“The Taco Loco truck was an amazing addition to my daughter’s engagement picnic this weekend! Food was outstanding, with 7 different taco varieties, salad, rice & beans, chips & churros! “What a gem in Stratford, ct! My young daughter has food allergies and I was happy to find a place I can regularly pick her up some delicious vegan treats! They even made her birthday cake this year! The coffee, and tea are outstanding and they have seasonal specials for drinks and food! The staff is so helpful answering my questions about food ingredients. I highly recommend!“

“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. “The crepes are amazing and super delicious. Prepare to spend $10 ish each or more. It’s gluten free Crêpe which is freaking fantastic. It’s a take out place. They have gelato or some fancy boba drinks. Wait could be 20 mins. Order ahead if you can.Dietary restrictions: The crepes are gluten free. Check your toppings to ensure it’s gluten free too.“

“During a five-night stay in the area, I ate here three times. It was delicious. I loved the bang-bang shrimp bowl and the shrimp and clam scampi. So good! I also enjoyed the salmon wrap with sweet potato fries, though it wasn't as great as the other dishes. While the food arrived quickly, the wait staff did seem overwhelmed, especially the bar. It took quit awhile to get a cocktail. If I'm in Southport again, I'll definitely eat here again.“

“I'm a regular at this place in Shelton and never once the steaks are off the bullseye. Perfect every time. The servers are great and always carry a smile. To find a parking spot might be tough at times but that testifies for them and I guess it's a good problem to have. Hope they maintain their great service and quality food and stay in business for generations to come. All the best.“

The space is beautiful and inviting, with plenty of space to sit and enjoy their endless supply of delicious baked goods, sandwiches, coffee, etc.. After ordering our food we started chatting with Andrea, the owner, who was at a nearby counter prepping cookies and she could not have been kinder!! “What a pleasant surprise to find authentic and tasty Chinese food on our way back from New York. In addition to the delicious food, we liked the taste of decor and service too. The waitresses were skilled and took the order swiftly, and the dishes were brought up very fast. The restrooms of the restaurant were also very clean. Great restaurant and keep up the good work!“

His kitchen consistently creates outstandingly delicious entrees, salads and side dishes.The kitchen crew and counter staff are always friendly and eager to satisfy.Jason recently brought on pastry chef and baker Michael. What a great move! Michael's almond croissant is absolute perfection. We are a lively bunch when we do get the time to be together and the staff are all very friendly and provide great service.
