“Outstanding restaurant! (and we do a lot of our dining in NYC!) Local 63 is an oasis in Watertown, CT in a variety of ways. The food is creative (even when the dish SOUNDS traditional). The chicken fried steak (hard to even find in New England) is outstanding. The salads were awesome: perfectly dressed with great crunch and freshness. The Cassoulet (originally a French farmhouse dish) with chicken, in-house sausage, and white beans cooked to perfection is something you will not find in many other places. Great bar--friendly atmosphere and great for large groups and celebrations. This is a hidden gem with excellent service and owners who obviously care! I will go back and bring many other guests here when I have a chance.“

“This place is awesome, the friendly staff and people that come regularly to sporting events or just to watch a game or enjoy their nice patio in the back area is awesome too. I'm a new neighbor of the area and it's a clean atmosphere with wholesome people and great wings in wet and dry flavors, all the food is delicious and with good timing calling in or sit down.Parking: First come, first serve and fills quickly for happy hour time , game days but there is Street parking all around. “The food is always delicious and prepared how you like it. Its a clean atmosphere with kind and professional staff. The owners are community minded, and generous. They are involved with outreach organizations raising money, awareness, and basic need items for people in need. My son, Richard, enjoys eating at Gayles more than any other restaurant because of how we are treated there, and because he says they have the best burgers, turkey clubs, and milkshakes around!!!!“

“G’s Burgers is an incredibly fine establishment. The food tastes excellent right after it comes out, and you can fall in love with some of their dishes. Although some meals are a tad overpriced, the experience is still worth every penny. The restaurant is a hot spot among many people in Watertown, therefore meaning you might run in to somebody you know. The menu also has a variety of options, from meals to dessert. The staff is always nice to their customers, and the aura of the place is relaxed. You feel at home with the delightful aroma of the restaurant, and you can never go wrong with G’s. I’ve met a lot of people, and all of their responses about this restaurant has been the same; G’s never fails to satisfy your hunger and your mood.“

“We have been to Uncommon many times and the food is always amazing and we have always had a great experience all around but I want to say we had the absolute best service here tonight so I wanted to thank our server Justin D. for an outstanding dining experience tonight. Justin was professional and has a really fun personality. Even though the restaurant was crazy busy we never had to ask for anything, Justin was just there anytime we needed anything. The support staff also did an amazing job tonight as well keeping the table clear of empty glasses and dishes and running food. Just an over all lovely experience.“

“I have eaten at The Meating Place many times always so delicious from the steak sandwich,fish sandwich,fried dough,hot dogs, sweet potato, regular fries and onion rings and for the cold weather delicous soups and they even had beef stew! They have specials too!! Well worth stopping and grabbing a meal to take home and in nice weather they have picnic tables to sit at and relax and enjoy this delicious comforting food!“

“We were at the flea market nearby and went for lunch because it was so close. Located in a strip mall, it’s was a cozy, informal, little restaurant with booths and some tables. Service was prompt and courteous, menu had all the classics and nice, simple dinners and black board specials. We had cheeseburger deluxe and pastrami melt. The fries were so good, steak fries that cooked to a deep golden brown. Perfect crunch for the outside, soft and mashed potato like inside. It’s been a while since I had fries that good!!! Burger was hefty, cooked to perfection and juicy. Pastrami melt was tender, with very thinly sliced sauté onions, grilled well on rye. Coleslaw was very good, not too saucy, not to dry. Ice tea was very good.Saw others selections, pot roast with gravy looked so good and a grilled chicken salad that was enormous!Prices were great for the quality and portion sizes. Can’t wait to go back again.“

“Another wonderful experience at the Winvian. Upon our arrival Christina had already made our favorite drinks which were waiting for us at the bar. Very Impressive. Our food was exceptional, as usual, and Stefano selected an amazing wine for us to enjoy and paired perfectly with our entre. After accidentally liking the Facebook page for this restaurant rather than a similarly named one in my town, I’ve spent the last few months looking at the posts and thinking I have to visit this place. The opportunity came to bring someone special there for his birthday and it was just amazing. Having eaten probably thousands of meals in restaurants I can tell you that I met the best server ever - Suzy. She was attentive without being intrusive, personable without being over the top and she has an amazing sense of humor. The food was outstanding as well which rounded out a perfect evening! We’re already planning another visit up when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the patio and live music!!“

“So despite the name, Big Daddys does have eat-in service, and also appears to be part of a gas station? The location is a bit off the beaten path, but plenty of parking. I found a certificate on Restaurants.com for the pizzeria, and it was a good deal. Lunch and dinner at a discount! The burgers were pretty large, as were the fries if you ordered them as a side. The pizza had more of a tomato-acidy sauce than sweet, but a good amount of cheese. You could order by the slice inside. There is also ice cream, onion rings in the hot food area, and baked goods wrapped for desserts. There's both Coke and Pepsi in the coolers, and chips behind the window side booths. They also have a bar area and sell on Slice! Big Daddys also does local delivery on certain days in the evening. Goodness, there's a lot going on. Plus, a good flow of pick up orders. The gentlemen at the register seemed to have a good handle on things though.“

Ranch Burger made to order, fresh thick sliced vegetables with steak fries. The Bourbon Wings made me Regret only ordering 6 should've taken 12 more home ???. Sweet potato fries for the win crispy to the order, fresh coleslaw..... The Bill came to $37 something I tipped $15. Compliments to the Chef. You walk in, and everyone starts to know your name… The weight staff is always very friendly and often strike up a conversation which I find something special these days. The food options are always great, and there are always a few specials on the list that catch someone’s eye. The draft beer choices are always rotating and changing which is great; often locally sourced. The bar area is always bustling, and offers a free pool table for patrons.
