“Stopped here for a refreshing beverage after a long day of adventuring around Universal Studios and it was the perfect way to end a long day! I tried the Honey Lavender Lemonade with Lychee Jelly. I took a gamble with 100% sweetness and though it was a little sweeter than I normally would've ordered myself, it was not overly sweet. There was a lovely lavender flavor behind the lemonade, but I couldn't quite taste the honey. For a shop that's so adjacent to a theme park, the prices were very reasonable and the service was quick. Would recommend if you're looking to visit Universal!“
“Honestly, 5 stars for convenience and customer service is always pleasant, but they could work on some areas. 1. The food is limited. Went at 7, and they were already out of the $15 ham and cheese pretzel croissant sandwiches. And they've been out of the egg bites each day I've gone. With that said, my kiddos did enjoy the sandwich when I was able to secure one for them. The price is pretty steep, but I understand it is in a hotel in Los Angeles. I just wish they stocked up more since families tend to eat early before heading to Universal Studios. 2. We were here for all-day workshops, so we would have spent more money on the hotel if the coffee corner stayed open past 1130am. A lot of us ended up having to have food/coffee delivered. Ambiance - hotel. Overall, 4/5... Review 002 for 2024“

“My friends and I stopped by this Starbucks in City Walk since we saw on Yelp and Google that they close at 2am. Other Starbucks closes at 8pm or 9pm so we decided to come to City Walk since my friend wanted his coffee. If you're a AMC Stub member then you should use your free ticket to take advantage of not paying full price for parking. This Starbucks location is on the 2nd floor now instead of the 1st floor in its old location. This Starbucks store isn't big, I think it's meant for just people to get their drink and relax outside in their outdoor seating area or to walk around City Walk. My friend got his black coffee and my other friend got the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. They enjoyed their drink but it did take a while to come out when they weren't that busy. When we left the store at 10pm, they started closing their door and said they were closed so we were surprise since we thought they close at 2pm.Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly since it's inside City Walk, you'll just have to go to the second level since this Starbucks store moved.Parking: You have to pay to park at the parking structure.Wheelchair accessibility: You can take the elevator to the 2nd floor to get to Starbucks.“

“One popular spot known for its delicious borekas in Los Angeles is "Borekas Sephardic Pastries" in Sherman Oaks. They offer a variety of flavors and are well-regarded by locals and visitors alike. It's worth giving them a try if you're in the area!“

“The ambience is great! Very nice and homey spot. The staff was very kind too. We ordered a bit of everything.Pros:Prices are very good for all the dishes. Nothing was over 15 dollars on the menu. The shrimp wontons and pan fried pork buns were the best items with the most flavor. The beef roll was huge in size. Great for people that enjoy cucumber and thicker slices of the meat. The bean curd salad had a nice bite and flavor to it. They also have sparkling water on tap!Cons:Parking is bad. Getting street parking is like winning the lottery. The other option is to pay for parking which can range between 10-30 dollars. The dan dan noodles and sha gua mian did not meet our expectations. The noodles seemed a bit overcooked and a sauce/acid could have given the dish more of a balance in flavor. Our table marker was taken off the table a little early and that's when we saw on the receipt that a missing item was added incorrectly. Our server fixed it promptly so that was great.“

“I visited holy grail donuts today. And I'm telling you that it was great experience to enjoy good donuts. You can see how your donut is made and who makes your donuts in the store. It was so fresh and I've been never experienced this before. The vibe was cozy and comforting. Also staffs were super friendly. Strongly recommend. I wish donut shop like Holey Grail Donuts exists in my country too ;( Maybe little bit expensive but worth to try. You won't regret it.“
“what a beautiful place! I had such a great experience! I was just visiting my sister from the Midwest, and we decided to get tattoos together. Amy was so great and friendly!“

“The pre-jam bagel at Layla's is the best thing since sliced bread. Get it on a plain bagel so that the bagel doesn't distract from the taste of the incredible seasonal blood orange and cara cara. Pro tip, grab a wet wipe from the side counter by the napkins dispenser so that you can cleanly devour your honey drizzled, succulent sun-soaked bagel of delight and mumble in joy as nectar-like citrus juices drizzle down the bagel into your waiting mouth. In order of favorites: The pre-jam on plain The marli add bacon or salmon, add tomato on sesame The laika on everything The scarlett on sesame And then, sammy's which is a solid egg n bacon sandwich but not on my list of favorites maybe because we got it on an everything bagel- recommended on a plain. Last thing, but most importantly, the rose petal matcha latte is the best drink in west Los Angeles hands down and I'm still dreaming about it now. *chef's kiss*“

“What I liked most about this place was that there were quite a few vegan options to choose from. I had the signature Voodoo Doll doughnut which was very delicious. The berry filling was a nice touch. They also had vegan options for your basic glazed doughnut, maple bar, apple fritter and much more. I would recommend visiting if you're also planning to have dinner at the Universal City Walk so you can save on parking costs by getting validation.“
