“Whenever we eat some hearty pasta we always go to Buca. This location has good service and very good pasta ! The portions here are “family size” so everything is shareable. A small feeds 3-4 and a large feeds 5-6. The chicken entrees usually come with 3 or 5 pieces of chicken. We ordered the small chicken saltimbocca. It came with 3 pieces or chicken and we cut them in half to feed 5 people. We had 1 half left over..the saltimbocca is chicken with prosciutto on top with lemon and capers and lemon sauce on top. The sauce was great the prosciutto gives the chicken an extra flavor kick. We then got the small penne San Remo (always a favorite). It is penne pasta with a garlic cream sauce and has chicken, peas, artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes. We also got the small apple Gorgonzola salad which is excellent! It has fresh apples and a vinaigrette dressing that pairs perfectly. Lastly we got a single meatball. They are big and we cut it up to everyone could have a piece. We order here frequently for catering events as well as dine in and takeout.”
“My family and I really love the food at Fusion Grill. The owners are so friendly and want you to have a great meal every time you are there. The food is always fresh and always so tasty. Highly recommend Fusion Grill.”

“OMG. Came here on a whim wanting hummus. The chicken rice box with hummus and spicy chef's special sauce was THE BOMB!!! Customer service was also 110%. You have to try this place!!!!”
“So there I was, walking in. I had never been to Urban Plates before. As soon as my eyes met the glorious sight that was the naturally sourced food at this place, I knew I was in for a good experience. I found what I wanted on the easy-to-read menu, and I ordered the chimichurri teak with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. The kind employee who took my order was Dacoda. This kind man took my order with manners and a pleasant smile. Then poured my drink with style and tact. Not a drip spilled out of my cup, but it was filled to the brim with the most tastily crafted refresher I ever have taken a sip of. He was the most good-mannered, well-groomed, most skilled customer service worker I have ever had the pleasure of ordering from. I’m ready to taste this heavenly steak and float into a food coma.”
“Had brunch here. Bomb food and bomb drinks. I had a chicken bowl, wife had lobster tacos, and kids got a quesadilla. Everyone was happy, full, and satisfied. They have an extensive menu with lots of creative options. Full bar with a few beers on tab and a champagne flight. Yup, a champagne flight, mmmhhhhhmmm. The service was friendly and fast.”

“Friendly family owned business. I work at St.Johns Pleasant Valley Hospital and they donated delicious meals for all the employees during the COVID crisis. I will always support them because of their kindness and thoughtfulness. Extra bonus is that the food is so delicious!”
“It's a great location and very spacious. The service was super friendly. Pizza tasted fresh and loved the taste of it!”
“Great atmosphere and equally awesome brews!”
“Yummy salads and the portion is huge .”
“Family run and operated come support our local businesses. Maui banana milkshakes, tasty fries skinny or thick, chicken options, and of course the Fatburger. Beer and wine available and live entertainment the first Saturday of every month.”
“If you have not eaten here, try it. 100% Vegan, 100% yummy! You don't have to be a Vegan to love it my friends. I give it 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Delicious food, especially the pork bowl with quinoa and aioli. Great variety on this Peruvian menu. Friendly and excellent service. I really enjoy this place!”
“The desserts were fantastic. Great service and delicious kabobs.”
“Let’s say it together: Traditional. No sugar sauces or flavorless fish. It’s an experience. Now there’s a way to muddle your way through the menu in a mass sushi kinda way but here one must give in to the menu. We sat at the sushi bar and had an amazing meal with buttery fish and flavors beyond explanation. Now this kind of experience comes with a price tag but if you’re over the bland grind and want an escape that’s just next door, this is where you can accomplish it.”
“Fresh, no skimping, great options, friendly service, order always correct, open all day. Best sushi spot in East Ventura County/Conejo!”
Outdoor Dining
“They used to have a covered outdoor patio but that got taken down but it looks like the place was remodeled recently because I don't remember it looking like this the first time. We visited during the pandemic as our first time and this was our second time back. We were greeted and the lady at the cash register was very friendly and pleasant. I didn't know if I should get the torta or a burrito. I always get a burrito so I decided to opt for the torta this time; it was a good choice. They loaded the torta up with fresh ingredients, including fresh cheese, and avocado, and they have the grilled onions on the side, which were delicious addition with a little bit of chips. I got horchata to drink, and it was very tasty. Perfect mixture. Overall, the establishment was very clean and there was plenty of sauces and sides to complement the dishes. The dishes or bag, and I would've loved for my boyfriend to share my torta, but he was too hungry and the food was too good. The customer service was top-notch and we would definitely return again.”
“My family and I really love the food at Fusion Grill. The owners are so friendly and want you to have a great meal every time you are there. The food is always fresh and always so tasty. Highly recommend Fusion Grill.”
“Nice people Great food Come in a satisfy your hunger”
“I like that there are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. The coffee's were non acidic and the fruit was super good. The gluten-free waffles are made with soy. I didn't try it but noticed it. All the ingredients tasted fresh. You can spice things up or have it as is. I ordered the avocado toast and the Great Eggspectations sandwich and 2 coffees to go. It travelled well. The service was quick and the guy at the register was very helpful. Dog friendly on the patio. I think it's worth a try if you're in Thousand Oaks.”
“Coffee was perfect!!! Our son’s friend’s band performed here and they were quite entertaining. Their baked goods were also delicious.”
“Detroit pizza is Sicilian style pizza. Buddy’s in Detroit is best, two Scicilian friend starte business in early 1940s. This Parma is as close to real Detroit you will get in California. From a Eastside Detroit native.”
“I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review for Side Street, I am always in a happy food comma post-brunch and forget. Side Street has long been my absolute favorite restaurant in Ventura County! When it comes to the menu at Side Street, you genuinely can't make a wrong choice. Personally, I'm hooked on their country fried steak and waffles. Hands down the best gravy you'll ever have! There's something about the way they make their coffee that has me drinking half a pot of coffee I swear. When I go out to eat, I expect the food to be better than what I could make myself at home. It's a standard that so many breakfast/lunch restaurants seem to miss, but Side Street consistently exceeds these expectations without fail. What sets Side Street apart is not only the outstanding food but also their commitment to keeping prices reasonable. You definitely get more than your money's worth here! So many of their dishes come with 1) eggs, 2) toast or biscuits & gravy, AND 3) home fries or hash browns. It's a breakfast lover's dream come true! In the post-COVID era, the closure of so many beloved family-owned restaurants was heartbreaking. Side Street not only weathered the storm but continues to thrive. Stepping into Side Street feels like entering a home away from home. Suzanne, the owner and founder, is a constant presence, working alongside her husband, Ryan, and son, Drew. This is as family-owned as it gets, and that authenticity resonates in every corner of the restaurant. What truly makes Side Street special is the family environment. Every member of the staff makes the atmosphere so welcoming. It's evident that they take pride in providing exceptional service, making each visit a memorable experience. In a time where good, family-owned establishments are hard to come by, Side Street stands out as a beacon of what going to a restaurant should be. From the warm atmosphere to the delicious food and impeccable service, this restaurant will always be my go-to. If you haven't experienced the magic of Side Street, it's about time you do! Truly a hidden gem of Ventura County!”

“OMG! Finally found real NY Pizza in California! Love you guys!”
“The people are so nice and they dont take more 10 mins to have my order ready! The food is delicious ❤️”
“My family and I recently decided to spice up our lunch gathering by ordering from Mendocino Farms in Westlake Village's catering menu and it was a hit! Ordering online was a breeze, and when I arrived for pickup on the designated date and time, everything was prepared and waiting for me, complete with disposable dining ware for easy cleanup. The curry couscous dish was as delicious as ever and quickly became a family favorite. Their salads - always fresh, crunchy, and bursting with flavor, they provided the perfect accompaniment to our meal.”
“A must try! Chrissy always makes the evening extra special with her attentiveness and enthusiasm. Her customer service is top tier and reason why I keep coming back. In addition, drinks and food are 10/10 with a beautiful scenery.”
“Our waiter was great and so informative of how to navigate our menus. We did not have to wait long in between courses, and food was so yummy! Glasses were always checked on. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to have an intimate date night.”
“Fabulous, great staff great selection, try the blonde!”
“I love the steak and crab here. The environment is great and we also had a very friendly waitress”
“Wanted some tasty food at a good price for my daughter and I. The server was very positive and enthusiastic, the food was really good. Had an alfredo dish and a carbonara dish after a bunch of salad... loved it. To top or off, for $6, we got a spaghetti dish to go. Though to beat.”
“I have had the opportunity to eat here a number of times since the current owners took over and everything from the service to the delicious pizza have been excellent...Great fresh brewed Italian style Lattes as well...this is a must visit place to put on your radar.”
“I frequently dine at Bazzille, which is my go-to place when I can't decide where to meet a friend for lunch. The open kitchen design allows for a captivating culinary experience as the chefs showcase their culinary prowess. Additionally, the restaurant features a well-stocked bar, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon drink. Subsequent to a fulfilling meal at Bazzille, shopping or a leisurely stroll around the mall is a welcome bonus. Unfortunately, the mall seems to have lost its charm, with a dearth of good shopping options or boutiques. Even Nordstrom, a renowned department store, has lost its appeal, catering to an older audience and failing to stock designer items beyond those of Kate Spade and Tory Burch. Online shopping may be more suitable for the modern shopper seeking trendy items. Nevertheless, I would still recommend Bazzille for a delightful meal as their menu offers a wide variety of options for a small café. However, the service experience can be inconsistent, as I have experienced both exemplary and subpar service on separate occasions. The decor of the restaurant also needs improvement, as the furniture is in a shabby state, with torn seats and beat-up tables, which does not befit the Nordstrom brand. Despite these shortcomings, I believe Bazzille to be a convenient and satisfactory dining option.”
“I love it, it's one of my favorite places, the BBQ sandwich wow my favorite with Maple dressing ? the best of the best, the vegetarian pizza too, I tried the beer samples and it was also tasty. I recommend it, excellent place!!Vegetarian options: Salads, pizza ?Kid-friendliness: Perfectly set for them tooWheelchair accessibility: Very wide to pass”
“Brought a group of 12 in last night. The service was excellent!! We all loved our food. Our waitress was perfect. We hardly had to ask for anything. She even split up our checks. We'll be back!! Highly recommend!”

“When an order goes awry, they're always willin' to (& succeed in) gettin' it right the 2nd time, in an acceptable amount of time & never on your dime. Gotta love that way of doin' business. Remodeled our location once more. Lookin' good McD's.”

“Been going to Barone’s since 1975. Clearly the best pizza option in the area. For those who know good pizza this is the spot.Parking: Easy access, not very busy parking lot”
Takeout Restaurants
“I could not believe how fast, fresh & Delicious their food was, I got to pick whatever I wanted and they stir-fried it all together, came with rice, wontons, soup & baked bread, All You Can Eat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ they have new owners & they are adding more stuff then before, I’m liking it more and more, highly recommend it”
“Amazing sweets and breads. Today had the best BLT ever.”
“I love the food and the friendly service. The waitress always has good input on the menu.”
“I just wanted to thank the owner and staff for your generosity and patience yesterday on your busiest day of the year. On a whim I decided to stop by. My family was super happy when I got home. Our boys decided every Friday will be Valentino's. And I couldn't agree more. Thank you again.”
“Been coming here for 25 years. It’s become a C- Baja Fresh. Don’t post prices on the menu and the carne asada plate is absolutely dreadful. $18 for a flat top grilled piece of flank steak with zero seasoning. This is not good. Anyone who says this carne asada is good is lying. This is garbage. Will not be back after too many chances.”
“Fresh, no skimping, great options, friendly service, order always correct, open all day. Best sushi spot in East Ventura County/Conejo!”

“As an Italian from NYC who grew up on the best pizza in Queens (Rosa’s), this is likely the best pizza in California, similar to a favorite of mine that closed in El Segundo - the Grimaldi’s pizza chain from Brooklyn. They have a great special before 4pm weekdays, $20 for a pizza pie and 2 real Italian ices. They however need to put in a major renovation on the seating area. Un frost the windows and add new booths and TV’s.And a minor issue they don’t toast the bread on heroes, something I never experienced before. They also need to set aside parking at the Italian ice store beside their place.”
“I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. I have been coming in since 1999 and the food, the service and the atmosphere is excellent. If you haven't been, then you're missing a treat.”
“Awesome spot!! Good beer and good sandwich’s”
“Seriously the best pizza hands down.. and the owners are the best! Super sweet!! Love the Butlers!!”
“Oh my! So this is a first no “photo” review. This is for a reason. Grand hospitality with a Greek flair. Family business and this team puts the their heart and soul into making a well prepared meal. “My daughter and I had lunch at Grabbagreen for the first time and will definitely return. Super friendly staff helped us decide which bowls to choose, so many yummy options! Fresh ingredients, loved the dressing and sauces.”
“So many options, all delicious. Friendly staff and fast service.Vegetarian options: Most of the broth is vegetarian and they a lot of veggies to dipDietary restrictions: Was able to accommodate my dairy allergy”
“Delicious food, huge portions on the 2 item combo plate! Great quality meat in my chicken & steak tacos. Made 2 meals out of it or could split it with another person. The salsa bar is great too with lots of options from Mild to Hot, crema, tomatillo, cilantro, roasted tomato & more.Highly recommend & will definitely be back.”
“First time here and I wasn't too hungry so I got the a la carte grilled cajun shrimp taco and it was delicious. I like that they put a lot of shrimp and pickled onions. My friends got the fish and chips and I was amazed at the size of their entree. I decided to come back 3 days later and ordered the 2 taco combo plate with one grilled shrimp, one battered shrimp taco, rice and beans. Everything tasted delicious and this will be a spot I frequent more often. It was my hubby's first time so he did the same thing as me, he got the grilled shrimp taco a la carte and cajun fries. Ordering and picking up was convenient. I've dined in and it was peaceful. I've taken out and they packaged my food nicely. Both experiences were great and we love the location.”

“Friendly and beautiful service , placer for relax like a Thai house”
“I ordered this to pick it up. The app knew when I was going to be arriving and planned my order accordingly. It was ready as soon as I walked in.Tasted perfect (as always). Probably didn't need the large fries, but they are the best.”
“Always love the double salad.Great customer service and clean lobby.”
“Friendly and helpful inside ordering. Order ready in a timely fashion. Like the vanilla ice coffee, supreme croissant and crispy hash browns. Looking forward to trying the classic all white grilled chicken wrap.”
“It was mid-day. I wanted a dark roast coffee, but the server said it was late in the day, so Starbucks didn't have any more dark roast coffee brewed. She did offer me a slow drip dark coffee, she was very pleasant and I appreciated her offering me the alternativeThe coffee was great. I appreciated the coffee so thank you”
“The kid at the window was one of the nicest customer service employees I’ve seen in years. I wish I caught his name. He was polite, understood my order, and asked me how my day was going. We had a nice little conversation and he unsure my food wouldn’t spill out of the box before handing it to me. Thank you to him. He was a taller kid work the night shift.”
“We were visitors from Sierra Madre. Took our four year grand niece to this McDonalds. Wonderful service. Staff is best I've seen anywhere. Nice clean safe envioment.”
“So good I forgot to take pictures of my food ?, always fast and delicious, best flavor burger for less price than a fancy restaurant, the city has lots of things to see if you're just popping in for a quick visit”
“Well a friend of mine and I had the munchies. He wanted to order Pizza from a restaurant. What turned me off from ordering was the mention of Pineapple on the pizza ?. So we bickered back and forth until we agreed on Tacos. I grabbed the keys and we headed to the Taco Bell ??..near the DMV. I always would drive to the Newbury Park location on Wendy Road.. When we arrived, the parking lot wasn't filled up. This eatery is in the location of one of the busiest shopping centers in the area.To start the DMV is located in the same space and there is a Gelsons Supermarket ?,McDonald's and a Hardware store. The drive thru was hopping with car's. THIS location isn't too familiar with me..the cashier took our orders and we spent close to 20-25.00.I included some pictures, just to give you an idea of our meal.. we dined in and out order did take some time. The choice of food for myself was meatless and vegan items. From burritos, tacos with beans (hard shell) and tacos with hash browns. I did have a fountain drink. My friend ordered most burritos and other items with meat. After our dinner, I needed to make a trip to the washroom. There are two bathrooms and they were very clean. No foul smells either. Over all this locations receives plenty of take out and Door dash orders. The restaurant was clean,no food on the tables, floor's and booth's. Most certainly recommend this location as well. Again the digital menus can be confusing at times. Especially when you are looking for a specific item.Vegetarian options: I do not eat meat and this is one of the specific reasons why I always return here to Taco Bell ???. They allow me to order hard shell Tacos and substitute the beans in replace of meat.Parking: Due to the location.. careful backing up. Many drivers will speed into the parking area with no regards towards the other vehicle owners.n”
“Best food out of any location the one in Westlake is horrible the one in CamarilloIs so so this place is excellent the food is yummy I eat here almost daily and will make the drive to this location the cooks are bomb here !!!”
“Fabulous, great staff great selection, try the blonde!”
“I love the steak and crab here. The environment is great and we also had a very friendly waitress”
“Absolutely one of my favorite Italian restaurants! All the way back when I was 17 my mother would take me here for mother daughter date night and then I now have my husband take me here!”

“I like the organ stuff but only when it is done well and this place does the organ stuff well. I got the lengua and the cabeza and couldn't have been more pleased. I will definitely go back. Fyi, I also did get the Al pastor and it was very good but definitely prefer the lengua and cabeza!”
“I love this place!!! It tastes like high school. When I come back in town I love to grab a grilled cheese and handmade zucchini sticks! There’s nothing like it. I love that it takes me back 20+ years.”
“(just passing through the area) i come into this place and like; raising canes vibes. but bro i hope this place takes over every single raising canes. i cannot believe ive never been told about this place. i hate yall for that. god imma be dreaming about what i just ate. (raising canes was my first job and i love them to the core but this place just did everything better)”
“First time there and they were very friendly. Smoothies and tea was very good! Recommend you go & support local business.”
“I cannot understand the desire to line up for some overrated chain, when you can get a superior cup of coffee just an escalator ride away. Add to that a fine selection of fresh pastries, rather than some factory produced product, to enjoy with your beverage. The staff is also friendly and gracious. I highly recommend you make the oh so strenuous venture upstairs for a nice change.”
“We used to go to the location in Encino which really went downhill over the years and is now understandably closed. We were so happy to find out that this is the original location, and it is worth the drive. The bread rolls are to die for! So yummy! My personal favorite is the mushroom salad. The small is quite large and plenty for 2 people. The size is true of all of their salads. We also had a chicken parm sandwich that we enjoyed. We were a little disappointed with the pizza. It was pretty greasy so we did not come close to finishing it (one slice and done) and honestly threw what was left out. The restaurant is huge, so lots of seating. The staff is super nice. FYI, surprisingly for a pizza restaurant, they have a huge, full-page vegan menu. Go and enjoy, just try not to fill up on the rolls before your meal shows up. LOL”
“I love this place! It's my go to spot for a breakfast beer. It's hard to find a place in TO that serves food and beer before 10am. The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean and the owner is very polite. Extremely accommodating to your needs. And........ homemade tortillas made in front of you. What else are you looking for? Eat in or take out. You won't regret it.”
“Yesterday I was walking near the place in search of a Mexican restaurant and I found this market. The truth is I was surprised by how big it is. Also inside the market they sell burrito tacos and pastor's cakes, asada, tripa, legua and carnitas, also stewed nopales with potato, pork rinds in green and red sauce, the tacos are very delicious, and since it is a market, they also sell fruits, vegetables and a large assortment of groceries, a 100% recommended place.”
“Fun place but chairs are kind of uncomfortable. The backs of the wooden chairs are super straight so you can’t lean back and relax you have to always be sitting forward.”
“The wintermelon iced tea is AMAZING. I also love their super fruit tea, but last time I ordered it the chunks of mango were super tiny, more like a sprinkle than a chunk. However, that is not enough to make me upset with this place. I come here often and I always love what I get. Also the plushies are cute”
“People with great attitude! I love this place and their juices are amazing.”
“Food was a little bit disappointing. My lomo saltado had barely any sauce, and the rib eye was dry and chewy. The garlic wings on fried rice were good as separate elements, but they didn't have much cohesion as a unified dish. $24 for a meal is steep, even in today's economy; I expect more than dry, chewy meat for that price. The server was very nice, but the owner seemed put out that we wanted to just pick up food and eat outside (what can I say, I came here because yelp told me it was dog-friendly). EDIT: To clarify, I didn't expect to eat indoors with the dog, just mentioning that they seemed nonplussed when I asked to eat outdoors because we had brought a dog. I'm giving 4 stars because their lychee lemonade was the best I've ever had. Sure it was in a small cup filled with a ton of ice, but it was amazing. If I come back, I may not eat there, but I would definitely stop by to grab a lychee lemonade. Hopefully that doesn't upset the owner too much.”

“This is our second great date night at the mighty axe and thanks to JT’s axe throwing tutorial, we managed to pretend that we were professionals when in reality, we are just lucky to hit the board. My wrists are messed up right now, so he was really helpful in helping me find a way to throw without causing pain. I early recommend this place and JT! Be back soon!”

“We have eaten here quite a few times since they opened, take out and eaten in. Always received what we ordered and a decent quantity of everything. The rotisserie chicken, chicken kabobs and chicken shawarma has all been very good. Will be back soon.”
“OMG. Came here on a whim wanting hummus. The chicken rice box with hummus and spicy chef's special sauce was THE BOMB!!! Customer service was also 110%. You have to try this place!!!!”
“It's a great location and very spacious. The service was super friendly. Pizza tasted fresh and loved the taste of it!”
“Yummy salads and the portion is huge .”
“Fun place but chairs are kind of uncomfortable. The backs of the wooden chairs are super straight so you can’t lean back and relax you have to always be sitting forward.”
“Family run and operated come support our local businesses. Maui banana milkshakes, tasty fries skinny or thick, chicken options, and of course the Fatburger. Beer and wine available and live entertainment the first Saturday of every month.”
