I can honestly say we are VERY pleased that we gave The Ridges a try. The food and service were exceptional. We started with Crab Cocktail and some oysters, they were as good as any we have ever had. As we enjoy a nice glass of red with dinner the server suggested a new Brunello that was not yet on the wine list at a reasonable price. Another hit, they decanted the wine and we enjoyed every drop. For dinner we ordered a Rack of Lamb and a Tomahawk Veal Chop, both were served piping hot and prepared to perfection with delicious sides! We ended up splitting a delicious dessert and heading home with full bellies and plans to return to The Ridges soon, this is a place that is not to be missed”

“Love Meat in Stamford ticked all the boxes for a great all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant. Two hours of grilled bbq meats along with banchan, stews, and side dishes. Love Meat offers two meal plans of AYCE. We opted for Set A at $42. The meal we chose offered enough variety of Korean side dishes, stews where we didn’t feel the need to go with the higher priced Set B meal option.At no time did we have to call a server to our table. They were pleasant and came to the table often to grill the meat, fill our water glasses, ask if we wanted more dishes.We like to wrap the meats inside the lettuce leaves which is about the only thing we had to ask for. Asked and received. The grill was replaced often, maybe 4 or 5 times. I enjoyed the SSAMJANG paste, salt and sesame oil/soy dipping sauce options on the meats that weren’t already marinated. My favorites were the marinated beef short ribs, ribeye, cheese corn and steamed egg. Although it was all good those were my standouts. We did not order any chicken which was also available at Set A, not fish on this option. Fish and more side dishes are offered on Set B. Something to note, there is no Wi-Fi available and the bar doesn’t open until after 3 or 4 so no cocktails until then. I’ll be back.”

“While in Stamford, a friend and I felt like having Indian food for lunch and found this gem. The food was spot on and presented nicely. The waiter was very gracious, patient, very pleasant and answered all of our many questions, describing things well.My friend ordered Lamb Kadhai Methiwala (onions, bell peppers and fresh fenugreek.) I ordered Lamb Korma (creamy cashew sauce.) We shared and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The lamb in each was tender. It was nice to share as one was rich and the other less rich with more heat. Both were balanced perfectly with spices. Each lunch plate came out Bento style with a goodie in each section - basmati rice (of course,) Aloo Tikki, a scrumptious vegetable of the day (which was potato with what I believe was tindora a.k.a. Ivy Gourd) and naan. Everything was so delicious that at the time I didn't even think to ask for the various chutneys. My friend and I agreed - we liked this restaurant very much and would definitely come back. Another positive is that it's priced very fairly. We wished we asked the waiter for his name so we could list it here and thank him for his service.”

“The food was amazing! I had the mafaldine Nero which is a seasonal selection and my fiancé had the beef Wellington and both were delicious. The Wellington was cooked perfectly and my pasta with braised octopus was to die for. We also had the creme brûlée which was delicious. The margarita was one of the tastiest margaritas and I’m not a big margarita fan. The old fashioned with hibiscus infused bourbon was unique in it’s taste but I loved it. It gave the bourbon a refreshing taste. Service was excellent!”

Absolutely delicious and the servings are good size for both food and cocktails. This is true authentic Peruvian food. It was truly like being back there. Even the ajis were incredible. We couldn’t get enough of everything we had. That’s how good this place is. My family never thought we’d have real Peruvian food outside of Peru and this place nailed it. Only issue I had was with service being a bit slow, however, it wouldn’t deter me from returning. I also think this is a new establishment and doesn’t have a ton of tables so it makes sense not to have too many servers. I absolutely recommend this restaurant and hope everyone out there makes a visit. You will not regret it. Prices are a little high but I’m a firm believer of quality over quantity. Worth every penny. “As a New Yorker, I find this place truly a gem in downtown Stamford. Brought my family here for brunch and the service was amazing. The staff are extremely nice, the owner and Chef Eduardo came out to greet our table, adding to the experience. My family was pleasantly surprised with the drinks and food. I was a bit skeptical at first, since NYC offers some many good restaurants with renowned chefs and cuisines, and my own personal experience with restaurants around Stamford wasn’t the greatest. So, I played it safe, and order the simplest dish on the brunch menu, Eggs Benedicts, with the hollandaise on the side. The flavors were there and everything was in harmony when it comes to taste. The Hollandaise Sauce was just right, creamy enough with just the right amount of acid ratio. The biscuit was not salty and held its own which was a great compliment to the natural saltiness of the prosciutto. The poached egg added the umami needed to bring the dish together. The potatoes cut into cubicles with the caramelized onions and herbs were perfect and not oily. The whole dish was in full of balance and flavorful. I enjoyed every bite of it. The other dishes were just as great, we ordered scallops, the steak and frites and the lobster. I hope the restaurant continues to strive and can’t wait to see what the future awaits.”

The Wellington was cooked perfectly and my pasta with braised octopus was to die for. We also had the creme brûlée which was delicious. The margarita was one of the tastiest margaritas and I’m not a big margarita fan. The old fashioned with hibiscus infused bourbon was unique in it’s taste but I loved it. It gave the bourbon a refreshing taste. Service was excellent!”

Oysters, lobster bisque, bacon and shrimp, filet mignon, burger, & cocktail drinks were good. They gave us free shots at the end of our meal. So we decided to come back for dinner the next evening. Our server was a bit unenthusiastic compared to the service we had before and I had a very important friend join us that evening. But the food was just as pleasing. Tried raw claims on accident they were supposed to be Oysters but quick fix, lobster bisque, they made me a nice simple salad that wasn't technically on the menu, ribs and sides, lemon pepper shrimp, filet mignon, baked potato, and wine this night.”

My friend's husband had the Singapore noodles, and my friend and her children had various sushi rolls. They also had the miso soup. We all greatly enjoyed the food. Service was pretty good. The waiter seemed to be understanding about the very active children. My only complaint is that they never refilled our rather small water glasses, so I'm deducting a star for that. The restaurant was mostly empty, but it was a rainy Sunday night. I liked the decor, and the children enjoyed the music. I would definitely return or get delivery if I'm back in the area.”
