“I had a party to go to and needed some kashkeh bademjoon. I was about to go to another place and remembered Assal has amazing food and is close by. I called ahead of time and let them know what I wanted. I got there a little earlier than I expected but they had it ready to go and were so kind. The food was sooo delicious and they made it look so beautiful. I think the bad reviews are fake because my experience was soo opposite. Try it for yourself!“

“I love this spot the owner has great Persian food , the kinda flavor that is so different then the rest of the Persian res in the area, I swear the owner is this older nice men the place has home made food smells so good !He makes the best horash sabzi it’s the green herbs stow it comes with a side of rice and it’s really delicious!My friend loves kabobs so he orders that and says it’s very good !All the locals of the area eat here :)So in case you are in the Woodland Hills neighborhood I recommend grabbing lunch at this placeI enjoy every time I come here it reminds meof my moms food , so thank you for this“

“Dining at Kourosh was a pleasant experience. The menu is extensive with both flavor & affordable pricing. The best time to come is during lunch hours. I did forget to take photos of the food but I can guarantee it looked & tasted great. Kourosh doesn't play around. They have a beautiful interior of the restaurant with music that elevates the experience. I had a wonderful time speaking with Mary; their manager. Who provided excellent service & a warm atmosphere. You won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be back for more.Vegetarian options: On the photos posted with the review you may clearly see which dishes are labeled vegetarian.Parking: The restaurant is located in a sizeable plaza. Plenty of parking can be found & there is a residential area nearby that could be used for parking in case of a busy lot. Otherwise, the lot is more than sufficient.“

“I wanted to give this family owned restaurant a positive feedback! Farideh the owner of this business has succeeded in the Persian food industry 100% I cannot even explain how tasty their food is. I tried their chicken kabob sandwich and I was so amazed of how tasty my meal was. Denj reminds me of home away from home! We went there on a Friday night for family birthday party and had a truly enjoyable time.Mr. Mahmoud Ghorbani’s song selection is outstanding, and his voice is impeccable. He chooses both new and old songs, as well as traditional tunes with another artist who plays the dulcimer, creating an amazing atmosphere. The food and service are also very good.
