. The restaurant is stylish, modern and clean while the food is very authentic and completely delicious. “This was the first time ordering from this location and it is actually pretty good. I got the Thai tea with brown sugar boba with the Ube Bubble Waffle and it was soft, chewy, and not overly sweet. I can't wait to bring my boyfriend and mom here to try it out. The drink was the perfect amount of sweetness, it was not headache inducing, and it wasn't bitter. The boba was soft and chewy as well.“

“Cute cafe/boba shop in Old Town Pasadena! I ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba. They have all the different levels of customization, like ice and sugar levels, milk options, and toppings. My drink hit the spot and the boba was cooked perfectly to qq texture. Lots of seating, too:“

“Never knew a shop like this existed let alone knew what Coconut jelly King was all about. We were visiting the HMART market in Arcadia and noticed the Coconut Jelly King at the Food Court. Judging by their menu they mainly specialize in drinks and jelly made with coconut but they had other items on their menu. We got the Pineapple Coconut Jelly and the double Coconut jelly to try out. They were packed in a dessert jars and refrigerated. To be clear Asian jelly is made with Agar or Arrowroot. It is not Jello which is made with gelatin derived from animals. The Pineapple Coconut Jelly had shredded Pineapple base topped with Coconut Jelly made with slightly sweetened Coconut milk. I like Pineapple I thought it would be my favorite. I liked the Double Coconut Jelly a lot more. The base was a jelly made with Coconut Water and topped with Coconut jelly made with sweetened Coconut Milk. The dessert itself was light and refreshing. The flavors were subtle but it was delicious and turned out to be my favorite. iCYMI, Coconut milk is made from steeping dried Coconut flesh and is usually sweetened for drinks or desserts. It also is used for used as a base for Curries. I just found that they have a location in Lad Vegas so I'll be stopping by soon and try some different flavors. Sorry Yelpers. “I think I am addicted to their iced green tea with boba. I have forgotten how much I love it until I got it recently at Yi Fang. Yi Fang is a Taiwanese Boba and Fruit Tea chain that recently opened an Arcadia location in the Burlington Coat Factory and Pavilion's shopping plaza. I am very happy that Yi Fang chose to open one here. Ever since I had their boba in Berkeley in 2019, I have been longing for an Yi Fang close by. Their boba is warm and chewy. If you don't want to wait, I recommend you order online first. There are happy hour promotions when the drinks are 15% when you order online. I haven't seen the promotions at the in store kiosk. They may be there too. The ambiance is clean and presents an old Taiwan vibe. There are no tables inside and only one bench to sit while you are waiting for your drinks So this is more of a grab and go place. I did see desserts on their menu and can't wait to try them next time!“

“I was in the same plaza and I was craving boba, so I decided to try this place out. The decoration is really cute and matches the aesthetics of their drinks. I came on a Sunday afternoon and it was not busy at all. The cashier was friendly and answer all the questions I had about the drinks and the sweetness levels. I got the Blinking Passion Fruit Planet 50% with grass jelly. This was the perfect sweetness for me as the drink also came with popping boba. The total for one drink came out to be over $8, which I don't think it was worth it for a basic passion fruit green tea. My experience here was overall good, but not a go-to. They are open late which is a plus.“

“Decided to treat myself to a milk tea after a run and looked up local boba shops in the area and came across Moo Tea. I got a regular milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice and it was good! The tea flavor was definitely present but not as strong as other places in the area. If you're a bit more sensitive towards sweetness in your drinks, I would stick with 25% as I found the 50% to be a bit too sweet for me. I came at around 4 PM on a Sunday and the store was empty so the service was undeniably quick. There's a kiosk to order from so you can take your time and look through the menu. Overall, a good experience and would come back!“

My favorite combo so far is the golden phoenix oolong with oat milk, osthmanthus jelly, and lavender cream foam. “I’ve been here a couple times and Jason is a real stand up guy who is very friendly and courteous. His shop is clean and he’s got tons of choices! It takes awhile just to figure out what you want out of all the choices. The location is in a shopping center I go to for other things so it is in a convenient location for me. Will keep coming!“

“I've tried several drinks from Sunright Tea Studio across their various locations and their biggest strength would be the quality and taste of their boba. A lot of boba at other places might be sweet but either too soft or hard, or just the right qq texture but no flavor. Sunright manages to do both sweet and qq for their boba. For that reason only, Sunright is in my boba rotation. Not only is the boba well done, but their drinks are solid as well. They're not as good as the drinks at other places like Chicha San Chen or Formosa Aroma, but Sunright makes up for what it lacks. Chicha and Formosa's boba are on the more bland side so Sunright would be a better option if quality and sweet boba over quality milk tea is the priority. I've had their signature Brown Sugar boba milk teas a few times and they've always turned out well. They veer a bit on the sweeter side but that is to be expected for a brown sugar milk tea. Luckily the milk isn't too watery nor thick. The Oreo brûlée is also very solid and you can really taste the Oreo flavor without it being too thick from the cream. So far I've only found one of their drinks to be disappointing and that is their Matcha Strawberry latte. It was super watery in consistency yet still had a powdery texture. It was described as fresh strawberries yet the strawberries tasted like it was originally frozen. The strawberries were very finely grounded that it tasted more like a purée than actual strawberries. At the same time, the taste from the strawberries was also too artificially sweet that it makes me question even more how they handle them. Finally, I think the ratio of matcha to strawberries feels unbalanced. The drink is mostly matcha that after a few sips the strawberry taste was already gone so it very quickly turned into a very watery matcha latte not even halfway through the drink.“

They have soooo many options to choose from when it comes down to drinks and food (sandwiches, boba, fresh squeezed juices…) and if you’re feeling lucky, they also have lottery tickets and scratchers. Bought half a dozen donuts which were delicious and 2 drinks. I really enjoyed my green tea lemonade and the raspberry one was also good. The customer service was great. The gentleman who served us our drinks was so nice and welcoming with a great smile. Will definitely be going back.“

The greens included were very complimentary to the flavor profile of the dish. My coffee was perfect and satisfying. The waffle was soft and well browned just like I like it. I ordered the Royal Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Boba but upgraded to the Surprise cup because I wanted the plushy toy which I got 'Plushy Toast.' I'm definitely keeping the surprise paper cup because that was super cute too. I only drank 1/3 of the tea because was sharing the rest of it with my dad.
