“Stopped in after work on a Friday for a drink and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly atmosphere, clean, good tv's for sports viewing. We had Zuchinni fries as a snack and they were crispy, flavorful, & the ranch dipping sauce was delish. You can always judge a place if their ranch is good or not. John our server was super cool and friendly. I was on the fence about ordering another glass of wine and he let me know they do half glasses, which was perfect. They serve breakfast on the weekends from 9-12 and we I'll for sure try it out. Nice to have a local sports bars in Vista!“

“Went for a friend's retirement party outside in the back. Had Bites for food and it was really good. The wings were fabulous. The chicken tacos were a little on the salty side. The tater tots and waffle wedges were also really good. The Beef tacos were really good as well. THE BEEF SLIDERS WERE AMAZING!! Hummus was really good as well. I had the Bario Logan beer that was nice a cold. Thank you we had a very nice time.“

“Haven't been here in a while...had a great time on a Saturday afternoon. Best skinny margarita I've had in years. Shout out to Ralph and Casamigos for making that happen for me. I had a couple of the beers and they were world class as always! I think the only complaint I have is the outside area is dirt and I think turf would really brighten up the outside and make it feel more like a comfortable backyard/have a SD vibe. Can we start a petition for turf?? We will be back.“

“The food was delicious!! We hung out at the bar and ordered an appetizer and desert. The tender suggested all great items. We had the cauliflower, which was an explosion of flavor and followed that with banana pudding filled beignets, those too were amazing.“

“Great local spot and my go to dive bar to watch sports and enjoy bar food. They have wing wednesday and my top picks are there philly cheesesteak with fried green beans, lemon pepper dry rub wings, and the bratwurst. Service is unique and puts a fun twist on letting you know your order is ready with funny names. Cant go wrong with any if their beers on the wall, i typically go with the #15 or #22 hazy beer“

“I love little off the map beer and burger joints. The Red Rooster has one of the best burgers in town. Top it off with a really cold beer and you’ve got me! If you are expecting fancy… this is not the place. It does have a classic old bar atmosphere, and that is what makes it great.“

“This place has totally transformed and they serve really great food (the food has always been amazing but the ambiance is event better now)! We’ve had salads, corn, wings, burgers and sandwiches! “Just arrived in Carlsbad, and wanted late tea at 9.00pm. The Compass was recommended for serving good grub and drinks for grown ups, which it duly delivered really well. Welcome & service was attentive, food was prompt and hit the spot, good value too. Atmosphere on a Tuesday night was quiet, but it is Tuesday! “What's not to love about this place? Talk about a hidden gem. You can tell the staff enjoy being there as much as the patrons who are always laughing and sharing stories. They have a great selection of beers and other drinks to choose from, DO NOT eat elsewhere as their menu has made from scratch hand crafted options. I highly recommend their chicken tortilla soup, the wings, or their rib dip.“

“Stopping here was not planned but pleasantly surprising. We were playing billiards across the way and the crowd drew me in. Tuesday night seemed to be hopping and I wanted to know why. Not only is it a stunning establishment- I love the luxurious yet minimalist & clean Tex-mex decor. They have an awesome 80s cover band, a decent crowd and most of all, good vibes. “Had a great blue burger, truffle fries, whiskey coke, live music with lots of seating and standing space. My server, Coco, was the greatest and found me inside it outside mingling to make sure I was all good.So many friends attended the event, had dinner and enjoyed the night.Parking: A section is reserved for performers.“

But seriously, go here, don't wait, GO ALREADY!!! They are so dang personable, they know their beers, and they know YOU!!! “Just get down here!! Larrys is the best dive bar in Oceanside!! Stephanie the bartendendress makes killer drinks (bloody marys from scratch!) she knows and welcomes everyone. Great food menu, cook knows his stuff! $5 burger during football and plenty of TVs. Also cranking music.“

“Loved the pizza! We had several different varieties and they were all good! Delicious! The salads were amazing, I loved the basil flavor of one of the salads. Also, I don't drink alcohol but they had a Heineken 0% alcohol, was out of this world tasty would recommend it. Thank you you guys for having this alternative beer . Great place!“

“Gonna start off by saying I was a bit skeptical when I walked into this place on a Wednesday night. Waited in line for a bit before we could order our food. It was a busy night! We ordered fries, wings and 2 beers. The bartender suggested it'd be better to order a pitcher for $4 more so a pitcher we got. The fries were amazing! They were super crunchy and well seasoned. Total eyebrow perk on my face. Then we got the bourbon, stinging honey, lemon pepper and Carolina reapers and they were all amazing. The flavors were on point and Corey the cook was pretty cool too! He gave us the low down on what days are best to come in when it's not so hectic. Wanna get some great drinks, fries and wings then totally give this place a try.“

“Had a nice lunch here. First time visit. We sat in the back area since we were a large group. Our waitress was attentive. The food was good. I think I will visit this place the next time I am in town with my brothers who would probably like it. It was the perfect place for a large party but I would like to see what it is like with just a few people having a drink and a bite to eat. They say the atmosphere in the regular area is very comfy. “This is my new go to place in Carlsbad. The food, drinks, and staff are all top notch! HH every day at 3:00pm, open for breakfast and will stay open late as long as there are people in the bar. If you haven't been here yet - you're missing out - just don't take my spot at the bar!!“

“When we arrived we found there to be a bit of a line for checking in on a Monday evening however once we got to the front and Rebecca helped us we forgot all about the wait. She was so thoughtful, thorough and professional in explaining everything to my mom and I. My mom is recently been having to use a wheelchair and Rebecca was so intuitive that she asked my mom if she might need some other medical devices to make her stay more comfortable. We didn’t even know they had these things available and they were already waiting for us when we got to the room. Shower chair and toilet riser. The place was beautiful, large luxurious rooms with fantastic amenities. My mom said it was the most beautiful place she had ever stayed which brought tears to my eyes. The only thing I would suggest is more handicapped parking spaces. We had to park some dip from our from in the 61 building and with a wheelchair and luggage proved a challenge but again the only suggestion I would make. We stayed in the cove area and yes there was construction but I was only during the daytime and we were made fully aware prior to check in. As for the small amount of noise from Lego land we rather enjoyed hearing the beautiful laughter of happy families enjoying each others company while make memories.“

“Food was phenomenal! They anlso have nice TVs so great sports watching environment! Amy put server was bubbly and great and Jamie the manager came and introduced herself. Also very nice and you can tell she loves what she does! I think prices are are reasonable as well. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back!“

“Went to watch a college basketball game with friends and had an excellent experience. The place was busy but our waitress still gave us great service. The drinks came out very quickly but most of all the waitress was upbeat and fun. Our used dishes were removed right away. The whole wait staff worked together well and were so friendly. Food is good and they have a good happy hour.“

“There is a taqueria outside the place. Then you can have a chela, while listening to the debralle. In addition to being able to taste a delicious suadero taco, with golden tripe with delicious nopales and Federal District style onions. The closest thing to Mexico in Califas.“

“Was relaxing. Couple of issues. Either water pressure was low or it’s a water saving measure. Outlets at night stands were inoperative. Toilet seat hinge broken. No lighting at bathroom mirror was dim from overhead light. But still nice would return. Nitpicking only. I’m easy. Oh yeah I got a great price.“
