“WOW! A hidden gem! This was truly one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. Our dining experience was amazing from start to finish. As soon as we walked in, we were kindly greeted and felt welcomed immediately. The restaurant is beautiful and the sign near the entrance stood out to us and had a lovely sentiment “Serving faith, hope, and love.” I had a feeling we were going to have a positive experience just after reading that sign. Our server, Melia (sp?) was exceptional and provided us with outstanding service. She was kind and attentive. She even asked us where we would like to be seated (booth, table) and the location (towards the front, center or back of restaurant). I wish every server did this! It makes a world of difference (especially for patrons who care where they sit). The food was remarkable. Top notch Asian cuisine that was fresh and delicious (especially the crispy General Tso chicken). We were just in time to take advantage of their 3 roll sushi lunch special, right before dinner started (3pm on Sundays). The ‘blanc’ fried rice tasted healthy (not salty) - we appreciate low sodium dishes when we’re dining out! It would’ve been nice if there were 1-2 additional spring rolls for the price. For drinks, we ordered the Emerald Lagoon and a Chocolate Martini. The martini wasn’t on the menu and it didn’t come out as expected — she asked what could be done better and to our surprise she brought out another one on the house that tasted superb. She took our recommendations and improved the drink right away. We were extremely pleased that our server took the initiative without us asking. We were blown away by the outstanding service we received and the delicious food we enjoyed. We will surely be back sooner than later — and we’ll make sure to save room for dessert next time!“

“I've been here twice now. The first time, we dined in, and yesterday we experienced the hibachi grill! Their sushi appetizers are absolutely amazing—definitely my favorite! They are so flavorful and simply delicious.Although the service was good during our hibachi experience yesterday, the hibachi itself (I tried the house special) was not the best.Despite that, I'll continue coming back for their sushi and appetizers! The ambiance is also very nice.“

“My favorite restaurant! Since the opening of this Ji Bei Chuan, I come here once a week on average. I have taken every friend to this wonderful restaurant and we all love here.Friendly and considerate team. Good value and delicious food. The manager lady always remember I don't eat green onions, even if I forgot to mention sometimes. She can even tell my voice over the phone! I love her so much!Today I took a picture of dry chicken noodle (~$12 before tax) halfway when I was eating. I don't eat much spicy so the waitress lady kindly put the source beside, therefore I can easily add source to what I need.Don't hesitate to come!Parking: Easy & free parking. You can find extra parking behind the building.“

“Very nice space with quality ingredients to create flavorful food. Too many places are using cheap ingredients to offset rising prices and I appreciate that it is not the case here. Good lunch specials, enough variety, friendly accommodating service.“

“My family and I were really impressed with our sushi today. We ordered a variety of rolls to take home and eat. While they were all delicious we had nonidea what was what but like I said it was delicious. We will be back for more but maybe we will eat in next time.“

“One of the Best Japanese Restaurants in Connecticut if you love Sushi and Sashimi. The Spider roll made with fried soft shell crab is to die for!! My wife had the Dinner Bento Box with the Bento Chicken and loved everything. The service was outstanding. The prices are very reasonable and the portions generous. The soup or salad that comes with the meal is very good. We go to the best rated restaurants in Connecticut and NY. and if they were to improve their ambiance/atmosphere which is a little plain and make the restaurant more romantic it would be a destination restaurant and one of the best anywhere.“

“Ordered from their website which was super easy and convenient. We ordered drunken noodles, pad woosen, thai bubble tea and the mango juice. Everything was packaged nicely and was ready upon arrival. Even after getting home the food was not mushy at all! The drunken noodles were spicy and super flavorful. The pad woosen was loaded with veggies. Will be back again!“

“We were in the mood for Thai food last night. So, I opened up Google maps and typed in Thai food and lo and behold this place popped up in Seymour, about 10 minutes from my home. I have to say it was a nice surprise for both of us. I didn’t know this restaurant existed. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the owner. He takes care of the dining room and his wife, her friend, and their son do all the cooking in the kitchen. It’s a nice family run operation. We started out with two appetizers, the chicken satay, and the Thai spring rolls. Both were very good and very flavorful. For our entrées, my partner had the red curry with chicken and I had the yellow curry with chicken. We also shared the drunken noodles with chicken that we later found out was prepared by their son. It was the best I’ve had in a very long time. Both of these were excellent! The portions were huge! We decided to try something different for dessert, it was highly recommended by the owner so we opted for coconut and sweet pumpkin tapioca, it consisted of pumpkin, taro, and coconut milk with tapioca pearls and was served warm. It had just enough sweetness to satisfy the sugar craving after dinner. If you’re looking for good homemade Thai food this is the next place that you want to go. We also noticed that they do a lot of takeout.“

“This place always leaves a little to be desired, but it's not terrible. The sushi isn't very good. Just tastes a little... off. I got the four pepper chicken recently though and it was fantastic. Really tasty. The hibachi is pretty yummy too. Overall, place gets it done in a pinch, but wouldn't go out of my way.“

“Grat Japanese and Chinese restaurant. Have only done takeout, so I can't comment on service. The food is top notch. Whether you order sushi or Chinese you can't go wrong. Have spent time in both Japan and China, this is some of the best in this country. We have not had a thing we didn't like. Their online ordering system is one of the best. They tellyou how long and it is always ready and correct.“

“We mixed it up a little today by having Japanese and Korean. So we started with their 3 Sushi luncheon special with miso soup. We had the avocado , california and salmon sushi's. They were all made well - tightly held and evenly cut. Each roll sliced into 4 pieces. I found the sushi rice had a little sweetness and hint of vinegar which was balanced well. They make their own soy sauce which was perfect - a little sweet and slightly salted but more of the low soy flavor. I find regular soy sauce a bit too salty and perhaps a little to heavy. I ordered the SPICEY chicken tteook bokki. If you love food which has heat from the gochujang, sliced stir fried chicken, and beautifully soft but chewy rice cake with carrot and oniions . I love this Chicken ttteok bokki but not for the faint of heart that can't handle the heat. Although you can order this dish sweet instead of spicy as well. My wife order the beef bulgogi. The beef was sliced and very tender. It was marinated evenly throughout and very tastie. It was not spicy but balance with a litlle sweetness and saltiness. The dish was stir fried deliciously with cut broccoli. Of course it came with a cup of cooked white rice to bring everything together. Service was spot on. The waitress timed our food perfectly with an easy constant flow coming. Never felt rush and the waitress came back a few time to make sure all was well. The restaurant was very clean, cozy, moderate modern and yet comfortable. This could be one of your date night places. Not sure if they serve alcohol or BYOB (Beer) or BYOW (WINE) We had their bottle of Perrier. But Yes Way. I'll be coming back!“
