“This small and newly established Syrian - Mediterranean eatery was really charming and reminiscent of a typical eatery catering to locals in the Middle East. “YuThaiPa is a very unassuming walk-up food vendor, but be forewarned. Just because this place is a walk-up with outdoor only seating, don't draw any conclusions about the food until you give it a try. YuThaiPa makes Thai food if the name had not already given that away. The food is made to order and features big Thai tastes, and the portions are pretty good with dishes being easily sharable, which is nice because that allows a couple to order different dishes and then share so that both get the experience of trying two of their Thai favorites! After lunch, YuThaiPa's food supplier pulled up and started unloading to the side door. I took a chance and looked into the door and noted that it was nice and clean behind tge scenes! That's nice to find and appreciated. It looks like YuThaiPa packs all their food to go, even if you are eating in their outdoor seating area. The To Go packaging is done expertly and should allow you to get your food home or to work spill free. Bottom Line: YuThaiPa is a great lunch or dinner stop in uptown Yucaipa! If you haven't been there, you are missing out.”

“Went here for the first time today. My first impressions were with the staff - who were all super super friendly! I thought, "if the food is as great as the people, I'll have a new favorite place!" “Don't miss out on trying this place! We came in on a Saturday around 5pm for a late lunch or early dinner. It was not packed yet. But you may want to call to be sure if you have a time limit. When we walked in we were greeted by the hostesses. They immediately asked us how many were dining and a few minutes later someone came to seat us. They asked if we were ok sitting in the banquet room. We said sure since we didn't know what to expect. If you are looking for quiet, politely decline and they will seat you somewhere else. The banquet room is right by the bar and not quiet. There were large parties in there and it was just us as a party of 2. It was very load, but the staff did amazing! The server immediately came to ask us if we wanted drinks. We started with a pomegranate mule and a blueberry mule. They were delicious. Next we went for the onion blossom and the flavor was incredible. For our meals we ordered the filet medallions with garlic mashed potatoes and a side wedge salad. And a filet dinner with a baked potato and side salad. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The highlight, besides the food was the staff. We were asked several times how we were doing by everyone. Even the guy who brought the food to the table had a sense of urgency and asked if we needed anything. And the bartenders too. We will definitely be going back.”

“I'm afraid to give this place a shout out on Yelp, because it's small and a hidden gem. But they deserve it! Tuna Time is the absolute best sushi restaurant in the IE!! Very comparable to great sushi restaurants in Orange County. Their fish is excellent! And what other sushi joint gives you extra slices of fish on top of their sushi?? Tuna Time!! Give this place a shot if you are anywhere near Yucaipa.”

“The food and atmosphere was great for brunch. Loved the music. We will definitely be back for lunch/dinner. We came here because my daughter and son in law live close. Yucaipa Blvd is a fun place to hang out. I had the chicken and waffles with mango habanero sauce and bacon bits scattered on the plate. My hubby had the OG burger with onion rings. He ordered a single but the OG usually comes with a double Wagyu patty. Daughter had rancheros hitch had a crunchy tortilla like a tostada. I was impressed since the tortilla is usually stale and unimpressive. Son in law had the Hangover burger and it was also yummy. The hash browns could be crispier. We also had a cinnamon roll to share. We finished with a Bloody Mary with great spice and they had a great selection of beer on tap including a stout.”

“My husband and I tried this place together yesterday. I had been one other time but my husband had never been. I had a turkey melt with bacon, Swiss, tomato, and Ortega Chile with fries. My husband had a chicken chimichanga and we shared fried mushrooms. We took half of it home. Everything was so good, we went back this morning for breakfast. We both had the chicken fried steak and b&g. Perfect. The service was great and the restaurant is cozy with a homey vibe. I can't wait to try another delicious treat!”

“Why didn't I try this place sooner? I have been going to every taco place in my neighborhood and finally, my search is over! Arteaga's will be my go-to taco place from now on! “Wow!! Could not recommend this place more. It's a little far in Yucaipa but it is definitely well worth the drive on a weekend! We ordered the following pizzas: margarita, mushroom, sausage, and pepperoni. They are about 12-13 dollars and feed about 1 person each. So flavorful and the texture of the dough was so delicious! Will be back!”

“This was my first time back in almost 4 to 5 months. As soon as you walk in, you notice a total change in the interior with new paint and shutters. New tables and chairs as well. My understanding is it changed owners or is co-owned by one of the staff there. So whatever she did make it look a lot more appealing and enjoyable. The service is still fantastic depending on what time of the day and week you go. Service might be a little delayed because they are busy. In my opinion, it looks a little better than just your average dive bar. It's more comfortable.My only gripe and disappointment are by 9 o'clock when the DJ starts playing, the music is so loud that you start to yell with the people you went with. When we sat at a table, I was the third person over and couldn't hear anything that was being said. The two people sitting next to each other had to yell at each other. Just be able to hear themselves. And so we had to leave because it was just ridiculously loud. It's not a nightclub so the music doesn't have to be loud. Unfortunately, we had to go to a bar uptown that has music but is not as loud. But I recommend this bar but you'll have to go to form your own opinion. Make sure you stay past 9 o'clock.”

“Had breakfast again there this morning. Probably my favorite 'Mexican breakfast' spot in the area. Chips were freshly made and salsa had some bite. Homemade flour tortillas are great. Beans are good. Potatoes with onion and peppers are great also. But the eggs crack me up. I had the Mexicana scrambled version with jalapeño onion and tomato and I swear it was made with 6 eggs! I had enough food to take home that I won't have to cook dinner! Plus, they added some shredded beef which really made it great. I haven't had lunch or dinner there but the breakfast has been consistently awesome.”

“For those of you who are perhaps too young to remember, Pizza Chalet used to be a chain of sit-down pizza restaurants with dozens of locations in Southern California. Like many other similar local chains (Taco Tia and Pioneer Chicken for instance), the number of Pizza Chalets began to dwindle and shrink from about the mid/late 80s. Now there are only a handful of locations left, with Yucaipa being the closest one to many in the Inland Empire. Oddly enough, as much as I loved pizza when I was a teen (and as much as I still love it today), I had NEVER been to a Pizza Chalet location until about 3 weeks ago. My brother, mom, and I were out doing errands in the area and decided to pop in to see if it was any good. We heard about the all-you-can-eat buffet and decided to give it a try despite a few reservations. Those reservations quickly fell away! What a delicious gem of find this turned out to be. Its located up at the top of Yucaipla Blvd, "over the hill" and close to the historic district near the roundabout. Upon entering, we noted it had the feel of the pizza parlors of old from the 80s and 90s where kids and teens would go when their baseball or soccer games were over. To add to that feel, there is even a fun-zone arcade area for kids to enjoy themselves in and win tickets to redeem prizes at a counter near the entrance! Wow!!! The nostalgia of it all! Speaking of Nostalgia, the place has staying power. This location opened in 1976 and has been around for almost 50 years and touts itself as "The Best Pizza in Yucaipa". The buffet is very much a bargain. They have a decently-stocked salad bar (with 6 dressings!), a regular rotation of freshly made pizzas with various toppings (one of which is a tasty homage to the Gay 90's Pizza Parlor from Redlands that started the whole "cashews on a pizza" craze, a selection of mini Italian sandwiches as well as desserts. All of these were freshly made and delicious tasting. I don't know if the pizza was indeed "The Best"; but I'd say it's certainly above average and quite tasty. The real star of the show, however, is their "Johnnie's Broasted Chicken". OMG!! Where has this been all my life?! It's a pressure-cooked chicken recipe that seals the delicious, slightly salty, and savory flavor down to the bone. The outside is crispy and the inside is moist and juicy. I kept coming back to this for seconds and even thirds! Some of the best chicken I've had in a long time. The employees here were very friendly, and the food in the buffet never had time to get stale. It was restocked regularly. To top it all off, they even had a decent selection of 6-8 beers on tap including local microbrews! Gotta have a cold beer with pizza, right?!? I will say this about the price. The buffet is your best option for value here. It runs from 11 am - 2 pm every day, and from 5 pm - 7:30 pm on Monday nights. Outside of that, the price of the pizza and chicken by themselves do tend to be a bit more expensive than other places in the area, especially the chicken. Prices seem to be on-par with the Gourmet Pizza Shoppe in Redlands. You can check out the pictures of the menu others have posted to get a good idea. I admit the sticker shock made me deduct a star in this case. That being said, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming here for their lunch buffet of on a Monday night for dinner. There are lots of options to choose from and I absolutely guarantee you will fall in love with the broasted chicken! A bit pricey overall, but still a fun spot in Yucaipa to try! Come alone, with family, or bring along the whole soccer team! These are the type of local spots we want to keep open for years to come.”

It's located right next to an automotive shop which was kinda random because there's nothing else around but homes, but it's cool cuz you can get an oil change and have your coffee while waiting! Found this place on tik tok so immediately went mins after finding out about it! Got there about 5 mins after opening! There wasn't many people thank goodness because I heard it gets pretty busy! It's so dope in there, the only complaint is how small it is. And the lack of seating. The vibes here are sick of you love horror films like myself. The drinks were pricey but it was worth the experience and I'd totally go back. The flavors are good, similar to rad coffee. I got the children of oats with vanilla cinnamon cold foam and it's so yummy. I wanna try all of their drinks! 10/10 for sure. Skip trash Starbucks and come support your local coffee shops”

Today I got a two item plate, shredded beef tamale (masa was soft and it was served in sauce) and shredded beef enchilada. They both had lots of beef, was tender, tasted great and the food was all hot in temperature. The service was great, friendly and efficient. The dining area is spacious, kept nice and clean, there are booths, regular tables and high tables in the back.”

I loaded it up with Sriracha and Hoisin sauce, and voila... I almost ate the entire bowl. I was so full! It was really good. I'll definitely visit again while I'm still in the area. The couple working the front were super sweet and prompt, so that type of services is a plus! Definitely give Ocean Pho a shot if you are craving Vietnamese food. Seasonal drinks and fan favorites the possibilities are endless. If you gotta have that craving quenched there's not much else to do but wait. “Our order failed to go through online but the guy at the counter BLASTED it out. I swear we had bigger portions than we've ever had. If I lived in that city I would go to this Chipotle every time. The food tasted fantastic and we got it in a timely manner. We had 6 meals to order and the line handled it like champions. They seemed like a good team as well with cooks checking frequently to see what was going to need worked on soon. It's located right next to an automotive shop which was kinda random because there's nothing else around but homes, but it's cool cuz you can get an oil change and have your coffee while waiting! Found this place on tik tok so immediately went mins after finding out about it! Got there about 5 mins after opening! There wasn't many people thank goodness because I heard it gets pretty busy! It's so dope in there, the only complaint is how small it is. And the lack of seating. The vibes here are sick of you love horror films like myself. The drinks were pricey but it was worth the experience and I'd totally go back. The flavors are good, similar to rad coffee. I got the children of oats with vanilla cinnamon cold foam and it's so yummy. I wanna try all of their drinks! 10/10 for sure. Skip trash Starbucks and come support your local coffee shops”

“Had breakfast again there this morning. Probably my favorite 'Mexican breakfast' spot in the area. Chips were freshly made and salsa had some bite. Homemade flour tortillas are great. Beans are good. Potatoes with onion and peppers are great also. But the eggs crack me up. I had the Mexicana scrambled version with jalapeño onion and tomato and I swear it was made with 6 eggs! I had enough food to take home that I won't have to cook dinner! Plus, they added some shredded beef which really made it great. I haven't had lunch or dinner there but the breakfast has been consistently awesome.”
