“The White Horse I imagine hails from the mythical land of Flavortown that Sir Guy of Fieri has told us about so many times. The burgers are made with a delicious blend of beef and cooked to your preferred temperature. The fish and chips, which seems run of the mill, was probably the best that I have ever had. The fish was flaky and flavorful, not just the fried taste, but it was delicious fresh fish. I will be coming back. I recommend it. I don't live close to Marty's, but whenever I'm close by, I stop by for the tasty food (I enjoyed the wheat berry salad this time!) and the friendly atmosphere.“

“Three of us went on Sunday the 7th, opening day of the Elephant Trunk flea market. This was the 2nd eatery we tried. For as busy as it was, we were seated within minutes. After accidentally liking the Facebook page for this restaurant rather than a similarly named one in my town, I’ve spent the last few months looking at the posts and thinking I have to visit this place. The opportunity came to bring someone special there for his birthday and it was just amazing. Having eaten probably thousands of meals in restaurants I can tell you that I met the best server ever - Suzy. “They are located behind a gas station in Litchfield, CT. They rank up there with Bigfoot and UFO's in terms of things you might randomly find while driving. That being said, make the effort. Their pizza is awesome, with perhaps the most perfect crust I've had. Everything else on their menu is well done, too. Why does all the magic happen behind a gas station?“

“I've driven by Bantam Pizza for years, and I think before this only stopped once. It's a cute exterior, it clearly used to be a house with a big front porch. The restaurant has a front and side entrance, although the side opens into the table area and looks a little cramped. The front you have more space to take it in. It still looks homey, with a pizza counter in the back of the "sitting room". The menu is pretty big with selections. I ultimately chose a steak sandwich, which had meat that was well seasoned. The cheese ratio was pretty good for this part of the country, and the bread was fresh. The mozzarella sticks were exactly what you think they are, and a little oily. My poor shirt suffered. The Oreo cake was not made in house, but so creamy and chocolately, who cares? The waitress was really friendly despite multitasking while she worked. Check on a table, then unload a box of soda. Check on tables, bring something to the basement. Her speed and good cheer throughout was impressive. It was good food and a good experience!“

“Warm atmosphere with comfortable chairs and great lighting, Dishes according to their price, the calzone is large and you can add whatever you want, in terms of flavor they go overboard with the sauce, it was too much on each plate. The service was friendly although they were not attentive to the table, even though there were few tables (ask how everything is, if they want more water or so on). The price is reasonable.“

“Nestled in downtown New Milford, Johana's has expanded from a little restaurant to a medium-sized restaurant -- and the COVID-era outdoor seating is here to stay for good, it seems. Thankfully, the service and food haven't suffered as they've grown. They're only open for breakfast and lunch, so they only get two chances to earn your money. I've only been for breakfast, and it's worth it! I had the scotch eggs, and while I wouldn't order that special again, that's my own personal tastes. I will say they were delicious, cooked perfectly, and I'm glad I tried them. My girlfriend had an omelet with no shortage of fillings. The giant pile of home fries on the side also helped. The coffee is refilled constantly until you tell them to stop.“

“Spring rolls were crispy with a very tasty filling. Crab rangoons were light and delicious. Fried rice was some of the best I’ve ever had. Garlic combination (chicken, beef, shrimp) was amazing with lots of veggies. Lo mein was also terrific with lots of veggies.“

“Came for my mans birthday and first time coming. We were in a separate room, very elegant , an area that was not loud. We ordered drinks and received numerous amounts of bread per our request, ordered appetizers fried calamari, buffalo wings, and salads and ordered our food eventually. We ordered prime Rib and Filet Mignon. When ordering the meat, it's all you get. It's an added charge for a sauce. it's an added charge for a side. Our group of people ordered sushi, steaks, seafood linguini, and porterhouse for two . The service was great for the number of people we had. We ended with desserts and sang Happy birthday.“

“My husband and I were in the area and found this gem. I love the esthetics. The staff was friendly, warm and inviting. Our waitress Julia provided awesome service. I really liked that everyone worked as a team.The food was delicious. I had the fish tacos. Everything was fresh. “This establishment is a staple of the town of Bridgewater and for good reason. Aside from the historical significance of the building itself, the food is always delicious, pricing fair, staff genuinely friendly, and atmosphere welcoming. We always feel like we are visiting family when we are here.During warmer weather, there are several tables out front for a nice view of the Town’s main thoroughfare.They stock a generous variety of the mouthwatering Bridgewater Chocolates (of course!), and their store has some light food, treats, and odds & ends. There is also an area with home goods and gifts - all really nice quality.I highly recommend Bridgewater Village Store & Bistro for a tasty meal, or as a spot to stock up on some food and drinks for a road trip or drive around town.“

“This is the best Mexican restaurant in town. The food is delicious, authentic, and so flavorful. Generous portions and courteous staff. Highly recommend anything with steak, quesadillas, fajitas, and nachos. The salsa is phenomenal. The margaritas are good too!“

“A staple of the Woodbury community for as long as I can remember, Ting Jiang nails the classics (Sesame Chicken, Sweet/Sour, etc), but they also bring bold Asian flavor to an extensive menu of memorable meals. A few tables for indoor dining, the restaurant is walking distance from everything the town has to offer (natural market, schools, antique shops, parks). We often do takeout and the service is fast, friendly, affordable, and the food always fresh. The portions are seriously generous—usually enough to stretch into multiple meals. The tasting room is a great place to try something out before buying it. Unfortunately, I think some people mistake this working brewery and farm as a brew-pub. It is not. It is a brewery that graciously opens it's doors to the public for tasting sessions and has occassional local events. It is a great place!“
